The before and after was absolutely stunning!(CHECK THE PHOTOS BELOW) The Nardo gray paint match was right on the money. Marty and Dave are the best when it comes to customer service making sure I m comfortable and keeping me up to date with the whole progress of the repair. The labor cost is justified by there exceptional quality. 100% go to these guys for any work that needs to be done.

Couldn't have been happier with the Body Shop of Barrington. My Mercedes had many scratches after surviving a big move and some of the scratches were deep. I thought it would be thousands to repaint. David did an impeccable buff job with a few small paint touch ups. It looked like a new car when we picked it up! Super reasonable price. I highly recommend these guys; honest and talented!

I scratched the passenger side of my car while pulling into my garage and it was super noticeable. They fixed my car and it looks brand new!! The people who work here are amazing and so honest. My family and I have been bringing our cars here for over 20 years. There is not another Body shop or detail shop I trust to touch my cars. This is a family owned business model and they cut the BS. My Audi needed the custom honeycomb grill installed and needed the camera fixed to it, they were able to custom fit the camera and successfully install the grill and it came our perfect.

Brought my mothers car there for bodywork/paint on the rear bumper. They fixed that well enough but the front bumper and quarter panel were severely scratched while the car was in their possession. Unfortunately my mother did not look the car over carefully enough when she picked it up. Now the shop is saying the damage was there when she dropped it off. Definitely not the case as I saw it the day before she dropped it off and that damage was not there. They only put some touch up paint over the scratches after she brought it back and complained. I got rear ended and these guys completely repaired and replaced my lift gate and bumper, and they even caught some other damage that was missed in the initial inspection and fixed that as well! My car came out looking better than when it went in, they matched the paint colors and got brand new/certified used parts for my car. Would absolutely recommend!!! Very professional as well.

Such and awesome shop! I came here looking for a quote to work on a minor body work on my old Nissan Altima 2000. Marty one of the service engineers came out to look at my vehicle to give me a quote and he looks at it and recommends few things and then went to the shop to grab another guy and he comes out with his tools and straightens out the frame a bit and gets me going and I don't even need to do any work anymore.Marty and his body shop person were friendly throughout and saved me a tons of moneey. This is a great family owned company! They really care about their customers needs and their own business. It shows from the first time I walked in to when they finished and I picked up my truck. I took my Pilot here last year as well as my Subaru this year. They are a little tucked away, but very worth it. I picked it because of high ratings on Google and am glad I did. They partner with a local car rental and make everything easy. They do beautiful work and clearly care about it doing it well. I did have some concerns along with way, which they addressed in a friendly, serious, and thorough manner. Highly recommended!

Very professional and highly trained staff. Quick service and probably one of the few places who were referred by the dealerships themselves since they do the work as per factory specs.Amazing customer service , a bit on the pricier end , but well worth the money.

The only place I trust for my car. With 6 driving kids in the house, we've been here before! They always are fair, reasonable, honest and the service and repairs are excellent. Not too long ago I went in to see if they could fix a dumb thing I did with my seatbelt (clicked it in but wrapped it around the back so my dog could lay on the seat without it dinging or getting in her way). It got stuck. Took it to the dealer and they scratched their heads and said it could take all day...Took it here and they fixed it for me in less than 10 minutes on the house.They are professional, friendly and know what they're doing. Highly recommend. Thank you all!

Upon my 1st visit I was provided a written estimate within 10 minutes. After bringing my car in for repair it was done on time for exactly the cost estimated, couldn't be happier. I initially came to the shop because there are few registered Volvo repair shops, but I was so impressed with the service I would bring all my cars here in the future for any repair.

Extremely disappointed. Had work done at the body shop who came HIGHLY recommended along with incredible reviews online. Sadly, not only did the paint job need to be done twice (because they messed it up the first time) but once finished a second time, there are now cracks in the paint near the tail light and over-spray on the right rear tail light. This in addition to the fact that I had to purchase another badge emblem because they put mine on completely crooked the first time. I would imagine if I went back there and told them, they may/may not repaint for the 3rd time, however, after having the job done twice and still not being done right, I'm fearful that they will mess up something worse. Think twice before you go to the body shop.

