Tony gives excellent feedback throughout the service experience on status updates. The shop techs are eager to assist with questions re: repairs, and experienced in chassis maintenance and repairs which I have entrusted them to complete on my vehicles..

Not one to usually post negative reviews, but I had 2 dealings, both negative - one being that they are not on top of their stock. Ordered a set of 4 tires and they had me drive 30 minutes to another location for them as they were unable to ship them to their store at the time. This time came to pick up a tire at 510 PM on a Monday (I'm able to mount tires myself) and the doors were locked and doors were closed. Needed this tire urgently as I need my car for work tomorrow. Online it's posted that they close at 6 at the time of this post

Great experience as usual. I m a loyal customer and I am glad that I am.Tony, the manager, is always helpful and the technicians are great. Today they took care of a warranty issue with no hassles!

I don t typically post reviews but I ve never had a bad experience at this particular PB. Just replaced a tire after being told by another company that there was no nail even though I knew there was. PB confirmed and replaced all within an hour. Amazing service, would recommend.

For this particular service I have to rate it as 3 stars. I brought my cars here multiple times for an oil change with no issues. This time after my oil change was complete my Oil Light came on and I kinda jumped the gun here but instead of bringing it back to Pep Boys I brought it to the dealership. They found nothing wrong and topped the oil off and it has been fine since. So although I didn't give Pep Boy's a chance to rectify the issue I would think they would have put enough oil during a routine oil change.

Was able to get in same day for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection before a road trip. Nice waiting area, friendly service, and good value (~$75 with 25% off coupon).

We needed two tires for my son s car. We were able to make the selection online, schedule an appoint for a few hours later, and then get the new tires installed. They were fast, and very professional. they took me as a walk in and treated me like I had an appointment. got my tires in a little over 2 hours and I was on my way.

I called to set up an appointment for 4 tires. Raul told me they were in stock and we set up an appointment. I took off work because I needed it done fast. I show up for the appointment and Raul confirms the tire model. He then proceeds to tell me it's not in stock and hasn't been in stock for a month. He didn't even apologize, just made up multiple excuses about how his system might have been wrong when I called. He also informed me he didn t have 4 of any other brand tire in my size. Don't make the same mistake as me. Go elsewhere.

I've been in several times for service on both of my vehicles, and new tires. They have always been forthright and on several occasions have told me that I didn't yet need work (brakes, tires) when I asked them to check. They told me how long I had and when I came back for tires and asked about brakes they said I was fine. Many other places that would take any work if you seem willing to pay and never let you leave without a list of "recommended" additional work. The manager is great and has earned my trust, that they will tell me when and what I really need done.

I went into this Pep Boys yesterday simply looking for just an estimate for new tires and an oil change. I knew they were only open for another hour and knew they probably didn't have enough time to complete what I needed done. After walking in and talking to Brian K for only a few minutes and talking to him about what I needed done he assured me that he would be able to get it all done for me that day. So we took a few minutes to pick out the tires I needed and went on his way to complete it. After sometime he came up to me explaining how terrible my rotors were. Many times you go into auto shops and they tell you how everything is wrong with your car (your break pads are bad, your rotors are shot, etc.) because they are trying to make as much money as they can off you. But Brian actually took me and showed me the damage on them instead of just saying "how bad" they were. So after looking up pricing I agreed they needed to be changed. So he went back to work on my car and after a few more minutes came back to me explaining how bad my break pads were. I honestly thought he was pulling my leg this time. I knew my rotors were bad, but my break pads too? Again, He showed me how terribly destroyed my break pads were. There was nothing left of them but metal. So again we looked up pricing and I agreed that I wanted it done. Brian was extremely honest with me the whole time and gave me the best pricing I could have asked for. I do a lot of research when it comes to getting my car worked on and he truly gave me the best quote. I suggest this Pep Boys to anyone. The staff is extremely friendly and nothing but honest. And there prices are amazing! Thank you so much for everything Brian! I know where I will be going if I ever have a car issue again.

James and Rey were very helpful in getting my thermostat fixed urgently (even though they were very busy) right before a long road trip. They were polite, friendly and did a great job. I really appreciate their quick and straightforward service.

