On Jan.30 i got into a small accident and my insurance took it here. horrible experience the front desk lady Yolanda has bad guest service, ignores calls when annoyed and has no idea of what s going on. The work they do is just as bad, took way too long and now they avoid my calls to fix what they forgot or could not get around to. It took 5/6 months to finally get my car back and every-time i would call they were doing inspections so i thought the car was going to get back to me in good condition. boy was i wrong because i found broken stuff that wasn t done by the accident , such as the broken mirror (how does that happen) , broken cup holder (again, how does that even happen?) and broken latch for the hood. on top of all that, huge safety concerns were left untreated as well, such as the broken seatbelts and they left my car outside to rust so i had to replace brakes and the paint on my car . i m telling you , this place is a waste of space. please reconsider bringing your car here if able to and refuse their service . if i could i would give this place 0 stars ..Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

Do not use this shop EVER. My car was taken here after an accident on August 5. As of this writing, September 28, 2023 I still do not have the vehicle back. They went back and forth claiming they did not receive the check from the insurance and now are avoiding calls. This place is a scam. Do not waste your time. My car was at a previous shop untouched. Just sitting there for almost 2 months. Called my insurance and got it sent to this shop and let me tell you I left out there with an amazing job done to my car! Every time I called they gave me an update on it and how much longer it was going to take. Got it back within weeks! Had a problem with my back sensors, told then right away and they fixed it that same week. Every one there is so nice too one of the workers made sure I was happy with the work before I left the shop. Definitely recommend!Service: Body & Trim

WORST. BUSINESS. EVER!Brought my car the morning of June 5th and did not get it back until July 19th. 6 weeks and 2 days total.These people are not professional at all! With all the ignored calls, being on hold numerous times and once for 30+ minutes with no follow up. These ladies and crew are completely airheaded, incompetent and have absolutely no clue about delivery dates or when the work will be completed.I was so frustrated due to the lack of service, I had to go there and speak to someone personally. Upon arrival, no one is in the office, was ringing the bell for a couple minutes and nothing. I walk to the back and see this lady talking and eating ice cream. No wonder they dont answer or work. I damn near got belligerent.Not a single care in the world. You ask them a question and the answer is always, "I dont know." They absolutely refused to let me speak with the owner Steve and did not want to provide his phone number. Doubt this guy even exists at this point. Hes always on vacation or not available.I did not want to believe all the bad reviews until they started to happen to me and the horrible stuff people said had come true. My car had 127xxx miles on it at drop off, now its 129xxx. Complaints get nowhere anyway.I even had to file a BBB complaint with no resolution because they ignored that too. This is more of a scam than a business. Straight pathetic and embarassing. The list goes on and on, but I say all this so the next person will know what its like. Dont bring your car here. Heed my warning.

They ve had my vehicle for months only to keep pushing pick up date. Every week it s something new they tell me. They never answer the phone. Also stated they do not have any manger or someone higher up to speak to. Reported them to insurance and attorney s general.

Gm this place has had my car for over 4 months and with full payment up from please make sure your kids do not get a 2nd or 3rd party insurance cause this place has had way more time then any place I've ever been to and yes I've been a rental the whole time time ,this place needs to do better or go somewhere else...Today is July 7th and this horrible place still has my car this place needs to shut down and the Ladies whom work her are the worst,rude,and nasty need to be let Go... this place has had this car 5month with full payment. Please let your insurance company know to drop this place or you should drop them . Hopefully folks start picking this place Everyone needs there cars...This place should be shut down by the state. ..Omg today's Date 7/19/2023 I just received a Chicago ticket in the mail Watch this place my car still here with full payment now who's driving my car from Aurora to the City or Using my Plates,Chk when u got your tickets and chk the tollbooth one too. 5months no car. My bumper got pretty banged up and I was told to go here because of insurance contracts. At first I had trouble getting ahold of them for updates but then they surfaced and got my car done ahead of schedule. When I picked it up, my car was repaired perfectly, the paint matched and my car was detailed. Overall I had a really solid experience here.Service: Body & Trim

Wonderful experience from start to finish. I was informed of the repair plan and went over the process of repairs with the owner. I was informed daily of the repair process of my vehicle. I know these types of business are busy and there are more customers to service than myself so I did not expect a daily call but they did an amazing job at informing me throughout the process. I have no issues Or complaints my vehicle looks great my body work and paint work looks amazing. I will highly recommend them to friends and family they have multiple locations to better service the Greater Chicago market.

Nobody answers the phone, nobody knows how to order parts right. 5 weeks turned into next week then this Friday oh no next Thursday literally give you the run around IF THEY DO answer. I give this place zero stars. Horrible work. They left parts of the unfinished job in my trunk. After several calls to my insurance company Fineline Collision returned my call. Three times they told me my car was ready but by end of day the job still went unfinished. I've never dealt with a business this unprofessional! Dont take your car here. A simple bumper job took over 5 months. They didnt replace the bumper lights. Where the light should be is an empty space.Service: Body & Trim

Was recently in a fender bender. Was told by Direct Auto that this was one of their preferred shops. So I called to set up an appointment. The girl who answered was incredibly condescending and rude to me the entire time. She couldn't even give me a rough idea on how long repairs would take. Really didn't seem to know what she was doing at all. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it to me. I called Direct Auto back to find another shop. I won't be doing my business here

No stars if possible. Car has been in their shop for going on 3 months now. A month ago I was informed that my car would be ready in 5 business days, 2 weeks after I was told, it still has some minor work to be done to it . A week and a half later , it had came back from getting the air bags reset & was told it jus needed a wash and it was good to go.. Picked my car up & it had no fluids & began to over heat. For a week I was told they were trying to find the reason as to why it had overheated & was informed last Friday they had to replace the motor .. & that they needed to inform my insurance company of the repairs needed . Spoke with them today and still no report has been filled . I have left messages, never got back to . I had to personally come up there to get a status report on my car. Poor communication, poor service. Wouldn t recommend!!

