I took my 2012 Nissan Sentra in to Marty s to get it checked it out before I shipped my car to California. Even though it was a bit of a time crunch, Luis the owner provided exceptional service. My car needed a new water pump and Luis ordered the part for me the next day. I brought the car back in and Luis rotated the tires, changed the belt, and replaced the water pump all within a few hours. Mary the service advisor provided me with a quote before they serviced my car and the price reflected the work that was done. I will 1000% recommend Marty s in Aurora!!

They never disappoint.. The staff and Mary have always been pleasant and informative. Marty's has been doing maintenance on my car for a couple years now- first place I take it to when and if something goes wrong. Thank you guys keep up the good work!!!

Again a very good experience! Also had power steering leak which was resolved. Met Luis, the new owner, who personally reviewed service needs. Best mechanic! I went to Marty s to fix my daughters engine. The owner took his time to fix every detail and showed us and explained what was wrong. His work was fast, efficient and the price was fair. He even called us the next day to ensure the car was running well! I have finally found a mechanic I can trust!!!

I went here in May of 2022 for a few issues with my suspension, serpentine belt, and brakes. Mary at the front desk was awesome, and updated me very quickly throughout the day after dropping my car off to let me know of additional issues with the suspension they found. I was expecting the repair to take the better part of a week, they had it all done within less than 24 hours!Great service, car now drives like I just purchased it new. I was a lifelong dealership service customer, but when recent estimates started to go astray I searched the web and found Marty s. After my visit 'Old Reliable' is running better than she has in quite some time. Your mechanics properly diagnosed a faulty ignition wire and fixed it which de-bunked $5000 in false estimates (carbon deposits and an out of service life catalytic converters) from Gerald Suburu while restoring my Forester to peak performance for 10% cost against those estimates.I can't say enough good things about Marty's! My thinking is that the dealership mechanics probably only see cars 0-7 years old where I needed and FOUND mechanics that have a touch more insight and experience in handling vehicles of all ages. Had my front struts and an o2 sensor replaced, as well as an allignment. Price was a little more than the first estimate but not by too much. I'm happy with that repair. Immediately after getting my car back however I started hearing a noise in my rear wheel. Took it back and they said my brake pads were dangerously worn, and my rotors were warped and needed replaced Immediately. Was quoted over $500 to fix it. They also snapped one of my wheel studs off but that could have been inevitable. I decided to fix the brakes myself and found that my brake pads still had plenty of pad left on them, and my rotors weren't really that bad. It was one of the parking brake mechanisms that was the problem. Glad I went ahead and changed them myself bc I saved a lot of money but they really could have gone a few more months before being replaced. No mention of the broken parking brake in their diagnosis. Considering that was the wheel that I was hearing the strange noises in, I can only assume that was the problem all along. They didn't even take off the caliper to inspect the brakes. Just threw a $500 estimate at me after I already spent 1500 with them. Will not be coming back.Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

It's deeply gratifying knowing that there are still places like Marty's around. The people are all fantastic. Hands-on, attentive, giving updates, and reaching out. This is a shop that truly cares, not only about the quality of the repair, but the customer, as well. The quality of the work on my car was outstanding, and Marty worked through a mysterious sound coming from my suspension with real interest and attention. Mary gave me regular feedback concerning my repair. Most important, they stand behind their work and are genuinely concerned that the customer is happy with the repair, as well. In short, it's the best of both worlds--a quality shop that really cares about the customer experience. These are people you can trust.

This place was referred to me by a regular customer of mine and Marty s was beyond the recommendation given. Such an amazing, friendly staff with outstanding customer service. Extremely knowledgeable and honest mechanics that aren t looking to yank your chain just to make a sale. I had quite a horrible experience with firestone putting thousands of dollars into my car with the problem instantly remaining. Marty s told me and showed me (which I loved) what was wrong, fixed it and the problem was gone! I will never take my car elsewhere!

I was in Illinois visiting people and my van kept overheating in the days before I was to drive back to Florida. I called a AAA recommended garage and they couldn't get me in for a week but the guy at Robinson's said he wouldn't go anywhere other than Marty's. Then a friend of a friend said she had been using Marty's for years.So I called Marty's at 10:30 am , they got me in and diagnosed just after 1:00 pm and completed the repairs by 4:00 pm.I drove 18 hours straight the next morning and my mini-van purred like a kitten with no issues whatsoever.I highly recommend Marty's for their expertise, professionalism and superb customer service. RIP Marty, I hope the shop is in capable hands since Marty's unexpected passing.

