Sent a message about a part I saw on Facebook C K responded and told me it was available. I told him I was from over an hour away. He assured me it was available. I got there. He then said it was not available because I was busy . Then offered me another part that did not fit and told me he would charge me an extra $25 to cut it to make it fit! These people are absolutely terrible! And then, when you have a problem with anything, nobody speaks any English! Stopped at a couple mechanics on the way back to Champaign and told them my story and they all laughed and said yeah we know that place is horrible so evidently it s a secret that I did not know, but everyone else knew do not waste your time with this horrible business!

Went in person for a fender and bumper for a second gen dakota. Prices were good and parts were as promised but they took quite a while to pull them despite me asking for them to be pulled over the phone. It only cost $25 to have both pulled though which made up for it.

Horrible customer service bought a motor and installed it only to find out that it was a bad motor and knocking. The owner has every excuse not to give me my money back and is very disrespectful. I ve called several times for my refund and he tried to tell me that I didn t bring back the same motor when they marked it with paint maker and put a tag on it. Then I called for a refund again and he said it will be another week for a refund and that he sold the motor to someone else. If so they will be really be upset when they find out it s a junk motor. I highly don t recommend buying from these people.

We drove up for an engine. It had a broken timing belt. So the pulled a newer engine out of a running car and gave it to us. They worked quick and friendly. Hopefully they find me a pulling truck.

This place has a variety of used cars and used parts. We called 3 times about a used tires and was told we would receive a call right back which never happened. We drove there and talk to them and had to wait about a hour for one used tires that was way over priced. $75 for a used tire seems like it's a little high.

I have dealt with this company on many different occasions and sent others here for parts.I had a shop for 20 years, and for the times I have purchased parts and engines & trans and never had anything bad to say about them. I was always very satisfied with them...

READ REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING PARTS FROM HERE. I called this place because they had an engine and turbo I needed. After I ordered the parts I receive engine only. I call and am told by the staff that the person I spoke to is new and did not know better (blaming their "new"employee). I am told to speak to the owner and once I get a hold of him he acts like they have no fault and that I should speak to person who sold me engine and turbo. This shop is very unprofessional. This is not the fist time this has happened as I found a previous review with the same exact Issue so blaming it on a new employee is an obvious lie.Response to response, I specifically called because you had the engine and turbo together for sale and asked to double check on that and I was confirmed that it was sold together.

Claim they have parts they apparently do not.(suspect Mechanic being lazy) Mechanic refuses to pull parts they do. Waste of a trip.Update: To the lying owner, I was told they already had the part I needed pulled. I offered to pay by card or cash and was told I could "pay cash when I got there to pickup the part". I was told they'd have the parts ready for me . It wasn't a "show up out of the blue".Highly recommend avoiding this place as there are salvage yards that are closer to Bloomfield that will pull parts if they can(one did so for me without a appointment).

They take there sweet time. I was told Monday my drive shaft would be sent out for shipping. I've been watching my mailbox for the past 2 days just to find out they didn't do it till today. Witch you know is no big deal except I have kids and need my vehicle running. So much for thinking people do their job right. It's okay we can starve couple more days no big deal. Thank you very much for your timely manner.

Bought an SUV for a very decent price! The owner was friendly along with the staff..the only downside is the location is in the middle of nowhere although Maps made it easy to find! Make sure you have enough gas to make it 6-10 miles to the next town though or you are stuck! All in all its a decent business, mostly salvage and parts, not a dealership to use if you want a warranty for your purchased vehicle.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!...bought a turbo engine with the turbo from them, they sent it incomplete. Then the owner refused to send me the missing parts and told me just to ship it back. Then held my money for a week and at the end of it wanted to keep part of it. Reported them to the Better Business Bureau, they said I was not the first to complain about their shady business practices

