My wife and I purchased a 2011 Grand Cherokee on3/2/2024. Starting day 2 of owning the vehicle, we beganhaving issues with it starting. Since then, we have had it inour possession for 10 days; the remaining days (14 days) ithas been in the possession of Auffenberg being "looked at".To this day March 26, the sales manager at the Econo lothas refused to provide timely updates and keeps deferringany additional information to provide updates on the statusof the car. For the third time, they dropped the vehicle off atthe Auffenberg Jeep dealer earlier this week. Their servicetechs then performed a multi point inspection, finding issuestotaling up to $5,604.37. We only paid $10,000 for this complete the needed service and are "going to have thetechs look at it again. We don't think that quote is right."After speaking to a service advisor at the Jeep dealer, shewas shocked the car was even sold in its current state. There was also a service record of the vehicle being at thatdealership with an oil leak that was never resolved (includedin the quote) and that we were never told about beforepurchasing the vehicle. At this point, I really can't evenexplain the frustrations that have gone into this entiresituation. Avoid this dealer at all costs.

Bought a jeep for my daughter. Was shown a Carfax report and was told the fluids were changed and mechanic went through it top to bottom. All I wanted was a reliable vehicle. There were 2 valve stem caps missing, oil light came on, a fog light bulb was out, and the driver window wouldn't work. Set appointment but in the meantime transmission trouble. Vehicle was in the shop for nearly 2 months. The only thing halfway fixed was the driver window. Wouldn't even give me a printout of work done. Worst experience ever!!!! If you need a used vehicle go anywhere but there.

Cars? I mean, I guess. But do you know what? This whole lot seems like a great place for a baseball stadium! How about that?

These people are terrible first the upgraded warranty "THEY SOLD ME" conveniently doesn't cover a slow leaking tire and when I tried to schedule an oil change they kept playing phone tag with me for fifteen minutes but once I actually spoke to someone they tell me that they could get my car in in 2 weeks for something that only takes 30 minutes..... Please stay away from this lot

Jordan was our sales rep, he did such a great job. Starting out, he greeted us at the door, already had the car we were interested in up front and the started. He was very knowledgeable about his inventory. He even took us to the different Auffenberg lots to show us options. Then when it came down to the paperwork portion he was very patient with us and went over different options and answered any questions we had.

Bought a bad ride. Tried to shop there again and they wouldn't accept the car as a trade because of issues they sold it to me with. My experience isn't that of others I've spoken to or know so I'm reading two states instead of one because maybe I just got a lemon.

This started out as a 1 out of 5 experience. I unfortunately had some issues with the car I initially drove off the lot with. I encountered some resistance when I attempted to return the car the next day (a Tuesday). I came back Saturday after they made some repairs. I was no longer interested in that vehicle. They went above and beyond with helping me find a better car that I love and did it with a smile. Thank you Greg, Mike, and Derek. I was anxiety ridden and upset most of the week. My experience today could not have been better. (And they had pizza!)

Bought a Passat TDI here. Jordan and his sales manager were great to work with. Cars are very clean, well serviced and ready to drive off the lot. I was given a fair and reasonable amount for my trade-in. Very pleasant car buying experience.

John Floyd was absolutely amazing, he helped me find my dream car. He had such patience when I was so indecisive, never once pushed me or made me feel like I had to make a decision! He was very easy to talk to very personable and such a friendly person, I 100% recommend working with him! Thank you again!

This place was a joke I came in looking to spend 15k on a car. Multiple cars I seen online were in the shop only looked at one car went to test drive it and it wouldn t even start. A $14995 car that won t start is a joke! Also ever car they showed me had very bad cosmetic issues. Save yourself time go to a name brand dealer!

Service department is horrible! I continued to use them because I purchased a car for my daughter from them which also included a certain number of oil changes and tire rotations. Each visit was worse than the one before; just rude and condescending. The young man informed me today that I just used up my last free oil change. Hallelujah!!!! You won't see me giving my money away to Auffenberg ever again!

Be careful with this place and you MUST to check the complete car , I bought one some months ago and it was a great mistake it was my first time buying a car, (that is the reason these people got to take advantage over me) the electric windows didn't work after a couple of weeks , the tires explode after two months too the AC didn't work in summer So it was a waste of money and I called and nobody gave a good solution they wanted that I pay from everything .And what I paid for the car was too much for what I got,That car needed a lot of reparations, So Dont let them take your money for a piece of ... I'd like to put zero stars.P.D the spare tire wasn't in good condition either.

