Popped a tire tonight and roadside assistance through my girlfriend s insurance was taking forever (over an hour) and the provider assigned to come help out wasn t answering. Getting frustrated with the situation I looked up roadside assistance providers in the area and decided to give Hines Mobile Mechanic a try and I m glad I did!Aaron was extremely friendly, got to our location within 20 minutes, and charged less than we would ve paid through insurance. I ll definitely be going through him for future mechanic services!

Called on a Sunday as I was home from school for a limited amount of time and Aaron came that day. He thought it was one issue, when that was replaced/fixed, the noise my car was making originally was still heard after the fact. He didn't charge for the parts/times that was actually causing the issue (though we at least paid for the parts). He delivered his promise of fixing my car (as it took 2 other parts being replaced before the root problem was fixed). His pricing is great as you'd be charged 3-5x more at a shop. He will not rip you off and give it to you straight. Had a great experience with him (he comes to you!), will definitely be calling him in the future if needed!

My liftgate rear window hinge broke Saturday evening. Aaron responded quickly. He assessed the parts needed and was able to repaired the car within a short period of time. We were driving through Illinois on our way to Wisconsin (90 miles from home) when we noticed a really weird noise coming from the engine. We pulled over to a gas station and checked under the hood, and one of the belts was emitting smoke. I called around trying to find an open shop in the area, but it was 4pm on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and the few mechanics who were still around said they wouldn't be able to help me until Monday.So you can imagine how grateful I was to see the listing for Hines Mobile Auto Repair. Aaron answered right away and drove out to meet us (he was an estimated 30 minutes away, but it took over an hour with traffic). He diagnosed the problem (AC compressor had seized) and was able to give us a quick temporary fix to get us home, with helpful tips on how to order a replacement part for our home mechanic to install. He only charged us the diagnostic fee, but we were happy to add a generous tip because he probably saved us hundreds in the long run if we'd been stuck overnight (with the costs of towing, at least one night in a hotel, possibly gas/tolls for a friend to come pick us up and take us back to get the car, etc).At first, we felt like we were taking a gamble with the mobile service, but Aaron was communicative, honest, and committed to helping us without upselling us. I highly recommend his services to anyone living in NW Chicagoland (or stranded nearby off I-90 like we were!).

Aaron offers a very needed service and handles himself very professionally. He responded an hour after I left a message for him and he kept me posted throughout the day as to when he would arrive. He charges a very fair price for a service call and was able to diagnose and fix the problem within an hour. I will definitely call Aaron if I need a mobile mechanic again.

I had Hines replace the 2 front struts and wheel hub assembly on a 2008 Lexus LS460. Aaron was extremely professional and the job was done great. I was a little apprehensive about the mobile repair thing, but it was surprisingly very well put together and completely legit. I had been looking for a mechanic that I could use for my vehicles and have been disappointed with many different shops. I will use Hines going forward and will recommend them as well. Great job!

This was a great experience. He showed up very professionally. Assessment of the problem took 15 mins. We agreed on a time, and he called once he was on his way. Took him 1 hour to complete the work. My car runs great. I strongly recommend him to anyone and everyone. Good vibes and energy. A+ experience all the way around

Aarons overall business was a 5/5 for me!I travel all across the country & that was by far one of the best customer services I have experienced considering time, weather conditions, & difficulty of the task. Aaron arrived around the time I said he will show.My serpentine belt broke & had to get a new air compressor replaced. I called Aaron around 4pm & he comes before 6pm. Between 6pm-11:30pm Aaron figures out my car problem, calls around for parts, drives around to get parts (dropping me off at bar to get a bite to eat), and working on truck. The most impressive thing of it all is Aaron was doing this in a windy 15-20 degree wet & rainy weather. He let me wait in his heated warm car until he finished.I really appreciated meeting Aaron that day. He s a good guy & I d recommend his services to anybody. Mr. Aaron made me a promise and he delivered. I had an issue w my brake lines and he was able to fix it within 2 business days. He constantly communicated w me any issues and delays. He promised certain date to be ready and my car was personally deliver by him. "Wow" factor. I will def go back w him for my personal vehicle needs and highly recommend him. Truly professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!SUPER QUICK AND EFFICIENT SERVICE.I was in desperate need of a mechanic as my car was unable to start due to a broken serpentine belt, which Aaron was able to fix quickly and efficiently. I found his business on Google as I was in urgent need to get my car fixed, gave a call and got all my questions answered. Aaron was so great! His customer service skills are amazing!! He really cares about people and helping them get their vehicle fixed!! He replaced my O2 sensor on my Honda Accord. He gave me a great deal compared to other places I called for estimates! I will definitely be using him going forward for any work that needs to be done on my car no question about it! Amazing, attentive and affordable service. We travel extensively and having mechanical problems on the road is very challenging. It is never easy to find an available mechanic or a Ford dealership service department to fit you in on the fly. We felt confident in the ability of the Hines mechanic to diagnose and make the repair, which he did in record time. He was extremely professional and prompt, there were no hidden fees and did we mention affordable?! It's so refreshing and rare to find first class auto repair. You will not regret giving them your business.
