I recently took my car to this auto-shop for some much-needed maintenance and was extremely impressed with the service I received. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure my car was running smoothly. They were also very transparent about the work they were doing and the costs involved, which made me feel comfortable and in control. The final result was a car that runs like new and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this auto-shop to anyone in need of car repairs or maintenance. I got my brakes done by them in March. To only find out that my brakes weren't done properly and were needing to be redone in October. Will not be returning.

went in for a simple exhaust delete, came out with my belonging missing. make sure to take out anything valuable before giving up your car..that s if you still want to do business with them would rate - 1000 stars if i could.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Was in and out within 20 minutes. Only issue I have is that the guy who fixed my car was talking to me in Spanish and told me the price it would be to get a new part and the price it would be to just fix the part. I told him I only understood a little bit of Spanish so he got the receptionist to translate, except when she translated she added 20 more dollars to the cost. I called her out because I understood the numbers in Spanish. All in all, the workers were quick and efficient and the receptionist was trying to scam me. Would not trust her again. 10 months ago I talked to the supervisor for replacing my car's engine. We agreed on a price, I dropped the car and the engine the following a week. For the next six months, Julio who is the supervisor, kept promising me week after week that work would be done and car would be ready. Finally by the end of April, he said the engine was done. I went to pick up the car but it wouldn't start. He charged me an additional $400 for labor in spite of me having to spend $600 in parts and still the car wouldn't run. I had to transfer the car to a different shop to get it fixed and noticed there were scratches and dents on the car that weren't there before. Velazquez still had kept the old engine and other car components at their shop which I went to pick up today and my things were gone, they gave them away to the junk yard. I asked for the owner's information to place a complaint and they wouldn't share that with me. I have no other choice than to take this to court.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Fellow car enthusiasts stay away from this shop, no one there holds any sort of true automotive knowledge. You will be disappointed with their work ! Be warned, if you don't know about cars they will take advantage of you price wise... These people will fix without pride and purposely damage other car componentsTake your business elsewhere !Service: Exhaust

My experience was truly an experience to say the least! I didn t get the great performance that I heard about , but I will say they know mufflers and catalytic converters, anything else I would look else where!

Scams but my Chicago senses told me they were when I walked in!! Told me I needed lower control arms, job would be 800.00. I wanted to leap over the counter right at the guy, because I can tell he has been scamming the area for a long time. Didn t know I had a warranty on my car and that I was just there to get diagnosed. Took my car to the dealer!!! And guess what? yes this place is a big lie word of advice valasquez stop scamming before someone runs up in your shop Service: Steering & suspension repair

They are well priced and honest, the one guy there actually told me I could fix my car problem myself for alot cheaper and then told me how to do it. Great service and friendly atmosphere!!!

First of all there timings are 8AM to 5PM I got there little before 8AM no one showed up till 8.26AM than two guys went inside started bringing stuff out for display like muffler tips than they started bringing out cars they left overnight on lifts after that cleanup time and poor me waiting there for another 35 minutes finally the guy shows up and asks me what I need told him need muffler repaired he was not a pleasant guy to deal with and of course he was constantly texting while taking to me GREAT never going back there again and did not put my exhaust pipe tip back probably gonna sell to someoneService: Exhaust

Honest, good guys with fast service. Best shop around for muffler and exhaust work. $240 for my Jeep to have a new muffler and pipes. Be aware they are CASH ONLY.

Went there 3 times for a loud noise coming form car. Told me the fix 3 times snd wanted cash. Did not fix problem but wanted more cash. Elina and manager. Did not need a new wheel bearing to fix noise

Don t trust this people they fix one part and damage another one to charge you more money , no recommended my next step is to file a lawsuit claim not choice, very bad place to take you car don t trust this place.

Me and my group of friends have been going to this velasquez for years for various work, custom exhausts, brakes, etc. We always leave happy and if there ever is an issue they always make it right. I have no problem driving 40 minutes to this location, specifically because of the great workmanship and the kind employees. Im always treated like family at velasquez!

Excellent work got me rite in and gave me a good price and told me exactly what needed to be repaired without having to come back with add on. Definitely recommend these guys

If i could give 0 starts i would. I had to go back so they can fix on of the leaks i had that they forgot to do the first time then when reversing out their lift they scratched my side skirt and said it was there already when we clearly heard it scratch. Dont go here at all.

Open at 8 I got there at 9:30 whole shop took 1 hour break at 10 finished around 12:45 then left a spark plug in the hood. And yes my parts were delivered so that wasn't the hold up

Extremely fast service. Came in, quick check, on-the-spot estimate, out in about 30 minutes. Flex joint cut out and replaced for $100!

I took my car there and they tried to scam me. They were trying to replace parts from my car that weren t needed to be replaced and plus they over charge for everything ! DO NOT COME HERE !!!

Did the job I paid them for, picked it up fixed the next day, half or less than what the dealer wanted to charge for the same thing.