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! 1st the car was advertised to be an 8 seater so I drove over an hour to get it. The pictures looked nice. Well I get there. Its only an 7 seater. No big deal right. I did a little test drive it seemed fine. No lights or sensors on the dash board. The guy only said to get an oil change soon.Seemed like a dream car. Well that turned into a nightmare quickly. As soon as I started.driving it back (an hour) its starts shaking like the wheels are gonna fall off!! And the no traction light came on. Great right! Well I make it home safely thank god. Woke up the next day with a flat tire! Took it to the mechanic apparently there's a slow leak. So I get it replaced and get that oil change.Over 100$ I had to put into it right away A couple of days later the other tire starts doing the same thing!!!!! I can't catch a break! Well the struts are stripped so I had to pay extra to get those fixed and turns out the other 3 are just like that!! So more $ and problems no one told me about. Well the shaking calmed a little so I was like okay everything's good now! NOPE!! Now the check engine and battery light came one! So while I'm.driving at night my lights will shut off momentarily! NONE of these problems were mentioned when I was wanting to buy It. 4,000$ I had to pay to get the car and more to put.into it. I have babies and they knew this!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They only care about $ and not you safety.

Stay away from this company!!! I ordered a part from them and they said that they doublechecked the order. I received the part and it was the wrong one. I called them immediately in June when I received the part. It is now November and I have still not received the refund on the part and I am still getting the runaround. I was just told that I need to call back in 4-6 weeks when the person that originally sent that fulfilled my order has returned to work.

BEWARE!! These folks sent out a bad part, with screws missing, and it was defective. I sent it back and they don't want to refund it because it looks taken apart and the screws are missing!! Can you imagine my surprise when the reason I can't be refunded is the same reason I returned the part! It was a cheap item too, I can't imagine trusting them with an expensive part. They do play games with the names and always saying a manager is unavailable just like other reviews mentioned. First its speak to Lisa or Diane then its Diane doesn't work here, then its Lisa isn't here right now, or the manager just walked out of the door. Just ridiculous. They are never getting my business again, and if you still trust them after reading these reviews don't be mad when you get burned.

I am a small car dealer in Missouri. I called and ordered a radio for a van. Radio arrived and was the wrong radio. I had to call 4 times to get the problem resolved. They resolved it,they told me to pay and return radio and also a 20% restock fee!! I spent 55 dollars for radio and shipping. So in all by the time I pay for shipping I will receive about 8 dollars because of the freight cost .stay away, do business with your local salvage yards. In my opinion they do not stand by there products. I would have to classify them as schiesters!!!!

Cars R us is essentially an auto junk yard where vehicles are either parted out or scrapped. Most of their business is done via the internet. They do have some running vehicles though. By the owners own admission, all of these have "salvage" titles. There was one there that I actually looked at that was visually in good condition and decided I might like it. I did some homework and got a title report which came back clean except for the salvage title (no surprise). I also identified that it had been sold in auction. I found a website that will give you pictures of damaged auction vehicles, a description of the damage, mileage at the time, etc. That was $3 well spent. With this knowledge I went back to Car R Us and I took it for a VERY short test drive. They didn't put any plates on the car, dealer or otherwise. So taking a drive around a few blocks is all you can do without fear of getting a ticket. Due to the damage I knew had occurred, I wanted the body shop I use and a dealer mechanic to inspect it. After my short drive, I asked about keeping it overnight to take it in in the morning for an inspection. Here he started to hem-haw around. It was near closing time (5:00) and the owner said he didn't have time to get the dealer plates around (despite the fact that they work well after closing time nearly every day. I live very close and can hear them working and running their equipment). Anyway, I said I'd be back in the next couple of days so he would have time to do whatever he needed to do. When I went back, he suddenly was very cool to the idea. He said his plates aren't good out of town (?) and that I could only have the car for 1 hour (Armington is a very small town with no services - it takes nearly a half hour to get anywhere, let alone having time for a decent inspection). And due to the remoteness of the business, there s very little chance someone else interested in the car would just drop by when I had it.At this point, we argued a little and I asked if he didn't want to sell the car? He said he did and I made an on the spot offer that was roughly half of what he was asking for it but he declined. So, I'm left to assume there is something more than skin deep wrong with this car and he is hiding it. I was prepared to purchase it the very next day, but not without an inspection. Any car dealer on the up and up is more than happy to let you check a car out in almost any fashion you want. I've even had a dealer to tell me to take a used car home and try it out for a few days. This business has a very bad reputation for the vehicles and parts they sell. Anyone local does little or no business with them. I was hoping they could redeem themselves with this sale. But all they did was cause all sorts of red flags to be raised and lend credance to their reputation.Do yourself a favor. Don't take the risk and take your business elsewhere. BTW - if you are looking for a BBB listing for them, it is under the name "CAR PART HELP". You will never find them under "Cars R Us".BTW - If you DO decide to purchase a car from here, do yourself a favor and check underneath for a Catalytic Converter. They've been known to "disappear".

