Useless staff. Took my vehicle in for repair which took a few days (understandable) but upon getting my car back, I found that they destroyed the electronics/wires responsible for showing my indicator lights. Accidents happen. I stopped in a day later to ask if they could make it right and fix the problem that they themselves created and I was told that I would first need to have it inspected along with a boldfaced lie along the lines of Our electronics specialist isn t in right now and that there s no chance they could fix my wire unless I scheduled an appointment. Fine, I left my car there for them to tell me what I already knew, which is that they pinched a wire. Then I scheduled an appointment like they asked me to and it turns out, a full day after my appointment time, they haven t gotten around to even attempting a repair on my car.Over the phone, they offered up the excuse that they re behind on work and that many of their employees called off. Seriously? What this communicates to me is that the staff can t be relied on to complete repairs in a timely manner, they can t be relied on to complete repairs correctly, and that they don t give any sort of care or time of day to customers who aren t lining their pockets. They themselves BROKE something in my vehicle and seem to place zero priority of making this right.I scheduled an appointment a week and a half in advance. What is the point of scheduling an appointment at all if you re not going to even get around to looking at my vehicle during my appointment? I get being busy, but telling me over the phone that your employees called off and that you haven t done anything with my car a full day after our scheduled appointment just tells me that I shouldn t bring my car in to this location anymore.

I was greeted by Drew, he was extremely kind and went over all my concerns. My car was going to be in the service department for most of the day. They gave me a ride home, and offered to,pick me up when my car was ready. The driver was also very friendly. Once my car was finished, I once again dealt with Drew. It was the end of the day and he was still just as helpful and kind as he was at 7:00 AM. Drew also showed me a few features on my car and how to use them.

FINAL UPDATE: I was able to get an appt and have my car repaired after scheduling an appt with the service manager to go over the situation. We came to the agreement that they would pay 50% of the costs. He called back a few days later with an estimate for 650, and I would pay 350- which I was okay with. I just got my car back today after dropping it off Sunday night and it looks great. I m very happy with how it turned out. I m still a little disappointed at how much I had to go through in order to even get in contact with someone, but ultimately happy with the results and finally having a beautiful car again. EDIT:: THE MANAGER HAS STILL NOT CONTACTED ME EVEN THOUGH ON THIS REVIEW HE REPLIED AND CLAIMED HE WOULD CALL US. 0/5 STARS!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!The customer service here is so appalling I have to give it one star. If I could I would give 0. I brought my 2020 Kia Forte in just for one thing, a system update due to a recall on the car. Dropping it off, my car did indeed have a small hole in the bottom of the bumper, a little bigger than the size of a baseball - I wish I took a picture before but I know the mechanic did, so maybe they can post it attached to mine! But it was hardly noticeable. I was working that day so my dad dropped it off & picked my car up. Upon picking it up I noticed it was now missing the ENTIRE front piece that had once only been a small hole. My dad, since they already knew him, called and asked what had happened to my car. No one was able to tell us for 3 days what happened. It almost was like they were trying to avoid calling us because when they did it was during dinner time. Finally, after telling us they ran my car through their car wash and the piece must have broke off in there, they also informed us there was nothing they could do to help with the broken off piece, even though it was their machinery that cause DAMAGE to my car. Will not be going here for services ever again and highly do not recommend going or shopping here. Their customer service is rude and unhelpful. The pictures show what the part should look like compared to the ENTIRE piece missing on the other side. Again, prior to bringing it in, there was a small hole a little bigger than a baseball. Now my entire front piece is gone and I never even received a sorry !

Got my car here in 2021. Great deal. They were absolutely able to work with me on price and extras (they installed a remote start for no additional fee!) and had a good selection. I will say my interest rate wasn t the best initially, but I refinanced for a much better rate later with a credit union. Service continues to take good care of my vehicle. The warranty DOES pay out. I had my entire engine replaced in 2022 and wasn t charged a penny. The only thing I don t recommend is the warranty on tires. It lasts only 5 years and so far it s looking like my tires might last long enough that I won t get my money s worth (they put really high quality tires on right out of the gate). Just buy your own tires.

