The only good thing about this hotel what's when they checked me in the lady was nice the rest of my 5 minute stay was awful. The hotel stinks something awful, when I opened the door I seen about 20 cockroaches.i shut the door back went downstairs and turned the key back in and told them they have roaches bad. The best part was I never put my bag down. Worst hotel I've ever seen and I use to stay at alot of run down hotels when I was on drugs.

Busted out front door, customer service unable to find our registration, and the room had black mold and smelled. We won't be back. I'd rather stay an hour away in Springfield then go back here. The towels were also ripped and no free breakfast as advertised. By far the worst America's Best Value Inn I've stayed in throughout my years on the road for work.

Thos place is absolutely disgusting. Moldy bathrooms (that they say isn't mold)[" it's not mold. It's just because the fans broken and it gets humid from people taking showers"] it's definitely no doubt about it MOLD. Lots of MOLD. other guest were complaining about cockroaches in thier room as I went up to say something about the mold... the pictures will fool you into thinking it's a nice place. It's not.

I would not reccomend traveling with pets. They allow pets and have a $25 fee per day, which is fine but they only tell you it's $25 total when you call to check their pet policy. They also spent any time I saw them glaring at me for having pets. My pets did not do any damage but apparently dogs before us had. If you don't want pets at your hotel, don't offer to allow them. There was also someone who dried all of the laundry including underwear daily on the picnic table out back so I don't reccomend using it.

Look for other options; hotels fine for the price but I'd go to another one. I made a reservation for a room 2 days in advance, I arrive and the room is okay, heater was dusty and dirty but I wiped it off fine. Refrigerator was unplugged, had to call reception about it. Pool was closed, but I understand with COVID, however a brief message of the closure wouldn't have been possible? No breakfast and no coffee maker also cause of covid. More communication with the guest would be appreciated so they know what to expect.

We drove 10 hours and were exhausted and ready to relax before work only to find a filthy hotel in total disrepair! There was baseboard trim lining the hallway with exposed nails, spiderwebs connecting the dirty lamp to the ceiling, the chairs looked as if someone used the restroom on them, the shower head looked like something was growing on it, the beds are tiny and there was a sign on the bathroom door stating that the tub was broken, shower only. If I could give negative stars, I would. It was too bad to stay so we switched hotels. I do not recommend!

Reservation was some kind of joke on us. Their ad shows a pool. We asked, "Do you have a pool?" The reservations guy answered, "Yes." At check in, we ask, what are the pool hours? The very nice person at the front desk let us know that that the pool was closed. It has been closed for at least two years. Everything reeks of CHEAP. NO BREAKFAST, NO DECAF COFFEE. The coffee lids aren't coffee lids, they are the cheap lids you put on rice. They are not using the water softener so all the shower heads are full of lime. The shower head must have been installed by a 54 inch tall plumber. I had to get on my knees to wash my head. Over all, not a good stay.

Nov28 2022....(around 3PM)I go to the Customer Service and talk Staff, I want to buy lottery ticket...She donot understand what i said.She get help from another saff look like her manager.And thenShe said i need to show my ID...Never heard it before...I want to buy lottery ticket not alcohol..I buy alot of lottery tickets before...never talk to show ID.I want to double confirm...so I ask again..At that time...she didnot reply me...she didnot care me.What is the Customer Service.....1.donot comunicate with diversity people2.donot care customerIn america, so many people with different diversity....To development more and more....need to under this point and need to know what is customer service....

We got the kingsuite w jetted tub. Room was quite large. Thinks we're clean and staffwas friendly enough. The only complaints are that the jet tub water came out a very nasty green until it ran for a while and that we did not have a microwave. When asked for one we were told max capacity full of construction workers and that is why they were out

The place wasn't good. Water pressure was awful, water tasted like it had chemicals in it. And there was no actual food just stale donuts and really week coffee. The towels were not white like they were supposed to. And found hairs and dirt In my bed before I even sat on it. Worst place i have been to yet on a vacation. Also the pool was drained. Never coming here again.

