I made an appointment to have my Toyota tinted here. This was my first time having a vehicle tinted at auto image. However, I have had three other vehicles tinted besides this one, and by far this was the best tint job that I have received. He has good staff who has been tinting windows for over a decade. You can tell they take pride in their work and are a wealth of information when it comes to detailing paint, protection, film, ceramic coating and tints. Jeff, the owner is very thorough in his work and made it a very quick and easy experience compared to the last couple of vehicles I ve had done elsewhere. If I could give em 10 stars I would!

Came in to get my Tesla tinted and they did a great job! My car was dirty and they cleaned it up free of charge! Great people to work with. I referred them to two people and they also loved the work!

Jeff and his team are fantastic to work with! I have now brought 3 cars there for ceramic coating and window tints and won t bring future cars anywhere else! They take pride in their work and care for your vehicle while they have it. Communication, quality, explanation, and honesty from Auto Image is second to none! Customer service still prevails!On my brand new 2023 F-150 that I brought in for tints and ceramic coating check, Auto Image actual gave my truck the new car shine that the dealership was lack luster on. They also found a defect in my window glass and took the time to show and explain how it wasn t them or the tint. After getting the window fixed, Jeff was most accommodating with scheduling the remaining tint.Services: Auto detailing, Window tinting

Love these guys. They recently tinted my back window after I got it replaced. Perfect quality work. Super awesome guys to talk to and do business with. They did 2 of my buddies cars last year and still looks great to this day. Only tint shop I will bring my cars to. Great work guys, awesome customer service. Very satisfied

I drove down from Lake Geneva Wisconsin since they had so many 5-star reviews. Amazing work, super clean detail and nice job on the window tint for our front windows. Highly recommend and will be back with my wife s Jeep Wrangler soon. 5-star!!

This review is long overdue. I first used Auto Image in 2012 on my first Cadillac. Jeff and his team did a great job. So I used them again in 2016 on my second Cadillac. Again in 2020 on my third and this year on my 4th. This shop is perfection. I will only take my vehicles here for any tint or detail work. The attention they devote to each job they take in is next level; literally white glove service. Jeff even offered to let me leave my car until this curing process was finished. Check it out, there are alot of tint shops, there are alot of detail shops, places where you can get your car wrapped or PPF'd, but this shop takes the cake. If you pull up to a place and they have Ferrari and Porsche sitting in the bays, they're doing something right. Jeff stands by his guys' work and will revisit any imperfections. Top notch work has brought me back over the past decade and I will continue to use this shop exclusively to keep my rides looking awesome. Thanks Auto Image, can't wait for my ceramic coat this spring!

I heard about Auto Image from the Xpel website and after reading all the positive reviews I knew I had to come here. I had the privilege of working with Kevin, Victor, Rich and Caitlin and they did a great job with the Xpel PPF wrap (full stealth), window tint (20% front and 55% on the windshield), and Xpel ceramic coating. I highly recommend this small business for your automotive restoration/enhancement needs and it was well worth the 9 hour round-trip commute.Services: Auto detailing, Window tinting, Paint repair

I bought my car from MotorWerks and this is the shop that they recommended to do full detailing on my car before delivery. They did full car paint protection film, ceramic coating, and wheels. Simply put, they went above and beyond; even my carbon fiber intake and grille slats were covered with film (he had to tell me, I couldn t tell!). Recommend them without hesitation.

This is definitely the place to go to for car window tinting, paint protection film (PPF), and detailing. I took my new car there recently. Their professionalism, level of attention to detail, and quality of work is unsurpassed. I've had my car windows tinted for 30+ years and PPF on cars for 15+ years, and can attest to their work. Moreover, they explain all the work done completely and prices are very reasonable. Thank you guys!!!

Jeff and his guys are the real deal. I live in the city but drove out to Barrington to have them do full PPF and tint on my Model Y. From our very first interaction through to final delivery all of my questions and concerns were addressed. Jeff even asked if I could bring the car back in about 30 days after delivery to verify all of their work has settled in properly. You can tell these guys really love what they do and put a ton of pride in their work. I've come here a good amount of times over the past 5 years to get window tints and exterior details done on 2 seperate cars.My most recent visit this week was to get my 2018 Golf R tinted and also change the color of my roof to gloss black using STEK paint protection film.To say Jeff and his team are masters at their craft would be an understatement. Unbelievable level of customer service matched with perfect workmanship with every visit. Jeff will take all the time you need to guide you through your exterior/interior needs and options down to every tiny detail.This is NOT your run of the mill "get it done cheap shop using cheap materials." Jeff takes pride in his work, skills and team to get the job done the right way and you will get what you pay for. Always worth it and I dont trust any other detailing shop more than Auto Image.

GREAT JOB! They did not disappoint. They actually exceeded my expectation AGAIN. Top notch customer service - from the initial call, to the consultation, to the drop off and pick up. Perfect execution of the window tint installation for my C300. This is the 4th car tinted for my family. I can t say enough good things about them. Always a positive experience. Got my Model Y wrapped with EXPEL Stealth at this place. Everyone was super friendly and explained the entire process. The owner (Jeff) explained the pricing and gave good recommendations. I would recommend this place to anyone that's looking to get their Tesla wrapped and Tinted.

