They seemed to not have things organized and communication from online to store is failing. There was an irate customer before me yelling her dissatisfaction. The mechanics had a full garage, but no one seemed to be working, but rather on their phones. The manager seemed to be struggling with keeping up with the business, which is sad. Cancelled my appointment in person due to the time frame becoming 3 hours. Called Discount Tire and was able to drive up no issues, and they provided a better cost and customer service experience. Firestone needs to get things together, or they will drown in the sea of car service shops that are on RT59.

We have been Firestone customers for years because of their honesty and great customer service. For this service, our teen daughters set up the appointment, brought the car in, spoke with Mike, who is always friendly and respectful, and picked up the car. They were treated like valued customers, with the same friendliness and respect. Thank you, Mike, and Firestone, for helping us increase our daughters' independence. We really appreciate it!

Very poor customer service. I booked an appointment 3 days ago and the appointment was confirmed. When I went there on the appointment day and time, I got a call 30 mins past saying they don t have people to service and they can t do today. Very poor customer service and I won t recommend.

Miguel saved the day! I had a nail in my tire and almost missed my job as a performer for private events because of it, but he squeezed me in and got it done while he was all alone at the shop in below freezing weather! Forever grateful that I didn't end up needing a whole new tire and that he saved my client's event!

Worst firestone ever. I spent 5000 in 3 months with them and they always say they cant fix the car or come back tomorrow. The firestone on forgue road is so much better.

Called for a quote already knowing similar pricing for the parts and guy said a complete over price of $2500+ when I called him out on that he said whatever that s my price. For reference all it was was just ONE fuel injector and timing belt and water pump online pricing isn t even anywhere near that. Surprised they have good reviews. Don t suggest this place if your a women they ll expect you not to know anything, and obviously outrageously price you and be unprofessional.

Please save your money and car by NOT coming to this place! Very bad service from just a plain battery change to changing my rotors and brakes, they made horrible mistakes to my car. My car s front brake pads and rotors (serviced by them just a month before) burst into smoke and a very bad burning metal smell while driving and had my car towed to them (i had to pay for the towing company by the way) They said sorry for putting very cheap parts and will redo the service with more high end parts (still covered with their warranty) After a couple of months, creaking sounds on my brakes again, this time they forgot to put lube on them. I was literally just dumbfounded of the kind of service this shop have. I mean i get it if the service was free, but I paid big bucks for what s supposed to be done by professional and experienced mechanics. Please just stay away from this place!

If I was able to rate them negative 5 stars I would the worst place I been to and possibly cost me a whole car ever since I went to them for an oil change I haven t had nothing but problems with car. I went for an oil change they never put the oil in the car after I left the shop my car started driving bad when it was in good condition and then 2 days after I almost got stuck on the road the car was shaking I had the engine light steering light and another light I forgot the car was not drivable I pulled into a gas station to check because the last time I went for service was the oil change and I checked the oil twice it was nearly dry barely any oil in the car I called them and told them they never put oil in here they told me to bring the car after an hour later they told me look we did put oil in the car it s computer error and shows me the oil lying straight to my face when I checked an hour before there was nothing there. Now I have a car that s messed up and got stuck in the highway car wasn t going and the engine light came back well after the damage was done it did no good for them to add the oil after because I have nothing but problem with the car now and the engine messed up damage is already done. They are very bad scammers if I didn t check that they didn t put oil I would ve prob believed them but I saw it with my own eyes and then when I took it back they added the oil just to cover themselves up worst service possible. They owe me a new car I paid 25K for this car and now I got stuck on the road 2 times I had to tow my car to Honda. I paid way more money and possibly my car is as good as trash now if the engine goes out. I would RECOMMEND TO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Worst service ever. I seen it with own eyes I took care of this car all my life and they messed it up by not doing a simple job put the oil in.

I was looking for quotes for changing the break pass and rotors. This place gave me the most economical quote with warranty (comparable or better than other places) for the parts and labor. Call them for an appointment and there is no need to wait. It's been a couple weeks and I have no complaints with their work.

If I could give zero stars for this location, I would. I have taken my car to this location for a few different things. The first time was an oil change and the guy put too much oil in when I had already been waiting for my car for 45 minutes... it took an extra 20 minutes to take the excess oil out. I then went another time for my battery since my battery light came on. It took a good 45 minutes to put the battery in and then they realized it was too small so they had to call another location which took another hour until my car was ready. Another time my engine light went on. I was able to get my car in 2 days after I called, but when they took a look they told me the part it needed and that it is on backorder. They said it would be in by the end of September. I did not receive any status call until I called last week. At which point, the first guy I spoke to aggressively told me to call back in an hour and then hung up on me. I called back and it is still on backorder but said they are going through a different vendor to get it on Tuesday and they would call me. It's Friday and still no call. My engine light has been on since August! Customer service is absolutely horrible and to be paying so much money for parts and for cars to be worked on, there needs to be a lot of improvement.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

He answered the call with a positive tone. And took my sons car in right away. This is an awesome company not only did they fix my son tire they also fixed the light fixture. It was electrical. Went here to ask for urgent flat tire repair. No one was available to fix the issue. I was there at 6 in the evening. Worst service.

