I've not been here in about a year and a half with my car but I really like the work they did on my car they explained so I could understand and Danny was the 1 talked to but the other guys were cool also

What the heck, not even 1 year has past since brakes were done at this place. That was a bad experience in of itself. Went without car all weekend because they wanted to say I didn't call? when I called several times. And could prove that I called. Got a shrug shoulder and copy of receipt. Now this TONS OF BRAKE DUST. SOMETHING WASNT DONE RIGHT. Obviously won't use these guys AGAIN! WISH I could post a picture of the dust on my rims.

Danny is fabulous!! I was so pleased with the kindness and courtesy I experienced from the first second I walked in the door. Danny makes sure he does what he says he will and he left me feeling secure in my vehicle as I drove home. Prices are fair and me being a single woman now days that means so much to me. For all the women out there that are scared to go for automotive care, go to Main Street Automotive on West Main and 20th in Belleville, Illinois. You will not be disappointed. Worst service I've ever gotten. Been a week since they said I will have my car and I still haven't heard from them. They won't answer or return my calls and they are closed during their open business hours.

I have had work done by Danny on several vehicles. Very honest man and will not rip you off. He will give you an honest price. Even with my exhaust work he done with my vehicles he went above and beyond to make sure it was the way I wanted and sounded. Danny is down to earth, I will recommend everyone to him.. The owner was so personal, the helper also kind both just gentlemen. He really some one you can trust and be very honestI heard the best in what cars they do serviceVery honest.he will take a lost before he getOver on you. The mechanics at Main Street Automotive are awesome. They explained the issue with my car in a way I was able to understand. I would recommend them and will definitely return to them if I have any other Automotive issues.

Danny is a great mechanic and an honest person. He would never sell you something you didn't need and will let you know what repairs need addressed now and what can wait. His prices will beat all his competitors. I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out for yourself.

He is the only person I have trusted foe many years! I don't care how far away his shop is I will only go to him. Love the family friendly environment at the shop also. So glad Danny got his own shop cause he knows big shop price is not for everyone he is so reasonable! Keep up the good work and keeping my car truck ect going!

I had a wheel bearing blow out on Highway 55 near Belleville Illinois., on Saturday, March 14 at about 3 PM. I pulled over, my right front wheel was about to fall off. I was 100 miles away from home. I googled automotive shops near me. I called Main Street Automotive to see if they could possibly help me out. The website said they closed at 4 PM. I talked to Greg and Danny, the owners, and Told him my situation and begged them to try to fix my car even though they were closing in an hour. They referred me to a towing company nearby, who showed up 30 minutes later and towed my car to the shop. I arrived at the shop at 4:05 PM. Danny diagnosed my car, ordered the parts and stayed until 8:30 PM to fix my car on the spot. The price was more than fair, Danny and Chris stayed until 8:30 PM and got me back on the road. I give them five stars and I would refer them to anyone anytime. Great service, professionalism, amazing experience. I found my new mechanic shop!

I've heard of dog whisperers and horse whisperers, but a van whisperer? Following recommendation from a neighbor, I took our van to Main Street Automotive today. I appreciate a mechanic who explains / demonstrates problems in layman's terms and who gives great service at fair prices. That describes owner Danny. My husband and I were so satisfied that we asked him to look at another issue before we returned to pick up the van - one of the sliding doors has been locked so securely we could not open with the key fob or manually, from inside, for months."It's not broken," Danny said, after we arrived. He demonstrated that it worked, and then oiled it up (free of charge) in hopes of trying to keep it from happening again. Wow! I might not be so lucky to get in so quickly in the future if word gets out how he and Erin treat people. Maybe I should delete this review....

Took my car in to get a full diagnostic run, and they found out my car was pretty much totaled. Very efficient, to the point, and friendly. Didn't even charge me for the diagnostic.

Danny changed the oil in my car and charged the a/c. He also repaired my boyfriend's car. I recommend him and will bring my car back for other needed repairs

I took my car there because my horn wasn't working... It was an easy fix apparently my fuse was loose. Quick and expert service!!! Got my horn fixed didn't get charged and I will be returning!!

These guys know what they are talking about and what they are doing they are really great guys out there I will be taking my car up there to them pretty quick to get fixed if you need a mechanic please go to these guys first ty guys

My name is Donnie I took my car to main Street Auto and they did a grate job on fixing my mustang took there time and gave me no BS they're a grate shop and have great prices and Will not give you the run around strate up with you not like most shop's I will be taking all of my car's to them from now on thank's!!!!!