Since it's nearly the only hotel in the area we had to stay there. Do not eat the continental breakfast. It is all old and stale. The mini doughnuts were rocks. You will break a tooth. It is nice to be able to smoke in the rooms. The rooms are okay. But you might consider a hotel farther away that is nicer. The pool isn't filled and even if it was I would not go in.

Stayed in 2 different rooms over a 2 night period and both rooms had alot of damage to walls and over all rooms. The pool is posted onsite as permanently closed still. The first night when asking for extra pillows and blankets I was informed we didn't need the pillows and the hotel only carries 1 extra blanket. Second night the room was missing a TV remote. Had to make sure to point out multiple times when speaking to the guy at the front desk we didn't steel it because when I requested a replacement he made sure to tell me that if it's missing we stole it and we will be charged. If you stay here make sure to inventory the room so your not charged for stuff that's missing before you even get in the room.The hotel is in desperate need of renovation, and new management. Unfortunately for anyone traveling to this area there is a serious lack of options.

First walked in hall to go to room & smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Room was clean. Nice desk clerk. Advertise breakfast 6-9. Went at 8 & nothing was set out. Juice & coffee wasn't even available. Ask desk clerk about breakfast, was told not enough people to set out breakfast items. If don't want to serve breakfast, don't advertise it.

Very pleasant atmosphere, rooms are clean and the front desk is very user friendly. Overall I enjoyed my stay here. It's a better option to stay in Beardtown locality.Nearby activities: Gas stations, food stores

My company paid for my family to stay the night here, they paid online and when my husband went to go check in they train to make us pay an addition $150 on top of the $110 that was already paid online and the room was falling apart, there was no breakfast.Nearby activities: There s a lot of businesses close by the only upside

Mold in the showers, water pressure is low, owner is rude. Decent lodging if you aren't stuck in a smokers room however. Charged me more than my fellow crew members and tried to act like it was an accident, happened for three weeks before I said anything. Tried charging me an extra day, internet doesn't work as of 8/23/16 told them 3 weeks ago it didn't the Owner yelled at me, told me I was the only one who complained about it, everyone the other crews told him, we all left. Place was awful, I've seen bad hotels and good ones, I travel for work, this was terrible.

This is an under-cared for establishment. The staff seems to have a very lackadaisical approach to interacting with patrons, cleaning, and managing the facilities. This could be a decent place to stay but it's not cleaned effectively. During my stay, the fire alarms went off at 11pm, then 1am, then 2am, then 3:30am...absolutely unacceptable. The night prior I had to listen to unruly guests having some sort of party at 3am. The staff seem to lack control within their own establishment. I would recommend staying elsewhere, but if you need to stay in Beardstown your options are limited.

I have stayed at several Abv hotels and had great stays and luck with them. But the beards town location needs some work,it was 200 degrees when you walked in the door to check in and the room was that way for the first hour. They had just turned the rooms air on,semi clean. Pool was closed. I think next time I will look in to the budget inn.

Hotel smells of deodorizer as they are trying to cover up cigarette smell. Stains on comforter and holes in blankets. Bed was hard. Pool was drained. Bath towels were disgusting. White towels that have turned brown with spots. Walls thin. Desk clerk was nice.

The worst hotel ever. It is as if it was in a horror movie. Once walked in the room the blankets had visible stains the sheets had hair on them the white towels were black. Lets just say we left and drove another 40 miles to a nicer hotel.

Worse place to stay, Poor and one star is considered still too much, who ever was in charged on the 24th Christmas Eve is one of the terrible and unprofessional people that works there, he claimed himself he was the manager i really doubt about it and if he is no wonder why that place is super lonely, attitude was out control started kicking people out two hours earlier. The yelling thing was the best, I asked him why he was rushing me, this guy blow up and started insulting me, who ever own this place I encourage you to watch the cameras if there s any at the front desk to find out the truth. I will never come back to this place not as long this person is not removed from his charged.
