Beautiful facility! They provide no-pressure sales and respect both purchasing parties regardless of age or gender. I especially appreciated being able to review documents via tv monitor - very high tech and easy. Michael K. is very knowledgeable and professional and really took his time with my husband and me. I would highly recommend!

I was very impressed with the way we were treated at Wickstrom Lincoln in Barrington. Manny Avila was the salesman that answered tons of questions and patiently dealt with a couple different visits and never made me feel pressured. Financing was handled professionally and actually within a shorter timeframe than other cars I have purchased. My purchase was painless and left me feeling so happy! She is gorgeous!

When it came time to purchase a different vehicle, Wickstrom was our first choice! We purchased our last 2 vehicles from this wonderful dealership! We were very fortunate to work with Alex Lopez. Alex not only is very professional, he is knowledgeable and easy going. He did an extremely thorough job of explaining the features of the Ford Escape that we bought. I recently bought a Ford Bronco from the Wickstrom team and they were exceptional. I went in on a Saturday for a test drive, and had no intention to buy the Bronco, but I was so impressed with the car I started considering purchasing it. There was no pressure from Wickstrom at all, in fact, they let me spend time in the vehicle over the weekend so I could discuss it with my wife. I ended up purchasing the Bronco and everything went quick and easy just like they said it would. I was in and out of the dealership in 10 minutes. It s easily the best car buying experience I ve had. They had the car washed, tire shined, and waiting for me in the warm service bay. Alex then helped me get set up on the Ford app and off I went in the car only to look down and see that they had even filled up my tank to full from the gas I burned over the weekend. Wickstrom is a top notch dealer that operates in full transparency and makes the car buying experience pleasant and easy.

Chris Krason and everyone we worked with at Wickstrom did a fantastic job assisting us with the purchase of our new vehicle. The process was extremely smooth and there was hardly any downtime for financing My husband and I were able to spend an entire afternoon enjoying a fun new ride rather than sitting in a dealership waiting for paperwork. I also appreciated Chris walking me through the technical aspects of the vehicle and showing me how to customize each screen and set my preferences. It made the adjustment much smoother. I would certainly recommend them.

Admittedly this dealership is out of my way, 40 minute drive, but well worth it. Had fun working with AJ and would recommend you asking for him if you are planning on purchasing from here.They've got an almost fully digital experience and if done right closing can probably be completed in an hour or so.Definitely my first choice when next vehicle need surfaces.

I worked with Michael Kajdanowski back in October of 2023 when my lease was up on my 2020 Lincoln Corsair. He was very responsive to my questions and concerns and made leasing my 2023 Nautilus a very pleasant experience. And he did all of this just a couple of days before he got married! If you are in the market for a Lincoln at Wickstrom I highly recommend asking for Micheal. You won t be disappointed!

We purchased a Ford Explorer from a different dealer about 18m ago. It was a factory reconditioned vehicle which we were assured had completely resolved the issue. Wickstrom were the nearest dealer to us and when we identified an issue with the paint we were initially pleased with the support provided. Since then, this vehicle seems to have had perpetual small quality issues (seat cover not fitted correctly, window switch covers had the silver coating peel off and other similar type issues).However, although I have had the vehicle serviced only at Wickstrom since then, I have subsequently found that one of the gas bonnet struts had a fitting broken (presumably by them as it was not broken when the car was purchased and they have been the only service centre to open the bonnet). The wing mirror has also lost its settings and has to be reset every time we get into the vehicle.More importantly, the rear camera has an intermittent fault that has affected the whole series of this vehicle and the manufacturer has taken 18m to acknowledge and now find a solution that is a recall for all similar models.I took the car into Wickstrom about a month ago and Mark booked a service call but did not provide any clarification on what they proposed to do or cost.As such, my wife took our car into the dealership today and was treated like an idiot as well as charged $189 for a diagnostic checkup for a known problem that has been a problem well before our warranty period passed.I wish to warn other owners that if you happen to purchase a dud vehicle, then Wickstrom will use the opportunity to charge you at every opportunity and let you know after they do the work rather than give you the option. Rather unsurprisingly, the wing mirror issue is now worse since they ran their diagnostics than before they did (it now happens with all the seat positions rather than just the one that was previously affected!)I for one will never use them again!!

Buying a car can be an overwhelming experience. Nick, Robinson & Kelsey in our opinion create the best experience in completing a purchase and a personal touch that is lost in the car buying experience in todays world. We have worked with Wickstrom for over a decade and will continue to be a loyal customers for buying new vehicles and servicing our existing ones!If you are in the market for a car this should be the first dealership to call or at the very least a second opinion on a major purchase. I switched gears to Lincoln from my 190K mile Denali XL, eyeing a step up in luxury to my 2019 Navigator L, but Wickstrom Ford s service actually took me for the ride. Mark, my service coordinator, set the tone with his patronizing advice saying, "Well if you would've just done what you needed to do, this wouldn't be such a problem." Thanks Mark for setting the tone!After growing tired of playing a fun game of phone tag with their service supervisor, I called corporate letting them know of my experience. They were clearly surprised by my ordeal.The real kicker came seven months later and adding a mere 40K highway miles, the timing chain jumped and wrecked the engine for a $16,000 repair bill. The Navigator was slightly overpower train by a few thousand miles, my bad. But why is a 75K mile (40k being all highway I drove), 5 year old car blowing an engine?! Even the mechanic said it was early for this problem to arise.Your sentence is almost there, but it could use a slight rearrangement for smoother flow and clarity. Here's a refined version:Now, I say adieu to my champagne problem, bidding farewell to Lincoln. Parting is such sweet sorrow, yet come tomorrow, I reunite with my true love: the Escalade.