Great people to deal with! I was able to leave my vehicle a day early. I explain the problem, they were quick to diagnose the issue. Gave them the okay to proceed with the work. Estimated time was about week, in which they were able to complete the work sooner than that! They were also able to fit in an oil change when the job was already completed..looking forward to bringing my other vehicles for repair and routine maintenance! Thank you everyone at Marty's automotive !

We spent a couple thousand on one of our vehicles months ago. Mechanic never spoke to us directly about jack, only the woman at front desk. Either way, car ended up passing emissions but the brakes had been basically rubbing metal on metal and the oil pan was rusted horribly, two things they neglected to observe or let us know about after paying over two grand. Disappointing but we have found a better, honest mechanic in the area who takes pictures and keeps an open dialogue. This is the most important thing when you want your vehicle maintained properly for your family members safety. Certain things shouldn t be overlooked.Edit: And after reading the reviews I am even more alarmed that we gave this business so much money Service: General repairs & maintenance

Marty & Erin run a Top Notch Service Garage. I have never left disappointed. Great Service at Fair Prices. I appreciate being able to call Marty's up and let them know what the problem is and they have be bring my vehicle by. They take a look and let me know what is wrong & give me the options. As long as Marty's is around, I will be a Patron!!!

Marty s Automotive is without doubt the best place to take your car! They will be honest and straight with you with everything your car needs and on pricing! They will also do 10 out of 10, 5 star work on your car every time, so the car you drive will be safe on the road! Highly recommend Marty s Automotive for any of your car needs that they provide!

I came to this shop because they told me that they specialize in car air conditioning. My problem is that the AC blows cold then turns hot. I was charged $400 to fix that problem on my 1st visit. A few days later my 2005 Chevy Tahoe still has the same problem. I return to have the problem fixed again. I was told the new problem is the blend door actuator After taking my entire dashboard apart, that did not fix the problem. Not only did it not fix the AC but now my controls will not switch from feet to face to defrost. Which worked perfectly fine when I dropped my truck off. Now my truck is in worse condition than when I dropped it off. They don t know what s wrong & won t admit that they made my problem worse. Don t waste your time or money.

They did a great job! It's hard to get your car fixed when you work. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday night, and it was fixed by Wednesday night. Everything was explained thoroughly over the phone, they fixed it and I paid over the phone. I was able to pick it up after they were closed. Someday maybe I'll actually meet them.

Marty and Erin have a great family business. They offer the expertise of dealership service, with the affordability and individual care that you'd expect from a local small business. After experiencing disappointment after disappointment from "big box" automotive repair shops, I was recommended to visit Marty's Automotive. Marty has spent the time and effort caring for our vehicles, as if they were his own, and continues to inform me of the how and "why" certain maintenance must be performed. Thankfully Marty still has the art of auto repair, which he has proven to arrive at the proper solutions more efficiently and with integrity, which can really save a family's budget.

Had a great experience at Marty's. They used their scanner to diagnose the check engine light in my Subaru. Turns out the issue was minimal and I got out of their with an oil change and the engine light off. Would certainly go back!

Have been a customer of Marty's Automotive for a few years now and they NEVER disappoint! We gladly drive from Elgin to Aurora for our vehicle service because we know the team at Marty's does an outstanding job on our cars while maintaining the highest level of integrity. Sure, we could go to a local mechanic or a big box service center because it is closer, but we never know what we are getting from those places. With Marty's, we always know it is an honest evaluation of what is needed without the upsell you find at other chain service centers.

Marty's Automotive is the only shop for me. I have tried the dealership, where I bought my car, a few local places, then a national chain. No one, & I mean no one has the attention to detail, than Marty & staff. I also find his prices definitely fair! If you need a Mechanic you can trust, Marty's is the Place!

my first time there years ago they were friendly , but didn't do there what they said to fix my leaky engine , a day later my engine was still leaking So i call them they them. they looked at it said it the rear main seal that was what they said they will fix front the begining and wanted to charge me more money. i said no he said next time come in i will give you a break on the next job . a few years later i did that for a simple job they told me $153.00 to replace torsion keys. i said okay . After the job they charged me $189.00 , and i asked them why . long story but i asked about the credit they didn't give it to me . so they lost my business . good friendly people but don't stand by their word . Marty s Automotive has been my mechanic since I ve been licensed 12 years ago. They have been my family s mechanic for close to 20 years. Very very Trustworthy and they do great work. Highly highly recommend Marty.