I worked with Jack Flowers and John Floyd. They are both professional, personable and pay attention to what the customer wants and needs. I highly recommend both of them as well as the dealership. I would absolutely buy another vehicle from them as well as take my vehicle back to be serviced.

I am only giving them one star due to my salesman Michael Wheeler being such an amazing, patient salesman. I purchased a Volswagen from them on September 26th.. On September 28th i had to take the vehicle back in because the check engine light came on. The salesman had to take it to the VW dealer to get the issue fixed due to it being under warranty. Not even a week later on October 5th, my husband is driving the car and the temp light comes on and it starts running hot. I tell them at this point i would just like to bring the vehicle back due to already having all of these complications when i just purchased the vehicle. I was basically told by the manager that this is my risk with buying a used car and that it had already been over the seven days (by two days) and that luckily i had the extended warranty to cover the issues. The salesman took my car and they service dept said that the water pump needed to be replaced but also suggested the timing belt, tension and something else be replace at a cost of a little over $1400.00. I then told them it was under warranty. The car lot did not even know at that time who my warranty was through. After talking with the warranty people only the water pump is covered and the rest is not but i have the option to pay for it out of pocket or just decline getting it done because it was only a "suggestion". My husband works overnight and can not keep taking the car back to the dealer when we were under the impression that we were purchasing a good functioning vehicle. No one seemed to really care that i had an issue besides my salesman. They just kept saying luckily it is still under warranty. I have a child as work a job. I can not keep on going back and forth to a lot for a car that i literally just purchased. The only plus is that we are given a loaner vehicle while waiting for our car. I am highly disappointed with Auffenberg. Being such a well known name you would think that they would take better care of their customers. They claim they dont know of the issues until the car is driven... Well when your customers comes with multiple issues, you acknowledge that you sold them a boggus car. We are a working family with children and do not have money to waste.

I purchased a 2013 VW Passat from Auffenberg Econo lot. I have to compliment them on wide selection. Hence one star. Effort from the salesman deserves a second star. The reasons for withholding a better rating are these. A car was marked as available on the website, upon inspection I was told that the car was not starting. I requested and verified that the car was starting. I then asked if could take a test drive since the car started. I was told that I could have a short test drive. I liked the car and agreed to purchase it one they had fixed the known issues. A deal was struck. My HUGE mistake here was that I made the payment. It took 2 weeks for the car to be fixed. By that time, half of the 4 week warranty period had expired. Now, with a used car problems dont always surface immediately. Some problems take time to be detected. hence the 4 week warranty period was important to me.I was planning to have my mechanic look over my car and return it within the stipulated 7 day return policy if serious issues were discovered. The delays with fixing eliminated that as well. When I picked up the car I was told that the losses in question were entirely my problem as all warranties started when I made the payment, not when the car was delivered. Please note that in the two weeks period, the car did not leave Auffenberg premises.Upon further instance, i was told that I was part of the problem, and that by asking for reset of the warranty date, I was being greedy and asking for more than what I paid for. I was told to take the keys and leave. My check had been cashed, I had no choice but to take the car and leave.I still feel that warranty should have kicked in the day I picked the car up. At a minimum I should have had that documented on the contract. I hope that you will keep that in mind when you sign paperwork with Auffenberg.

Poor customer service. Do not expect the sales staff or manager to budge $1 on the price. They were difficult to deal with. I would not recommend bring the kids here, as there may be questionable content at this dealership. See attached photos. I did buy a car, and if you choose the delivery, you may check the price of the tow truck. They do not take credit cards on transactions over $3000. You take care of the paperwork, then have to drive across the street to a different place to make payment and sign paperwork.

Went and looked around at the used cars and had great service, everyone that works there is so helpful, also noticed how clean and tidy the bathrooms and the place was in general. Overall excellent experience I would highly recommend these guys. Customer for life.

