When I first came here, they had a receptionist that was bilingual, I m assuming she no longer works here or she s on vacation or something. Instead I had to communicate with the mechanic who knows bare minimum English. I stopped by yesterday on Valentine day to check on my vehicle. I was told the total was $623. I was going to be late for dinner so I told him I would come back tomorrow and pick up my car. Today I go to pick up my car and again I was told the total was $623 by the same mechanic. I hand him my card to pay and when he runs my card instead of $623 it was charged for $823. Of course, this created an argument between us and he swore up and down that he told me $823 when in reality he he never said $823 meaning that he does not know his numbers in English and instead of admitting that he told me the wrong number he made it seem like I did not hear him correctly two days in a row. There s a $200 difference between the numbers that he told me and this is why I m writing this review. But to say the least, my car seems to be fixed and it was done in a timely manner. I suggest getting a receptionist who knows numbers in English. Thank you.

10/10 would recommend for exhaust work. My hubs had just purchased a new exhaust pipe for his truck from someone. We randomly passed by this location and decided to stop to see how much it would cost to have installed. They quoted $250 and 2 hours. It only took an hour and the quality of work is exceptional! Amazing customer service! Lobby was clean, and the employees were so nice! Thank you all again!

I've taken my car to them for several repairs and they were always fair on pricing and treated me well. They have always looked at the vehicle, then called me with the quote and I have never had to pay more than they quoted me. I've created a good relationship with them so I will be taking all my business there in the future.

I went to this shop to fix a thudding noise in my car on 7/10. They told us that it will cost me $1600 for the repair and that it will be done on 7/12. They then pushed the date to 7/13 at 10 am. It did not get done until 7/13 at 4 pm. Then once I went to pick up my car, they told me that it was going to cost $2400. I was shocked. There is no way that a miscommunication like that can occur when dealing in this business. I will not do business with this location and I recommend that you do not as well. It will just end in frustration.

They were very friendly, changed the oil pretty fast and when I asked for a read out for my check engine light that was on, they said "no problem" even though I asked at the last minute and didn't charge me for the read out. They were very professional! This will be my #1 place to go!! Thank you Velasquez Performance! I recommend them to everyone! Very trustworthy in my eyes!

We brought my son's car to have it checked. They told us that everything would be $1600 total including parts and labor. The car was done 2 days late and when we came to pick it up, they were charging is $2400. That's $800 more than what they told us. If we knew it would be $800 more, we would have taken the car somewhere else. They are a bunch of unprofessional crooks. I don't know how they could sleep at night!!!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

All three of there Lake St. Places in Aurora are awesome. Need something fixed quick, they will find a way to fix it. Short on time? They will get you in as best they can. Tho labor prices have seemed to go up in this last year, prices still reasonable. They are exhaust creative, which I like. Great personal touch. And if you want custom wheels, N. Lake st has those too.

I called the shop to see about having a custom exhaust installed to my 2009 C6 Corvette. They had stated that it would be under $200 and they had openings on 05/02/2021. I went to the shop and spoke with the receptionist where she stated that a mechanic will have to look at the car. It took 10-15min for a mechanic to come over to greet me (note there were 4 mechanics working on 1 Chevy Blazer, and 1 talking with her while she played on her cell phone). The mechanic then stated it would be $280 as it would take 2 1/2 hours to install. Stock cat-back system for the Corvette is all bolt-on, and the custom exhaust is also all bolt-on. Total time should be 30-60 minutes and under $150 for labor. He kept insisting and wanting to make sure I had all the parts in my complete enclosed kit. Was getting bad vibes from this place from the start. I will not do business with this place in the future.Service: Exhaust

I d give this place a 0. This place is horrible. did a horrible job on it. When I got my car back they literally had a half drank monster drink in my car (I don t drink monster) along with used napkins. Very unsanitary. Especially during a global pandemic. Its nice to come in and know your car can be serviced the same day. No appointment needed but the wait can be long just for them to check your vehicle. Also they don't have a set labor rate they just estimate what it will be and charge whatever the technicians says. They should have a board with labor rates per job. That will help the customer to better understand. I feel they overcharge people especially women. They want to charge me $300 to change the spark plus and wires (only) on my ford taurus even though i am providing the parts. I also went in on a Saturday i asked for a price to replace a catalyic converter they said $280 i came in today now its $420 again i have the part. I complained so they said $360 will be fine. I also notices it was very slow. Im just confused is it because im a women who doesnt know anything about cars? is there something they have that supports their rates?

Carlos is the GOAT! He fixed up my car that had previously been dead for a long time (3 years+!). He also is a man of his word. He lowered the original price, and he charged me what he said he would charge. Props to him and his team for getting the work done. These guys will fix your exhaust problems for a fraction of the cost that you'll pay at your dealership. Want to know how I know that? The Nissan Dealership sent me here, that's how. Awesome and fast Work

I took my car to this place to have my my oil pan replaced they fixed my oil pan but the oil plug that forgot to tighten and all the oil wasted out on the street and they forgot to plug back up the o2 sensor so becareful of this place work is cheap and you get what you pay for check your car once they are doneServices: Electrical repair, Engine repairServices: Electrical repair, Engine repair

I don't recommend this place for nothing in the world they are thieves, speciallly the guy Carlos if you bring a car to get fix he will mess it up, so they can charge you more money and later he will tell you that he'll buy your car because that is his bussiness, to sell cars that he damaged before to his clients.. i hope everyone can know about these scammers because that is what they are and they are so abusive with the prices .They can say they do the job only to end up messing up the car. Keep your money and don't sell the car to them stay away from these thieves.

I'm so glad that Google ask me to do this review. They did an amazing job with in about an hour replacing my muffler and a very reasonable price I couldn't be more impressed

No stuvo profesional the muchacha cajera, pedi cambio de canal en la television pero la chava dijo que ella estaba viendo su show en NetflixOmg i asked to change the channel while i was waiting for oil change, she said ummm no she's watching her Netflix show ,like really girl, u should be working and let clients have a chance while they wait... so unprofessional ugh

I've been going here for a while but never again I just checked my transmission fluid because my truck was having issues and my fluid level was bone dry,everytime I get a oil change I pay for the check and change all fluids now if they were checking my fluids I wouldn't have had to buy three quarts of transmission fluid,this place is garage.....