CARZ R US 1 is Advance Car Parts store. I truly wanted to give this place a five-star review. Because the customer service was magnificent. Unfortunately, they have the parts you need at a decent price.

Be afraid be very afraid, I ordered engine for $1150 told was good and tested and had warranty. I ordered it and had a shop put it in for $400, labor to install, I have used this shop for 13 years with no problems (I am a car dealer) once the motor was put in they called me and said the motor had rod noise under load and also smokes when reved up.When I called Carz to tell them of these issues I found things a bit colder then when I ordered, I told them I could ship it back to them for $90 instead of the $150 they charged me, I was immediately told "oh then I suppose you will want your money back for that to.. they said I would have to have the motor returned and then tested to proceed, I told her to accelerate my loss and refund I could send her a video of it if she liked, no way forget that idea..Anticipating issues from them on my refund I drew up a very complete description and identification of this motor for their delivery person to sign and complete, thus not having them to tell me they did not receive the motor etc further delaying "their process" After no contact from them for 8 days I just called credit card company and had the $1150 charge I had paid them reversed (credited) back to me (after opening a dispute)My shop where I had the motor put in called me, coincidentally the same day as charges reversed, and said he was contacted by Carz R Us and imagine this, they told him they had never received the motor (their retaliatory angle I'm sure and why not just call their freight company first anyway?) He said he explained to them about form I had signed, dated and filled out by their freight company and assured her the motor was picked up by their hired people! After hearing this I called the number on the form I had the freight company sign and complete, I got some young man on the phone that explained to me he only dropped off the motor in some other town near us for them to ship on, I wanted another name to call his superior, and was told he would have to call him first? I then got his name and called him (just curious where the motor really was) he said it was sitting in a warehouse in St Louis as the they had lost all the paperwork (hmmm) and wondered whose motor that was, (this is a company Carz told me they had used for years) ha what a joke, I'm glad I had the foresight to get that form signed or I'm sure my refund would of been in limbo for a long long time and return amount would have been who knows if any. No motor no refund etc.Lastly I called her and told her about the motor deal and said I told him to call her to explain where motor was just FYI, and also told her of the CC reverse deal (like they didn't know) and explained to her if they had any remorse they could help pay the $800 I'm out for installing and then uninstalling their BAD MOTOR! She gasps and says several times oooh I don't know about that! with no offer of any type of consideration for MY $800 LOSS ....AS I SAID, BE AFRAID!..SHOP ELSEWHERE!!Oh and BTW never got any receipt with this motor and my bookkeeper called them to get try and get this for our records, this was BEFORE we contacted them about any issues, when my bookkeeper called and Identified our company she was immediately interrupted and told that this was a good and tested motor! she explained to them she was only calling for a receipt... she then apologized and said she thought she was someone else...ha, sound familiar?

I bought a 1996 chevy S-10 from the owner there and thought I was getting an ok truck. I knew I had to have some repairs done and accepted the fact, what I didn't realize was that the truck was unsafe to drive, more like dangerous to drive! the frame has rusted out near the passenger side that holds up the stabilizer bar for the wheel. then I find out that the catalytic converter was not in the truck but had a straight pipe instead, I called him about these issues, he said to me "I thought I told you there was no catalytic converter in the truck." I said to him, no you didn't tell me this, otherwise I would haven't bought the truck in the first place! then he back tracked and told me that his yard had a break in and a dozen or so cats where stolen and he just put straight pipes in!! I had advised him that that was illegal and he could get fined! he didn't care. just because I signed a paper that said I was buying the truck as-is! BULLCHIT! I will be taking him to court on the repairs that are going to cost me 400 bucks! the truck is going to need a windshield, 4 new tires, engine work, and possibly transmission work as well! DONT BUY ANY CAR/TRUCK FROM THESE SWINDLERS! thank god I paid with my credit card, had the charges reversed!! they don't check the used cars/trucks when they come in! they just list them and then sell them when they come in!!