If you are looking for an amazing dealership, this is it! I have to tell you about two great men who went above and beyond to help my daughter-in-law. The salesman's name is Jacob Larsen who really listens to his customers'! Jacob did show perfect vehicles' that were accommodating to her family every need. He is knowledgeable, personable, took his time to explain the vehicle, the prices, the different packages, functions and special promotions the dealership is offering. Along the way he would call (several times) to keep me informed about every transaction even when I live in Texas!!! Incredible!!! Also, I have to brag about another very important man who made this buying process easier, Ramiro Perez! He wants to make sure you get the BEST deal possible. He also listens to his customers, making sure they are comfortable and completely satisfied with your downpayment, explaining the car warranty in detail, going over different financial options and the final drive out price. He will fight for his customers putting them first! These two men are truly an asset to Gerald KIA of N. Aurora! I thank you both for making dreams come true. It was a pleasure to find two wonderful salesmen working together with one goal in mind! What an astonishing team!! I deeply appreciate all you did for my son and daughter-in-law. THANK YOU BOTH

I brought my car in for an oil change and to have my rear brakes checked. They immediately came out and checked my car in. I was there for 2-3 hours. Found out my brakes were still good. The oil change was done and they also did a safety recall on my car. I was very satisfied with the time spent waiting for my car. Gina was awesome in explaining everything to me. It was a good experience all the way around. I would definitely refer Gerald Kia to anyone who needed service for they re Kia.

Our experience here was wonderful. We visited on the last day of the year, which is the busiest. Everyone here was fantastic and the dealership had everything we needed. We had our kids with us so despite the wait, they ended up watching tv, eating popcorn, and drinking hot chocolate! We walked out with our new Kia Sportage and couldn t be happier. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

My service tech, Richard, was very thorough. He went over everything with me at the end of the appointment, laying out recommendations and explaining where my vehicle was at with the wear and use of each aspect they reviewed. It was very helpful to understand the timeline of when those services need to be completed by.

I can't say enough just how incredibly great Gerald kia is, every aspect here is flawless, no matter what your looking for you'll find it here. First off iwill share a story that just happened, so I bought a 2023 kia from a dealership in McHenry thinking it was a good deal, WRONG WRONG I WAS, I found out about the lifetime power train warranty at Gerald kia (Exclusively At Gerald Kia) and I traded in my 2023 for a 2024. I delt with Chris he's a manager and not only did Chris help get me into the 2024 without paying an arm and leg, he helped me get a warranty reimbursement from the 2023 I bought in McHenry, Chris was honest, more than fair and seemed very genuine, he explained the entire process and made this easy and fast. Never before have i had such a good experience buying a car. Now story 2 my girlfriend gets a car (second one from gerald kia) and she got a very good deal, after she got put in a beautiful new car she had some questions and misunderstood a few details in her deal she made at Gerald kia. So we set an appointment to see about changing her agreement with kua, Before she and I even stepped into the store one of the sales consultants started talking to us, Tyler Evbanks was his name, after we talked about the reason we were there and who we wanted to see the GM, Tyler listened to our concerns, and Tyler addressed and reassured my girlfriend explaining in great detail all the options she had today and when her lease expires. Tyler was one of the best sales consultants I have ever seen, he was genuine, he was able to explain everything in such great detail there was no need to speak with a gm because Tyler took care of all concerns and questions. Clearly Tyler knows every aspect of the business. I am big on manners and body language says alot, Tyler's body language showed sincerity, confidence, and intelligence, employees Luke Tyler make you come back, I would recommend Gerald Kia to all my family and friends, I have bought many cars throughout the years and I can tell you from experience the sales consultants like Tyler or managers like Chris really create a lifelong relationship when you or a family member, a friend need a car you'll need people like Tyler, Chris, Romero to be there so you get the most for your money and what you wanted. I have been to the Lex** dealership in Naperville, the Volks***** dealership and neither dealership compares to Gerald Kia of N. Aurora. I am giving you the honest to GOD truth here hands down this is the best dealership in a 300mile radius not just because the lifetime powertrain, the sales consultants and managers actually care, they are honest and completely eliminate the bad car salesman stereotype. I'll never buy a car anywhere else than Gerald Kia and if your tires of the typical mediocre dealership and want first class five star treatment come to Gerald Kia, I'd seek out Tyler Evbanks and I'm sure you'll run into Chris Olsen too, there are no games being playedhere its professionalism at its best.

