Update. 2/2/24 Still waiting to get my full money from owner, Joel Adams. Over 120 days old. Beware of an owner who wont return a call or pay their bills.First of all, Joel Adams, the owner of Riverview Body Shop in Aurora, does not return numerous phone calls.Riverview Body parts bought thousands of parts from our Kia and Nissan dealerships and the owner refuses to pay his bills.This is a one star, or less, operation.Be careful doing business with a company that refuses to communicate with a vendor who dutifully sold him parts to repair customer vehicles.Bob Hawkinson, ownerHawkinson Auto GroupMatteson, Il

Riverview was absolutely wonderful to work with. They did an amazing job and were so kind and helpful throughout the process. Their quote came in much lower than the other shops I checked with and their customer service cannot be beat! I will never take any of my cars anywhere else. Great to work with! They did an awesome job on my car and very efficient. I believe either Joel or Adam took their time to sit with me and compare all the other estimates that I had received. On top of that, I was updated with the process of the repairs. On the day I had to pick up my car, I had issues with my banking but luckily they were patient enough with me. Highly recommend if you're looking for honest work and reasonable prices. Thank you for everything!

I confess that I am disappointed with Riverview. I took in my 2011 Ford E-350 van for a new rear bumper, take care of a few dents in the back and repaint the affected areas. I was called 10 days later and told that it was done and ready to be picked up. When I arrived at the shop at about 3:30 I was told that it would not be ready until 5 PM. Then one of the workmen said that it was ready to go and he pulled it around. What I came to realize after I left is that none of the detail work to clean up the car after repairs was done. There is a little paint overspray and hand print on a window, the gas cap had plastic over it for paint overspray, and their work stickers were still on the van. Not huge deals at all. I also found a knife in my van and was told that a vendor was handing them out and one of the guys left it in my van and I could keep it. What really bothered me is when I realized that they took off my radio antenna and lost it. Still waiting over a week later for a replacement. I also asked for a price to fix some surface rust in the wheel wells. The owner said that he would do it for free since they had to paint there anyway. A week later and the rust is already coming through the paint so I am glad that I did not pay for it. I am not saying that they did a bad job on the work excepting the wheel well rust. The new bumper is good, the dents are gone, and the paint is fine. The clean up and prep to return to the customer was not done at all. I am not saying don't use them. Just have an extremally critical eye over the work that they do.

I ve brought all my and my kids cars to Riverview for repairs and have ALWAYS had a positive experience. Timely and high quality work and awesome customer service. Owner, Joel, always keeps me informed of status and when I couldn t make it to his shop before it closed, actually dropped my car off at my house....car was detailed too. Always white glove service!

I had a small fender bender and we wanted a shop close to our home and the reviews were favorable. They were courteous and extremely helpful from the moment I arrived. They worked with my work schedule, worked directly with my insurance company and even drove me to the Rental Agency. They kept me up dated and my truck was ready exactly as they estimated. Upon pick up was when I was blown away, my truck looked like brand new! They even cleaned and detailed the interior! Accidents happen, and if you need a repair, I highly recommend this place!

Review of November 2020So basically having a great body shop is like having a great doctor. You want the best when you need them but you hope that you don't have to call them. Riverview is like having the best specialist's mobile phone number at your disposal. They do great work and customer service is beyond 5 star. Unfortunatley we have had to have 2 vehicles repaired by them. Fortunately we had them to repair by them!!!They were amazing both times.~ Thank you Joel and all of your staff !!Review of 2 years ago:Excellent body shop! My daughter needed a repair after an accident and they were prompt, professional and kept us up-to-date and informed the whole way through. I brought my car to the shop for body work twice. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience and the quality of work at Riverview. Iraida and Sal are great to work, responsive and helpful, taking care of everything regarding the job. Joel heads a great team to get the quality job done at a fair price.

Definitely will come back if I need any more work on my car. Everyone was very professional, great quality of work, and on time with scheduling. I got my car back and fixed within two days. No complaints 5 stars!