The Body Shop of Barrington repaired my Mercedes s550 coupe after damage caused by an accident, as well as road debris. They provided excellent customer service and a professional repair. This place is a Hidden Gem, took our 2017 Honda CRV and was fixed Perfectly and months after went to ask a question and they went above and beyond. Thank you Marty and I believe her name is Candice the front desk lady. Wish their were more businesses that treat people like you guys do. THANKS AGAIN, MANY BLESSINGS AND PROSPERITY!!!

I met the lovely staff at The Body Shop of Barrington a month after having bought myself a rare BMW 435i-series. A sheet of metal flew up from underneath a vehicle infront of mine and caused approximately $1,455.00 worth of damages in a short 5 seconds (see photos below).Naturally, I found myself livid and bewildered. Having just purchased the vehicle I was extremely reluctant and hesitant in choosing the "right" body shop to perform the necessary repairs. I dedicated a LOT of time and energy in not only researching what others have had to say but also physically visiting every shop I was considering. At the end of the week I had managed to research, visit, and have quotes done at 5-6 various body shops. As you can imagine I was rather perplexed. Each one "sounded" good in their promises to get it all back to like new condition in no time.The reason I choose The Body Shop of Barrington over all the others were a few key things that I had not noticed/felt with any of the other businesses I spoke/met with.1. Customer Service: From the receptionists desk, the estimation process, and to fulfilling my claim The Body Shop of Barrington was 10 out of 5 stars.2. Questions Answered, Concerns Addressed: My main concerns and questions were on the basis that this was a near brand new vehicle and I did not want any type of "monkey business" being done to the vehicle. David, the young gentleman who worked on my car and over saw the repair process was extremely considerate, dilligent, and acknowledged to the fullest every single one of my concerns. Furthermore, after leaving the shop (when new questions popped into my head) David made sure to make himself available to me for any further queries. When I left a voicemail it was than one hour in passing before he had made sure to return my phone call to address my question.3. Work Quality: The results speak for themselves (see below), the method used for repair was to repaint the hood of the vehicle, repaint the driver side fender, and to use a type of plastic moldable epoxy mixture to reshape, fill, and repair the damages and gouges to the front bumper. Although I honestly had my reservations about using this process, David assured me that it is common practice and would also help in reducing the tremendous cost damages that the incident incurred. The day of pick up the car looked, dare I say it, better than the day I bought it. David and his team of body work guys did such a stellar job that I was shocked.4. Aftercare: David took it a step further by letting me know that the work would be warrantied for as long as I own my car. If any issues were to arise to simply contact the shop and it would be taken care of. Approximately 30 or so days later I got a letter from The Body Shop of Barrington to come in for a buff and shine treatment (to work out any anomalies in the paint and to properly be able to clean and wax the painted surfaces).All in all my experience was excellent. As a business owner myself, I know our business strives for superb and outstanding customer service - The Body Shop of Barrington has this tried and true method of approaching customers down . I have such confidence in The Body Shop of Barrington that I plan to start a complete restoration project with David on a imported Honda Beat from 1991 in the near future.Hands down the BEST body shop in northern Illinois.I would certainly refer them to family and friends without a second thought.THANK YOU !

This is a shop to avoid.First of all, Motor Werks uses their services, so that should have been my first warning.When I received an estimate for rear bumper repair for my vehicle, the estimate was not explained to me. This was the first time, dealing with any automotive repair facility, that an estimate was not explained to me. It was simply handed to be and the total was stated.The bumper repair is unsatisfactory. The paint has many many bubbles and imperfections, as though it was not prepped and painted properly. The holes for my trunk opening button and parking sensors are not properly aligned. The bumper fitment has vast panel gaps as well.The side reflector is falling off. The trunk release button was installed upside down. The incorrect metallic paint was used. Unbelievable how poorly my car was repaired.Overall, an extremely poor repair for my vehicle. It is as though very little thought and care was provided with the repair. Presumably when repairing my car, their motto was "that'll do".My beautiful car looks awful. :(

I went there to get my rear bumper fixed for the Honda civic. They did a perfect job doing it, they also vacuumed inside my car and polished my car which I didn't expect them to do. Great customer service and friendly employees. Thanks guys