Was lucky to come across Auto Image while searching for a place to provide paint protection services for my new car (paint protection film and ceramic coating). Jeff (owner) spent a lot of time on the phone answering all my questions. When I brought the car in Jeff and his staff were very thorough in examining the car and going over everything that would be done. I never felt rushed and always felt like I was being treated as a valued customer. Most importantly, I felt my car was in good hands and I was right. The finished car looked beautiful, and again, Jeff took a lot of time out of his personal schedule to make sure I was a happy customer. Bottom line: I was treated very well, and great work was performed by Jeff's highly skilled staff at a fair price. I look forward to bringing future cars back to Auto Image, and recommend you do as well!

Jeff is a great guy and his team is amazing. He is very thorough in explaining what needs to be done and will walk you through the whole process. The shop has the Xpel XR Plus film which is one of the best nanoceramic heat rejecting tints in the market. They gave my car a full carwash and even vacuumed the interior whereas other shops only wash your windows before applying the tints. I also brought a screen protector which I have not installed yet (I d rather get it done professionally), requested for it to be applied and they did not charge me. Excellent customer service and very accommodating. All warranty information is documented and provided in a pamphlet. You will never leave with unanswered questions. I drove an hour to get to this place and it was well worth it. Highly recommended hands down!

I waited a few weeks to post my review to see if I had any problems with my tint. I am very happy to say I did not. They did an awesome job on my dream Jeep. The owner and staff are very friendly. The indoor and outdoor waiting areas are comfortable and clean. I would absolutely recommend Auto Image for anyone that needs tint or detailing.

I ordered a 3M Pro PPF for our Tesla Model Y to install it myself. However, I felt that professional installers should do it. I received the best and very reasonable offer from Jeff of Auto Image. What a great experience! Honest and Top Customer Service You Can Expect! Wow, I'm really glad I choose their service. Highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you Jeff!

Have had two vehicles tinted and one very dirty Jeep detailed here. They did an amazing job, and where incredibly detailed with their work. They where able to clean up areas of the Jeep that others punted on. Jeff and the team were also incredibly nice and easy to deal with, truly dedicated to making sure you are happy.I m incredibly picky and detailed with my cars and couldn t be happier with how the cars turned out.Would highly recommend!

Jeff and his team at Auto Image are absolute pros. They put a ceramic window tint on my BMW. Not only does the car look better, but cutting down on the light coming into the car means I don't need to use as much AC; which means I get more range! It was easy to make my appointment, pick out the shade % that I wanted, Drop off the car, and they even stuck around after hours for me to pick it up (Barrington traffic at 6 pm is brutal). Used Jeff's services before for 3 cars and was really happy. Wanted to have the PPF applied to the fourth car. Called several weeks in advance to schedule an appointment. Was promised a quote - never came. Had to leave messages twice last week trying to confirm an appointment. When Jeff called back he did not remember anything and he was "rebuilding" his computer. Still no quote. Was planning to drop off the vehicle on Sunday and was told by Jeff to call and text his cell phone when done. Texted and called in advance - no response. ("I did not have my phone on me"). At the end turned around and drove home. No "sorry" even once. Would not recommend using his services.Service: Window tinting

My experience at Auto Image couldn't have been better. Jeff and Kevin have a super fine attention to detail. I was only home for a short amount of time and asked that they coat my car with Gtechniq's Crystal Serum Ultra. My paint wasn't in the best shape to begin with, but Kevin ensured it came out looking better than it had ever looked before. I'm so happy that my car is now protected for up to 9 years. Will definitely be recommending friends & family to these guys and I will be sure to bring any future cars of mine here as well.

Jeff and team did an awesome job on my 2019 Tesla Model 3. I know I wanted some protection and wanted to keep the car looking new, but really wasn't sure what I wanted. Jeff took the time to walk me through all the different products (PPF, coatings, tinting, etc.). He asked great questions and made sure he was giving me the best solution for me. I was referred by a co-worker and he suggested that car detailing, etc. is more about the installers than the products and he was right. These guys care about making cars look great and are protected from the elements. Would recommend Auto Image to anyone and I do, as many ask me how I keep my car looking so great! [Bonus - They have a Tesla Wall charger, so my car was all charged up when I arrived!]

I have been coming here for couple years now. Mainly to get my windows tinted. Jeff has allways been professional and a real down to earth guy when it comes to customer service. Decided to bring my charger back for a engine bay and exterior detail. Wow kevin did a amazing job with the paint and the wheels. Took them off and even cleaned them from the inside. I'll be back with my jeep. Thanks again guys amazing work!!!

I brought my 2015 Audi A5 coupe in for tinted windows and then later used their dent wizard. They did an absolutely amazing job. It is a very professional company that does very high-end work. I don't know about you but lately, especially post-Covid, I've been having trouble finding good, qualified technicians that take pride in their work. I don't know where they've gone but rest assured there are still some left; like the team at Auto Image, my go-to detail shop. They've done both ceramic coatings and clear film coatings on three of my cars and these guys are artists. My latest vehicle is black and I just picked it up-the paint looks like it's 3" deep! They corrected it, applied clear film on the front clip, rear of the mirrors and the door sills (so my dogs wouldn't scratch the paint getting in and out) and charged a little over half of what my selling dealer quoted me. Jeff, the owner, has over 30 years experience. Kevin, his main-man, is a detailing magician. The whole team is great at what they do and enjoy doing it and it shows. Thanks to everyone at Auto Image for demonstrating that there are still places out there doing consistently excellent work!