Got new tires put on about a year and a half ago. They started leaking air so I took them in to get them looked at and fixed/replaced. They told me the day before it would only take about an hour. When I got there to drop off they said it would be longer because they only had 1 mechanic. Then they called me to say that they couldn't find my wheel lock that I was never given in the 1st place. They said I needed to replace the tires I said no last time it took 8hrs so just fix it, they could only fix one because the others were stripped.but they never found the wheel lock so they stripped the lug nuts to remove them and put them back on so loose that they could be removed by hand. They are lucky I didnt have any incident or I would be calling a lawyer. NEVER GO HERE!!!Service: Tires

Very upset! Just got all new tires last April. They leaked quickly within two weeks of purchase. Took the car back with the issue, they said there was nothing wrong with the tires that it was my car sensor. Well I ve had to fill my tires up about every month since purchase. Fast forward to now, I have a flat tire that is non-repairable because my sensor was wrong. I now live in another state and the Pep Boys here says it s MY fault. Well thank you young man at Pep Boys in Batavia for not sealing all my tires properly and telling me that the issue was my car. I have to buy a new tire now!

Ordered a battery online which was to be delivered to this location. Order stated it would take a day to be delivered. Waited an extra day and made an appointment for install. Arrived and was told that the battery was not there yet. Told that I would be called when it was in. Never heard anything. Went to another Pep Boys and had a much better experience.

If it was possible to give them zero stars I would. They workers in the repair section are incoherent nit-wits who are to lazy to type in numbers and look up warrenty. They didnt want to take anymore cars or deal with my issue so magically the tire I needed disappeared. When I asked to speak to a manager, suddenly no one else worked in the store. They were total jerks on the phone, hanging up twice on me. They were mouthy and did not adhere to any pepboy standards. I have been dealing with pepboys at a different location and never had any problems.

Be aware from this place if you're looking for an honest mechanic!! They kept me waiting 3.5 hours after making several mistakes on ordering the right parts for my car's breaks. Told me that they would waive for labor cost and only charge for parts because they completely dropped the ball. When I came to pay, they charged me 332.58 just for labor costs and flat out lied about what they promised. Very disappointing! Very dishonest manager!

After getting screwed over by another shop, I was able to take my car here for not only an honest opinion, but fast, quality service. Mike and James did everything I needed to replace two bent wheels and a tire, I couldn't be happier with the customer service I received and will most certainly be back.

The General Manger took care of me in a timely and efficient manner!! Car was nice and clean after all the work was performed. I will definitely be back!!! Need signage or SOMETHING, so people know where they are hiding this gem!!!

Tried to get me to pay $2-3000 to have my 2005 grand am fixed. Was told "there's some big problems with your car. It needs some serious work." Oil leak, problem with the struts and new tires were the so called "big problems". It's an old car with over 150 thousand miles on it, most of these things are fairly normal. Had it checked out by Kevin's in St Charles and they said there was really nothing urgent wrong with it. Pep boys is good for a quick oil change while you sit in a nice waiting area, but don't trust them with anything major.

Stopped here to fix an urgent problem with my cooling system that had me stuck far from home. Was going to try and fix myself, as I noticed they were busy with cars on lifts already, so just asked to borrow a channel lock. Mike behind the counter understood the issue, and insisted I allow them to handle it.His mechanic, James, was able to rectify the problem for me in 10 minutes, and even recommended a specific tool kit in case something similar happens in the future.These two guys are straight shooters, and I'd definitely bring my car to them again.

Went in Friday 8/7/2015 for a Estimate for a Passenger side wheel bearing replacement. Lady at the counter said it would be 30min because only one Mechanic was working that day. I scheduled a appointment for 4:30pm Saturday 8/8/2015. Mechanic who did the test drive left the lot, and took it out on to Randle Road was gone for close to 15 minutes. He then brought the car into the shop, and spun the wheels around, then max out the RPM's spinning the wheels on the lift. During the Estimate the mechanic stated that both the Wheel Bearing, and Front Hub needed to be replaced. Estimate for parts was slightly high. Then I was then estimated for 5 hours of labor at 108 dollars a hour. All this while the Mechanic's girlfriend, and buddy were using one bay for their own personal repair shop. Do not go to this Pep Boys. In the last 6 to 8 month it's degraded into a scam labor shop run by teenage kids who think they can scam you with $108 dollar labor costs. When Mechanic labor is $60 to $85 dollars max.