This place is horrible with communicating when your vehicle will be ready. They promise you a certain day and when I expect it that day, they say they still have to order parts or my vehicle still ain t complete. Almost two months in a half and they still can t get it together. So slow and bad communication..go elsewhere if you have options.Service: Body & Trim

Unfortunately I had to use this company because of my insurance. They have had my car for almost two months now. I had two damages that needed to be fixed which was the passenger control arm on left side and my rim. The lady is no help she tells me my car will be ready every week. I finally called again just to find out they had to do something for the breaks. The lady never called me to even tell me. I even told her I was going to come pick my car up. She said it wasn t there and I asked can I get the location where it s at she told me they don t give out that kind of info it s total bs I will be up there to see what s really going on a whole Scam when my car only had two owners they do that to make more money so awful

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE FOR REPAIRS! They received my car on February 16th and the process was delayed for about 3 weeks because of my insurance company. It's now April 30th and I still don't have my car. Each week they say it'll be ready the next week and then when that week comes it's delayed another week! I can never get straight answers. The lady that answers the phone always says that she'll get answers in regards to my car and then never call back! I was told last week that my car would be complete this Wednesday after another delay of a week and today I called and it's still not complete. It's apparently in the airbag shop and now it's another 3-5 days delay AGAIN!! I ask to speak with a manager and was told that he can call me on tomorrow. Well we'll see if he calls. I have come out of my pocket sooooo much money for a rental and I don't have anything left. I continually tell them this, but they don't care. If your insurance company recommends them, DO NOT GO! SEEK OTHER OPTIONS!! IF I COULD GIVE THEM LESS THAN ONE STAR, I WOULD!!

My car was sent here by my insurance company after an accident last year in June and wasn t given back to me until this February. If it was my choice I would not have sent it here but my insurance stated they wouldn t cover any warranty s after the fix if I were to go my own mechanic. They had it almost year and it was given back to me non driveable. They have failed to call me back. Just overall worst experience with already a stressful situation. I fully reccomend to NOT come here. I never got updates unless I called. What really upsets me is that I was given a car back that wasn t fully fixed and they failed to contact me back. Don t waste your time here.

NOPE, NO WAY, my personal mechanic was able to take apart the car and give me a damage assessment with a quote for the cheapest repair option possible in less than two days, but yet people will have their cars here for upward of 3 months for small issues, was hit by someone with american alliance, was their fault, huge issue with insurance, they only gave me this shop, i had to wait over a month and a half to get to my appointment, i get there and she tells me there is almost 50 other cars in the lot that havent even been looked at, i wouldnt have my car for MONTHS. front lady had an attitude the entire time saying she would only take pictures of the car and send to insurance which was already done a long time ago, pray to god you dont have to go here, it was so sketchy i wasnt leaving my car there with them at all, the other reviews back all of this up, i dont need my car coming back with damage it didn t come in with, if it wasnt for American alliance i doubt they would still be in business, at this point i have to scrap my car and buy a new one. I pray that nobody else has to continue to deal with this place, fire your front desk worker and hire someone is who isnt giving everyone attitude, i could go on forever, an insanely stressful experiance, now i just have to be screwed, ive already been out of work for over 2 months, this place has no regard for people who have to go there. If you have to go here, your screwed.

Wouldn t recommend horrible service. Only reason i was there was because of my insurance. The car was there 3 months for a simple bumper replacement. They called me saying it was ready, the car didn t even make it to my house had to tow it back for another 2 weeks to replace 1 hose.

I got rare ended and the guys insurance (American alliance) sent my car there for thr repairs. My car had been there since August and they still dont return my car. They have stopped answering my phone calls and I've left voicemails and nothing. It's now 6 months since it's been there I'm at the point to contact the best business bureau to handle this matter

This place is so low quality I m upset I have to even give one star. They gave the lowest quality work with even worse customer service. It seems a child could ve done better with the work seeing as these people couldn t even place a bumper properly. Coming here was such a waste of time and money. I will have to go somewhere else to repair what these people so called fixed please save your money and go elsewhere. Not only do these people do a horrible job it also seems they have NO PEOPLE SKILLS.

the New counter girl is a lot better then the previous one always keeps me updated on my car and anything additional the shop might need from me. Great work from a close and friendly staff. Definitely doing something better then before.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Brought my car here to get repairs from an accident. Not even a year later and the paint is doing some weird chipping/ scaling thing. So, cheap paint and not enough clear protective coating.

They had my car for about 3 weeks, i had to return my car because they put on the wrong bumper and my headlights were not installed right.. horrible company with poor communication with customers on updates with their car.