Ewell was very informative and helped me through the process and understanding what it is to buying ur first car. Gave me the rundown of each car and took in consideration of all my wants and needs in a car! Very helpful and the finance guy I unfortunately don t remember his name but he gave me so much knowledge on that end of the process and overall my experience here was amazing. Let them know the bad experience I had previously at another dealership and here the exceeded my expectations! HIGHLY RECOMMEND especially if you re a young adult who is not knowledgeable enough about first Tim car buying! They will not belittle you in any aspect! LOVE IT HERE!

I purchased in a vehicle from this location for my 19 year old son in July of 2023 so that he would be able to drive back to college. The radio system did not work. We entered in a contract for my son to bring the vehicle back on school break so that they can fix the radio. The first 2 times he took the vehicle back they kept it a week each time. The 3rd time they kept the vehicle for 2 weeks. At this point my son needs to get back to school. I call and speak to the GM Chuck. He explains they need more time to fix the radio because they now need to rewire the entire system which requires removing the dashboard. I explained that they have been given my son the run around, back and forth with not answering calls or giving timely updates on the status of the vehicle. We negotiate and settle on an amount that will be refunded. 3 weeks later and multiple phone calls, I have yet to receive the refund. I do not recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle from this location. Chuck, you should be ashamed with how you have not followed through with making sure the radio got fixed or refunding my money in a timely manner!

Update... I was told my breaks were newer when I bought the car started making funny noises, I took it to a mechanic I've used forever who said my brakes were no where near new. I had to replace brakes and roters costing me almost 350.. I called and spoke with someone in sales who said he'd speak to my car salesman and get back to me the next day. They wanted to do right by me. That was about 2 months ago I never heard back.I just bought my car here a 2017 chevy cruze! Best experience ever. Tj, Drin, Tom and Eddie did an amazing job helping me. They didn't have my car at their lot but they found me exactly what I wanted. Due to my hectic schedule they brought the car to my house (I live about an hour an a half away from the dealership) where I finished filing out all my paper work. I was completely blown away by the apr rate they were able to get me. Thank you for everything I absolutely love this car and the service. These guys went above and beyond to make me happy. I highly recommend. All their cars have a life time warranty on major car parts engine transmission etc.

The entire staff was wonderful easy , to work with very accommodating and friendly!What really sold it for me was the after Service safety reports that gave me a detailed list of things that I need to get done.The reality is some of it I cannot afford dealer costs! My experience with Gerald Kia of North Aurora, IL has been great. The salesman assigned to me was Akos and he did an outstanding work on getting my car with the best deal. His manager Tim played a great role. Overall, the entire time was great. I wished to have more value of my trade-in. I found it lower compared with other dealerships around. I bought the Kia Forte 2024 LXS and it came with all the features I was looking for on a car.

I had a great experience with the Kia Gerald North Aurora location. The salesperson Adil Fadlelmula was very helpful, explained the car features and answered all my questions. He sent me regular updates on my vehicle status and did follow up after the purchase as well. The Manager Ramiro and the finance manager are also good. Nice and friendly people and I will recommend this location to my friends as well.

Went in for some warranty work. Staff was friendly. However, upon leaving I noticed my radio no longer worked very well or at all. For days all I did was complain that my radio hadn t worked right since leaving dealership. While changing the cabin filter today, I noticed my vehicle s antenna just sitting in my tray. Apparently, y all removed my antenna and forgot to put it back. Now that we screwed in back in she works just fine.