I had never had to have auto body work done before so I didn't know what to expect. I was already bummed that i even needed to have the car fixed as some unknown person hit it while i was parked at a mall, leaving me with a dented in and scrapped rear and back side. From beginning to end everyone here was super nice and helpful. I was kept updated on when my car would be ready and when I dropped it off Enterprise had already been contacted to come and pick me up for my rental. The most impressive thing to me was how wonderful my car looked - not only perfectly matching paint but they had detailed my car inside and out - it looked brand new! They even touched up extra little dents and dings on the hood and other side of the car. Best customer service experience i have ever had with any car repair company! :)

I had my Mazda CX-5 repaired at this body shop. They did an excellent job. The paint job by Joel was perfectly done and it looks even newer and good than the time I bought. Joel the owner himself is very courteous and always a helping hand whenever I needed a ride back home, Ireda the receptionist was also patient enough to give me frequent updates about the status of my car repair with no hesitance. Overall my car repair experience was very good. Thanks Joel & Ireda for all the help in getting me back on road.

Absolutely love the work these guys do. I had a minor accident which pretty much damaged the right fender bad and few dents on the hood and the bumper. Handed it over here and they replaced the components and did all the paint work necessary. The car looks new and there are no color differences anywhere. Definitely recommend it.

My name is Ricardo and I have to say that They are amazing. I had my door for my fuel break during the cold weeks we had. I called around and no place sounded like they had any care for my situation. And many places did now wanna give me a guesstimate on repainting and installation of a new fuel door. IRAIDA was amazing. She answered the phone and when I told her what happened to my car she made me feel like she cared. She proceeded to give me a quote. Then she got to see my car and told me the price would be slightly more. (like 20 more) I was ok with that. Because what she had given me before was a quote over the phone. I cannot hold them to a price for something they hadn't even seen. I got a great price from them. The work was amazing. Paint matched so we'll you can not tell anything had happened to it. Because of this they now have a new loyal customer.

Great work on my husbands car ...fantastic workers and love the owners. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and we were taken care of. Even did a awsome job dealing with a crazy insurance company. I highly recommend them for all your service needs.

I had a small accident recently on my 03 maxima. I did not want to go through my ins so i started to look around and get some estimates. I went to Riverview and i was expecting the worse. How much $$ are they going to get me for. I checked in at the very friendly reception desk and i waited for Joel to see me. Joel was very nice and very understanding. He asked me about my car accident and then asked me what I would like to have fixed. I was not ready for that. I was expecting him to say well you need this and that and this and one of those plus paint =$1500. Instead he was able to repair most of the damage with only a few new parts needed and saved me a lot of $$$ and time. Parts were in the next day and my car was ready the same day. I give Riverview body shop 5 stars and i give Joel the owner 10 stars because he is just one of the most fair and honest persons ive met. I will definitely be back to see Joel and I recommend anybody who is looking for a body shop to go see Joel at Riverview body shop. They are the best!!! He even bufffed out my head lights for free so i could see better at night. Awesome customer service and experience. Thank you Joel!!!

We took in my girlfriends chevy impala for some body work and got great service! We had a few questions and concerns that we brought up to Joel (owner?). Joel is probably one of the nicest and most caring owners that ive ever met! He exceeded our expectations and would definitely go there again. Thanks guys!

Wow! I just can t say enough about Riverview Body Shop. Joel and the team are first class. Not only did they observe Covid-19 protocols when I brought in my car for an estimate, but they also went the extra mile in restoring my car after the hit-and-run accident. Communication was excellent and I knew exactly where the team was during the entire process. I highly recommend Riverview Body for any type of collision or bodywork!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

It is really a bad experience for me and I am really disappointed about the quality of the work this shop did. I had a flat tire on my car and Geico recommended this shop, after repair, I had little vibration while I am driving, but I didn t pay too much attention and it is getting worse. I send my car to dealer for oil change lately and ask them to check the car, after extensive work, dealer told me there are 2 lug studs missing and 1 loose, on the same tire which was flat, which the shop should fix.

Never going here again and never recommend anyone to go here. Worst customer service for a body shop and they never have time to contact your insurance you have to do everything for them. I highly recommend Riverview Body Shop for collision repairs! They were professional, knowledgeable and very personable. The repairs were completed in the time frame they promised. My daughter and I was extremely satisfied with the results!!!

I dread anything that has to do with car repairs! It always feels like I m preparing for a fight not with Riverview! Really a great experience! Prices were reasonable. Costumer service top notch!

Minor repairs done well and quickly. Courteous, competent, friendly staff. Nice office too! Not the closest to my home, but well worth the effort to get there. Highly recommended.
