Steve's Automotive is the place to go for your auto repairs. My car sat for a month at a local repair shop that kept telling me they were busy and hadn't had time to look at it. I took it from that shop to Steve's Automotive. Within a day I had an answer as to what was wrong. In three days it was fixed and back home. I will recommend Steve's Automotive to everyone. Jonas was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for fixing my car in a timely manner.

Jonas is a very personable guy. Very honest and fairly priced. I recommend them to family and anyone I know who needs repairs, maintenance and tires. I called Steve's Automotive not sure if he would be able to get me in within the timeframe I needed my car to be done. Not only did he get me in for the initial inspection way ahead of schedule, he notified me of another issue I was unaware of and made sure to call and ask about the repair before performing the repairs. Much better than other shops that I have used that over promise, under deliver, and overcharge. Steve and his employees are incredibly honest and hard working. I would recommend them to anyone. Bonus points for the friendly staff in the front office!

Great crew! I bought a car from someone who had the engine swapped here at Steve s Automotive. I had some questions regarding the swap and other miscellaneous junk about the car. They were very quick, patient, and easy to deal with over the phone. Steve and his crew answered and explained my questions in detail for a newbie like me. The engine swap done by them has been great for me. Very professional, no issues. No regrets on purchasing a car with a engine swap from these pros. Would highly recommend. Thanks!!

I went in for an alignment, tire rotation, and a tire balance my truck was done in about a hour, it drives straight as an arrow and has no vibrations now. Wheel bearing went out on my to visit my daughter. Called in early morning. Got me in right away. Everyone there was very courteous and professional. . I had to buy a small cargo van in Peoria even though I live out-of-state. I used to work for a car company, so I know what can happen at a dealership if I don't get an independent prepurchase inspection. I didn't know any mechanic in Peoria, so I trusted the reviews here and got a hold of Steve. Wow, what an honest guy. Very knowledgeable, too. The front desk staff was a pleasure to deal with as well. Steve took his time and did a thorough inspection, so I was able to get the dealership to fix a couple things before I got the car. Steve didn't push sales and was genuinely trying to help and help he did. Highly recommending him.

Steve's is great. I have been taking my cars plus my business truck here for about three years for a variety of service and repair. They are knowledgeable, prompt, friendly and the prices are fair. I recommend to all my friends.

Looked over a car for me that I wanted to buy from a dealer. Did not charge a dime. Honestly reported both the goods and the bads about the vehicle. The best part - they say "please" and "thank-you" to each other in the shop. A good bunch of people. Would have come again if I'd lived in the area.

Reasonably priced, very friendly staff, and they know what they're doing. I have a hard time trusting anyone except myself when working on my vehicles, but I trust Steve and his staff.

I am a shop owner in the Chicago land area and one of my customers contacted me about his daughter who goes to Bradley Univ had a problem with her truck . I reached out to Steve and Bonnie to see what kind of help they could give her and WOW what an AMAZING team they are from start to finish getting her back on the road ! Everyone says they wish they had an honest mechanic. Well look no further. Have been there with multiple vehicles and never worried that my car was not receiving the proper attention. Well done Steve.

On July 9th we had to make our return trip from Illinois to Minnesota. An 8 hour trip with two teenagers and a 10 month old baby. Needless to say our trip to Illinois the day previous was filled with a blown tire at 75 mph & a temperature gauge that wanted to run higher than normal. I was referred to them by another mechanic in the area who didn't have time to take a look at my vehicle. The guys at Steve's Automotive did not hesitate to get my vehicle in and check it over for me. They put it on the computer to check codes and drove it for about 10 minutes to make sure everything was running properly. I believe it was Steve's wife who was in the waiting area with us. She made us feel welcome and like a friend. Her son and my daughter are the same age so she let my daughter play with his toys while we waited. Overall GREAT experience with this automotive shop. Would definitely recommend anyone who lives in the area to go to them for their vehicle maintenance! Thanks for helping us out & getting us back on the road with more confidence in our return trip home. You guys are AWESOME!!!!!