We had a Mazda 6 that the clutch went out of paid nearly $2,000 to have it fixed engine blew very next day. That prompted My husband to begin car shopping. He contacted The econo corner on a Thursday setup to test drive the next day. Due to work he was unable so he rescheduled and did it on Saturday. 9am Saturday he didn't even get a hello for about an hour in a half due to salesman busy with another customer although he had a scheduled appointment. (ironically a more expensive vehicle). He was there till 4pm. His credit was ran several times and without being able to even see the vehicle, he agreed to sign a contract and purchase but that he would not accept delivery until he could test drive and look car over. His appt. was for test drive. Yet car was unavail. Was told entire car being repainted then mechanic shop for "tune up". Car wouldn't be ready until the following Wednesday or Thursday earliest. He said he'd be out of town so that would work. When he saw the vehicle to test drive/ pickup it was dirty as if (is this a joke?) There was tape residue on light housings and windows as well as paint over spray. Color match was off noticeably. They didn't paint whole car as stated, only portions. Stated the car looked dirty and in poor condition and was told "order of operations was done wrong." "It was detailed before the body shop." Then the test drive. Rear view mirror falls off while test driving, moderate vibration coming from wheels/ tires, rear speakers dont work "turns out there were none period." Salesman comments were to the effect of "its a used car, you get what you pay for". Delivery was refused he said he wanted to cancel the contract and look at other vehicles. Salesman asked if he'd let him make it right. He agreed. Vibrations were rear tires they replaced, rearview mirror was that they didn't tighten after the body work, and they had to order the rear speakers they did order and install. Stepping back a lil in time, on the Saturday the agreement was being done with finance manager, was offered extended warranty. Because of recent issues with the clutch in the car that lead us to purchasing this little lemon was told yes it was covered in the extended warranty. That was really the only reason He paid extra $1310 for warranty. Jump forward 2weeks Delivery day they remedied the concerns just waited on speakers with a promise to deliver. The following day had dobbs do a purchase inspection. Everything checked out except the clutch felt weak. Asked the mechanic if warranty should be contacted and he said most have a 30-45day waiting period after purchase and although weak the clutch would probably last a few months. Fast forward 3mo from then. Clutch is acting up to the point its barely drivable. Spent almost a month being bounced from dealership to dealership. All part of auffenburg group before finally getting it in to have it looked at because nobody seemed to know who provided mechanics service for econo corner. They changed oil which he requested. Mechanics diagnosed car with "needing a tune up". At which time the service writer called him and relayed what tec had said. He argued with him and said that it didn't need a tune up that was supposed to have been done when he purchased the car. "I've driven manual trans. cars most my life I know what a failing clutch feels like." He said he'd talk to tec and call him back shortly. Finally about 7hours later, calls him back and says he took the service manager with him to drive the car. Service manager says it needs a clutch. Then proceeded to tell him price is just under $2500 and thats NOT covered under the warranty. He almost fell over here I am, a few months later in the same situation that brought me to auffenburg in the first place. I understand sales, it involves fudging the truth and padding things to achieve a sale, in this instance I was flat out lied to and this was an extremely deceptive practice. I don't understand why they would sell a car they know is going to fail. I'm about to lose my job over this. Thank you Auffenburg

I ve been calling them for hours only for no answer . I came to this location before only for them to run my credit under about 12 different lenders when all I wanted to do was test drive. I wasn t worried about that this time because I am trying to pay all cash no lender. The car I want is black but the description says candy red so I can t even trust the mileage or anything else listed & no one will answer for me to get the correct information ! Good Job , You just lost and easy, all cash sale. Congrats

John Floyd , is an amazing person. He not only makes you feel welcome. But will go out of his way too find a vehicle that suits you. Even if you think it's not you. Thanks John , I my VW Passat TDI, thought it was too big of a sedan. Until I found my sport gear. 10 months later we have paid it off.

Worst car dealership I ve ever been too. Sat there for 4 hours with no actual conclusion. Ran my credit 8 different times only to never give us an actual answer. Worst experience of my life and managed to see two other people walk out because they were frustrated with the awful service we received. You may have a couple decently priced cars but the run around you gave us was ridiculous.

A word of warning. Don't EVER buy a car from THESE CROOKS. They sold us a car The keyless entry stopped working within a week and ALL of the tires had SLOW leaks after a Month. When we tried to call about this they were ALWAYS too busy to talk. They real nice and polite, UNTIL you buy the car. After that, they will ignore you for MONTHS. THESE are LYING, CROOKS!!

Terrible customer service. Bought car on Friday and was told it would be ready on Monday. Called sales associate to verify, was never called back. Couldn t get anyone to talk to me on the phone. Had to go down to the lot to find out the car was not done. I was then told it would be ready the next day and my salesman would call me as soon as possible, i never got that call.