From the moment my friend and I walked into Wickstrom Ford, Alex Lopez took away any tension that came with car buying. He started with an introduction to the facilities; giving us a tour and offering refreshments. We then went into the showroom and thereafter he asked what brought us in.The knowledge this young man had of the vehicles of interest- my lovely Bronco Sport, was quite impressive. I wanted to make sure this vehicle was the one for me and so left without making the purchase; sure a manager came in asked what it would take to make the purchase then and now-I was just not ready. There was no pressure to buy, no constant emails nor calls; a check-up email of course, nothing more.After a week of phone calls and visits to two other dealerships, there was no comparison! I live in the city and was visiting in Barrington and so figured what the heck let me just check out the inventory. Well, I (my brother and I) drove 40 miles back to Wickstrom. There was Alex and his warm smile. I also have to add that everyone from Nick who took care of the paperwork to Rob-the man of the year in my book (he gave me the deal of the century so to speak) made my purchase experience one to remember!Thanks fellas

My car buying experience at Wickstrom Ford, Barrington Ill.On 3-18-2024, I started looking for a small pickup truck that would fit in a small parking space in my condo's underground garage. I chose two vehicles to look at. First choice was Ford Maverick, the second distant choice Hyundai Santa Cruz. I soon found out that Maverick became the elusive Leprechaun. I visited 7-8 dealers in N-NE Ill. All but a couple wanted down payments to search for one or tried to sell me units that were in transit for $1000-$2000 over MSRP. Some units were LOADED with accessories or dealer added items like Scotch Guard for seats. Special paint protection packages etc. On 3-21 I was ready to give up on Maverick and started my search for Santa Cruz, when I came upon Wickstrom website. I noticed they had several XLT and Lariat Mavericks coming in. One caught my attention, a base Lariat with only one added accessory that I needed, a 4k tow package. I drove to the dealership and was met at the door by Alex Lopez. He was very responsive, answered all my questions in a casual business-like atmosphere with no games. I was concerned about the date of vehicle arrival, Alex called Todd Prestage who informed me that the car was being transported from the railyard to the dealership as we spoke and would be ready 3-23. After I reviewed all paperwork, found no extra fees etc,and received slightly lower than expected but fair trade allowance, all 3 of us SHOOK HANDS on the deal, with no deposit or hold money etc. On 3-24 I arrived at Noon. Together with Alex inspected the car, he also helped me set up "Ford Pass" etc. Total paperwork for taxes and plates took under 1/2 hr. I handed the finance manager a cashier's check. After hand shakes at 12:45 PM I was on my way home. Next morning I received a follow up phone call from Alex asking if he could do anything else for me. I also received a text message from the owner of Wickstrom thanking me for my business.I would like to thank Alex Lopez and Todd Prestage for a great new car buying experience.I would hope that management from Ford Motor Company read these reviews and give great sales performers like Alex Lopez recognition or at least a pat on the back for a job well done. In today's work world exceptional Sales Service is hard to find. This was a fantastic on a hand shake buying experience for me and my 94 year old mother who came along.Thanks Wickstrom and Alex Lopez.Andrew (Deacon).

Manny is the best at this location. He helped me with getting my new Bronco and made sure I could get the color I wanted too. This was my 1st cat buying experience ever and I was very appreciative of the flexibility and service provided by Alex and this dealership. I bought a used Lincoln avaitor and it has been a great vehicle for me. I live in N Indiana and took a train up to see them where they accommodated and picked me up from the station. They were well prepared and had my paperwork filled in within 30 minutes or so and I was able to make the 3+hr drive back shortly after. Thanks to everyone involved and looking forward to enjoying this new ride!

2018 mustang 5.0 with 60,000miles.The neighbor kid DROVE THE CAR into to the dealer when it started running rough. The service department quoted a motor replacement! Stated the crankshaft broke (engines don't run if crank is broken). Wanted $2600 if we wanted them to tear down engine to verify it. The car was towed back to the house. We ran faults and found all cylinders on bank 1 had logged misfire. Replaced the vanos actuator and camshaft sensors for bank 1. Cleared faults and engine runs fine. Shady service practice gives good technicians a bad reputation.

This is by far the best Ford dealership I have ever gone too. Even though, I was charged ADM (Additional dealer markup) for my Hot Pepper Metallic Ford Bronco Badlands, I was still very satisfied and I understand why Broncos are going for over MSRP right now, especially if you want one right away and don t want to wait.I d like to give a special shoutout to my salesman Robinson Logue for guiding me through the buying process. He was very comfortable to deal with and helped me learn how to do the soft top.Additional shoutouts to Todd Prestage, Kelsey Vanderleest, and Rob Palazzo for making me feel at home while completing my buying experience.