Came in needing an alignment after installing a new steering rack and ended up with two torn steering rack boots because it s not the technician s job to check that they are getting twisted. They then tried charging me for the repair which I thought was ludicrous. In the end I got my money back and some boots that didn t fit despite me giving an exact part number.So now I m out $50 for the proper replacements, an afternoon of my own work, AND now I need a front alignment again. If you care about your car long-term, I would stay away.

Very bad experience before I come I told them need to fix windows when I got there nobody fix until tomorrow so I told change oil and look 1 my tires it always lower and when I pick up he say it lower but it ok before I go I will that tire almost 10 time the rest may be 3 time and u say is fine I go to fire stone for long but this time make me vest my time what I need to fix they don t why not told me from first place when I call so I not come I go somewhere else

Stopped in on Sunday because by tire pressure light was on, the place was quite busy, and the gentleman there fixed both my tire issues in les than 10 minutes and for no charge. Everyone I talked to there was so pleasant and friendly, that is saying allot about your establishment. Thank you all again, I am truly grateful.

Amazing customer service. I originally scheduled a appointment to get my car AC looked at, they called and said it is pretty busy would you like to reschedule your appointment, we will take care of the charges to look at the AC. I said why not ?lolWent today to get the AC looked at i was charged for exactly what the problem was, no trying to sell me something i don't need.I am very happy with my service, AC works great and got a great deal. Customer service is on point.

Been here couple of times. So far good experience.My recent experience here made me write this review. Went there for Headlight issue. I went to another center in the neighborhood for the same issue and been told that only after having an appointment and opening the front, they will be able to tell the model of my headlight and cost to repair.Expecting the same response, i came over and got surprised. They informed me that they dont have an appointment available for that day at the same time lit the headlight and told me which type it is and how much it is going to cost. The person took it one level further recommending me to reach out to the dealership first, as the HID lamps are more than $200 and might be covered under warranty. If not covered under warranty, they could do the work for a far better price than dealership. I checked with the dealership and got to know my membership points and warranty is covering 100 percent of the cost($450). Though the service was not done with Firestone, i am impressed the way it was handled comparing to another Firestone in the same neighborhood.

I can't recommend this Firestone location enough. I drive a car with 235/35R19 tires - if you know anything about tires, you'll know that this particular size of tire is extremely difficult to install. I actually had one shop turn me away as it didn't want to risk damaging the wheels.I went to this Firestone location to install a set of tires I bought online, and they had it done within 1.5 hours. Not only did they get it done quickly, but I checked all four wheels when I got home and there wasn't a single scratch or any noticeable damage on any of them. All of the service advisors, managers, technicians, and employees were extremely pleasant to work with and very helpful. I'm very impressed with my experience here, and this location has absolutely earned my future business.

I showed up about an hour before they closed on 8/22, and the guys were busy & at the tail end of a long shift. Regardless, they were extremely patient, helpful and effective in helping me with my car. They work hard and have a strong sense of customer service. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area.

Brought my car in to have the tires looked at, as I had to refill one of my tires every few days and got tired of it. After dropping it off at Fox Valley my car was ready in less than a business day. After picking it up I still had to refill my tire every few days. So, less than a month after I picked it up from this location, I took it over to Gartner and they told me my front two tires are basically legally bald and the rim of my problem tire needed cleaning out. They also said I was due for a tire rotation. I m surprised that the staff at the Fox Valley location didn t notice any of these issues and gave me back my car with a low tire pressure warning. What did I leave my car there for?

I needed a pair of tires for my Lancer and Tilsen the store manager found me the best price and quality tires I needed. Prices were better than all other competitor's. He was also very kind and informative, as well as assuring the job was done correctly and in a timely manner. I recommend this Firestone location over any other in the Western Suburbs. I changed oil and serpentine belt for my car as it was noisy with another car company. Within 2 weeks, the belt was fallen and come out of the pully. Due to that, car steering was locked and AC was not working. Another car service company asked me to replace water pump. I didn't accept this and go ahead with second opinion with Firestone.Firestone car service company told me that the issue is with belt tensioner but not water pump. After fixing this, I did not have any issue with my car.I'll definitely recommend this service company. They are very good and professional.
