Was looking for a trusted mechanic shop and found one. One I can truly trust with what they say like pricing and work quality is beyond anyone else. Not to mention they found out the work my truck got in the past from a previous mechanic shop was done incorrectly. They fixed everything and made my truck great again!! They re my new trusted mechanics now and I ll recommend anyone to see them. They really care about their name and that means a lot cuz most don t anymore. You won t be disappointed

Had 4 tires done with them. Reasonable price, great service, great communication and very happy with the results. Was so thrilled to find them. I'm actually going back in a few days for more work to be done. Fingers crossed. I been looking for a new mechanic to build a relationship with and think I found them.

This is hands down the best shop in the area and I could not be happier to take my vehicles there! Colin and the staff are extremely professional and honest which is hard to find especially in this area. Thanks for always taking care of us, it is always appreciated!

Updated: 29 Mar 2024 - Same great service, same great price. Had ball joints, tires and sensors, alignment, oil change, and belts/pulleys replaced on Expedition. Quality job. I'll be back again.Updated: 24 Mar 2023 - Same sentiment as my original reviewOriginal Post: I've been a very happy customer for years now. One of the few places that can do wheel alignments. They can provide any service from larger repairs all the way to simple oil changes. The quality of their work is superior and I would highly recommend them to anyone. On my recommendation my friend became a customer and he agreed with my assessment of the quality. They have very competitive pricing. They won't try to upsell you something you don't need. Appointments are recommended the building is on the first floor.

I discovered A& N through Google search and oh man am I happy I did. I've had only incredible and exceptional service. This is the only place I'll take my cars. Colin has been awesome to work with. I bring both of our cars here and he s able to quickly diagnose and solve issues without selling additional services you don t need.After having a horrible time with the mechanics at Motorwerks (see my other review), Colin and his team fixed my car without causing further damage and performing unnecessary work. They re the most ethical mechanic shop I ve been to and hope they will continue to be our trusted mechanic for years to come!

Took in my Audi for an alignment and the car drives perfect! Most impressive is the steering wheel was centered. All this was hassel free, took about an hour and got out at a very fair price. Go there for your car repairs.

Simply the best auto repair shop in the Barrington area!We've been taking our vehicles there for years. In a few cases, I thought the repair bill would be pricey, only to be surprised by their response. One time, we had what we thought was a front-end issue with our Suburban. When they called with the verdict I was told we simply had the vehicle in 4 wheel drive. Someone else could have hosed us with a costly unnecessary fix. They didn't. Bottomline, Collin and Nick are honest, hard working and very good mechanics. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone in search of a great local auto repair shop. They are simply the best!!!

Spent $800 "fixing" a front end suspension rattle at my Chicago shop and it didn't work. Told them that replacing those parts did not fix the rattle. They said replacing another $400 of parts would definitely do it. I took the car to Nick and he put it on the lift and looked around for a minute, and saw some dust somewhere that indicated the brake housing was loose, and asked me a question or two about the history of the problem. Tightened up the brake spindles (or something) and that was that. Zero dollars in parts! Instead of throwing parts at the problem, Nick made some keen observations and used his head instead of my checkbook. Thanks, Nick!
