Professional, excellent and honest mechanics. Can highly recommend to all, been a loyal customers for years. Many friends have become returning customers after their first visit. Will not tell you unnecessary repairs unless needed and won't overcharge. Great service and reasonable prices.

If you have any kind of car issues, please see Kim at Engine Depot. Kim & his workers are very professional and friendly. I ran into this place when I used to work as a shuttle driver for a hotel down the street. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Arlington Heights.

I've been going here for several years. The owner is super polite and accommodating. He is very honest and prices are competitive. I was convinced I needed rear brake pads today but he said no. Very good mechanic with attention to detail

Very friendly, honest and fair. Those 3 words aren t usually attached with mechanics but I highly recommend Engine Depot to have your car fixed and/or oil changed. Prices are very reasonable for the high quality of work. I ll definitely be returning here for all my car needs!

Great Service, affordable prices, and efficient!I have been coming to this place for the past 4 years already, at first I was skeptical because it was a Korean Spoken shop, and I thought I might have languages barrier issues, but it was not the case. Also, being a woman most shops tend to charge extra wherever I go, for oil change, or anything else. Thankfully it have never happen to me in Engine Depot. I like that they also check what else is going on with your car and let you know of any issue or repair you my need in the next couple months or so but they have NEVER being pushy about getting anything repair by themselves and respect if you want to get it done another time or by another shop.My husband and I have had bad experiences with other shops, but so far with have never have issues with Engine Depot. I totally recommend it.

I've taken my car into Engine Depot several times for work to be done. JC has always been incredibly fair with price and more than kind. On two separate occasions I showed up with something small I needed done, or a question rather, and JC pulled my car in, looked at it, fixed my issue and sent me on my way with no fee. Another time I went in for an oil change and was quoted $30 which I happily agreed to. The work was done and when it was time to pay he told me he realized he quoted $5 higher than he was and I ended up only paying $25 for that oil change, as well as the ones moving forward. I've always felt very comfortable at this shop and have never felt like I was being taken advantage of, and in the auto mechanic business I feel like that's a big deal. I fully recommend checking out this shop if you have car repairs you're looking to get done!

The first time I ever went to Engine Depot, I will never forget this. I had that friction feel/sound whenever I tapped my brakes. I first went to the big boys (supposed brake specialists), and then the dealer. Both insisted that the brakes had to be replaced, and both quoted me well over $1000-$2000. I was devastated. Then my friend introduced me to his uncle Mike Kim who owns Engine Depot, who simply stated that they could repair the current brakes and quoted me around $300. I never had a brake issue on this car again. From that point on, I knew I could count on them for anything car related and not have to worry about being taken advantage of. I always refer them to other friends who are looking for someone reliable and will treat you like their own family.

Stopped in here 11/1/22 and very impressed with the service and costs. JC is very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. I d bring my cars here in the future.

This shop is honest and awesome. Their prices were good and repairs done well. My kid redecorated our van. Dents and mirror broken off. I taped the mirror. Took is in for brakes and they were fixed and so was the mirror and dents with NO CHARGE! Nuff said.

You can't charge $65 for air filter replacement, the part was $23 at autozone.This place charged $42 for the labor. It took only 3 minutes for the mechanic to replace it.One crazy place!! They might have been honest before , but not any more with me. It looks like they rip you off if you sound like you don't know much about cars. Be aware about this place.

On my way home from my daughter's orthadontic appt, my engine was running strange. Engone Depot was close to my location. I stopped in to see what was wrong. It was a $45 diagnostic fee which was waved when i approved the repair. My ignition coil went bad. It was just $145 for parts and labor. The repair was completed in a timely manner. I will definitely be back for tune ups andrepairs. Great Experience!

He left a dent on my bottom edge of the sill. I first noticed about a week after the service. It must have been from mishandling the jack lift. I cannot think of anywhere else I could have gotten it.On top of that, I had a tire rotation done and noticed two of the nuts were pretty loose. Had to tighten them myself.If you must go to this place, make sure to check for damage on your car!!!!

Very polite and friendly. Quick, efficient service at a reasonable rate. They did a great job taking care of some basic maintenance for me at the last minute. I would highly recommend.

It has changed now. Not good service at all. I believe the person who maintained the standards here is no longer there. Now its all about forcing part changes and worst part is they dont do it correct. Got brakes done and still need to go somewhere else to get it fixed properly.
