Tuffy Auto has been taking great care of all of my auto maintenance needs for years. I have always been completely satisfied with their high quality work. Their staff is amazing; they are super helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They will advise customers of the best option(s) available and work to find solutions to financing and/or timing of services to fit customers' budgets. I highly recommend Tuffy Auto for their quality, work ethic, and integrity.

John and his team were awesome! My car needed some serious repairs. They kept me informed with pictures, videos, and texts and even invited us to the shop to see the issue and explain it to us in detail.

John and David were the gentlemen who helped us. I was driving down the highway when my car started making a weird sound. This place was the closest to where I was, and it was a simple in and out. They explained the most likely problem and didn't try and overcharge us. Very honest and fast workers

I went here because the truck of my car would not open.. They checked it out for free, no diagnostic costs and I appreciate that.. At the dealership they charge $219.00 for diagnostic fee and my sons stroller was in there and I struggled with carrying him around everywhere in my arms or in his car seat since I m pregnant.. I couldn t afford to pay a diagnostic fee so I m extremely grateful to them for offering complimentary services as long as it s not electrical.. The staff was extremely nice and was happy to help me.. They definitely deserve every star !!

Friendly people and amazing experience. Heading over to see family for Easter monday when we heard a gridding/scrapping sound on the highway. Found Tiffy nearby to get the car checked before anything bad could happen. John and David greeted us and took us in quickly, not much of a wait at all. Explained what the problem was and was very affordable.

I like how organized and professional the Store was , very thorough inspection of my car. I recommend Tuffy auto repair they seem to keep the customer in mind besides just helping with your vehicle.

I am so grateful to have found this specific Tuffy. My car is a huge part of my independence and Ron Martinez, Operations Manager along with John, Emma, and the skilled mechanics that worked on my car made it very safe to drive. Your willingness to go above and beyond, attention to detail, and most of all kindness has made me a forever customer.

Brought my 99 Altima in for an inspection. They very very prompt in getting me in and explaining the problems with the rusted out old exhaust system. Chris was great in explaining all the issues and gave us a fair and honest estimate. I trust his judgement. While we have not yet decided if the vehicle is worth fixing, we will definitely be back for our other vehicles.

My car was in horrible shape when I brought it into Tuffy on N Aurora street in Aurora Illinois two weeks ago. It turned out I needed an entire new power steering system. The manager Jon was very helpful and kind during the whole process. Jon and Emma contacted me every day to keep me updated on the progress of my vehicle and went above and beyond making sure I was kept in the loop about things and understood exactly what they were working on. I was very grateful for all services provided at Tuffy on N Aurora street! I will be a returning customer!

Always very friendly staff and so helpful. Not just for oil changes although I always use them. Have had other repairs done and John explained everything to me. Reasonable rates and even a 2 year warranty on the work. What more can you expect? All the staff is great. Going above and beyond.

I am surprised to see so many good reviews. But in my case the worker was extremely rude and unprofessional.One of the tire nut was stripped and he was trying to over charge by taking advantage of the situation. I went to other place they fixed it for only $15 but this greedy person tried to charge $95 for only drilling and taking out the strip nut.It s better to spend the money on other places as this guys are trying to rip off people by taking advantage of the situation.I would humble request cooperate head office to take immediate action against the worker who spoke to me on Friday around 2 pm and today also at 1pm.Date March 18th 2023.Employee name John !!!

I used to go to the Oswego tuffy since I live 3 minutes away from that location, but every time I took my car to that location, they would break something, or the parts they installed would fail or leak prematurely, and I was done spending money with them feeling like they didn t car for my cars or just weren t competent in working on European cars. I know having a European car is more expensive to maintain, I am very well aware of that, but there was just always a problem after getting something fixed related to what was fixed at that location. So the third time my axles were leaking after getting them replaced at Oswego, I decided to try this location in aurora. I m so glad I did. These guys work hard and leave your car in better condition and don t break little things like Oswego has in the past for me. Everyone there is very friendly and knowledgeable, and you won t get dirty looks from the receptionist like you will in Oswego. It s a little bit out of the way but very worth it for me. So far I ve had brake work done, spark plugs, new battery and an alignment. My beetle was good when I bought it, now it s running and driving better than ever, I don t have to worry about not getting the alignment right here or something installed incorrectly. I take my beetle here for pretty much most repairs now, I don t plan on changing shops as long as the current team is there.

I totally loved it, John was super professional and very detailed, he took his time explaining the issues my car had and as well offered me a payment plan being that am on a very tight budget.The receptionist Emma also is a wonderful lady, very friendly.I highly recommend Tuffy in Aurora Illinois on Indian Trail.Service: General repairs & maintenance

When you really need , They are there for you, Due to bad weather conditions my car lower engine cover was almost destroyed and scraping while driving. So I went to them for fix and they removed that cover and taken care about my tire pressure warnings for free of cost. They understands our concerns quickly and provide immediate solutions

I come here when needed with an older car I own and I always leave Tuffy's with my car feeling newer. Great service and the owner Rami, has been very helpful and straightforward in explaining what services I need for my car ever since my first visit. Highly recommend!

If you want 100% assurance that you're driving away with great service, ask for Frank. He's an absolute master with a wrench and he's the most honest mechanic on the planet. Whatever Frank works on is fixed right, and stays fixed.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Learned that Jason and his crew have moved on. The new owner and crew are a huge disappointment. They didn't close the air box, they broke the air in take hose, and there was oil everywhere in the engine compartment. There was also oil on the windshield, fenders, and bumper. They stole the change from vehicle. The prices jumped from $35 to $66. The worst part is that they didn't even bother to mention the things they broke. The excuse I was given for the poor workmanship is that they were very busy and the tech didn't know what he was doing. I will not be back.Service: Oil change

The guys at this location are great. I live in the neighborhood and I have been bringing my cars here for years. The customer service is phenomenal and the work they perform is always superb. John is Amazing!!!

Recently stopped in to replace the oil and wiper blades on a family member's Subaru. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the work was complete sooner than I expected. I much prefer this shop compared to waiting four hours at the dealership, since the cost and quality of work was the same.Definitely coming back for future maintenance.

John took care of us and our car. He made sure we made it home to pick up our kids from school and picked us up when the car was ready. Hands down the best shop ever. Friendliest staff and great service we couldn't ask for a better auto service. Thank you John Pfeff and the tuffy family.

My tire went flat unexpectedly and filling it with air did nothing but make it flatter. I pulled in and they said they would help put my spare on as I didn't have any tools. I would have missed my calculus class if they didn't help. I'm so very thankful :)

Avoid this shop at all costs. Go to Kevin at the Tuffy Oswego location. He is very honest.Please read before going to this store. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years. They have lied to me and taken advantageof my good faith for the last 4 years. John is untrustworthy. I took my car in to get my breaks checked. He MADE-UP a 2,000 issue. I decided to get a second, third, and forth opinion. All of the other shops stated that the issue was not an issue. The problem was my breaks which were under warranty through tuffy. I brought this to John's attention and he argued fiercely with me. He told me he would warranty my breaks after I fixed the made up issue.I have now worked with tuffy corporate and Kevin in Oswego to resolve the issue. Kevin has stood behind the tuffy Warranty and brand. I would highly recommend Tuffy to anyone. Amazing customer service from Ron and the entire staff. They explained everything to me as they were completing the work. This was the first time that I could say I understood and trusted my mechanic. My car ran better than it ever has today!
