I needed to get my brakes done on my Toyota Highlander. I first took it to the dealership to find out how much they wanted. They gave me a quote of $2100 which included the rotors and brake pads + labor.I wanted a second opinion-So I called Consentinos Auto shop andI spoke with the manager. I believe his name is Gino, I told him my concerns over the phone and he told me to bring in the car so they could look over it. The conclusion was I ONLY needed my front brakes to be replaced. The rear still had a lot of life left in them. Edgar, the mechanic recommended me to replace the old break fluid since I ve never had it done before. He showed me the old brake fluid compared to the new one, and it was night and day the difference. he also told me never to overflow the brake fluid reservoir because it could cause problems. Never knew this before.He also change my swaybar links since the old ones were broken. Overall had a great experience and I will continue doing business with these guys.Service: Brakes

Gino and his mechanic staff are very knowledge and have worked on numerous cars I own. They fix/explain the issue clearly, and repair the auto problem quickly. Gino is also upfront and explains the timeline for the repair. Gino and his team are the best! My Dad has been bring his cars here since they opened, and naturally my entire family ONLY comes here as well. Gino's team is fast, professional, and knowledgeable. Gino has always treated me like family, and always has the time to break down exactly what is happening with my car and why, as well as all my options to fix it. Even though I live in Lombard now, this is the only place I will bring my car. Thank you Gino for YEARS of trust and incredible service. I have had my cars serviced at Cosentino s Auto Service for good reasons. Cosentino s has provided trouble-free maintenance on three of my vehicles within the past 14 years and Gino has been honest about my automobile issues that did not require servicing, repairing only what was necessary.I was moved to write this review after my most recent car repair. When my car s thermostat failed, Cosentino s replaced it. Months later, the car s check engine light indicated a problem with the engine temperature (it was running too cool). Gino s team accurately diagnosed that the thermostat he previously replaced was defective. Gino stood behind his work, replacing the thermostat for no charge to me. If I could give more than five stars I would. I have been bringing my car to Cosentino's Auto Service for many years. Recently my daughter graduated from college and needed some extensive repairs to her car. We brought the car in and once again, Gino took care of us. He does excellent work at a fair price. Not only that, he treats you like family. He did an outstanding job on the repairs as usual. What impressed me the most about Gino was that he was most concerned with my daughter's safety first and foremost. If you need service to your vehicle, I highly recommend bringing it here.

My parent(s) have been using Cosentino's for 15 years and have had nothing but good things to say. I typically work on my own cars but in this case it was not feasible. Gino treated me like family. He returned my call during off hours, helped with the towing, providing a detailed and accurate (honest) description of the repairs needed, and was more than fair with pricing. I m so grateful to Gino at Cosentino s !! What an awesome place this is! I flew into Chicago to drive my daughter s car back to Atlanta. Immediately I noticed that the brakes were metal on metal. The Firestone Tire shops had no time to see me on short notice, but they recommended Cosentino s.Not only did Cosentino s squeeze me in, he gave me a loaner car while the car was being worked on. I am so thankful, and they did a great job. The car was perfect for the long drive home. Thank you, Gino!!

I found Gino a couple years ago and he has been servicing my car as well as my wife's car and an old car that we kept for my kids to use. Gino has always done great mechanical work and has managed to keep an old car running without breaking my bank which I appreciate. Most importantly for me though I trust Gino. I m new to the neighborhood & was looking for a good place to get a oil change. After going to Cosentino s , it has become the only place I d bring my car. From my first phone call to make an appointment , the courtesy shown was amazing. Gino was honest & very helpful. As a single lady your always worried your going to be taken advantage of, but not here! Amazing customer service and competitive pricing! Gino treats you as if you were family and that isn't something you find everywhere in today's world. I took my car here for a brake service and Gino took tremendous care of me, he not only suggested what should be replaced vs. fixed he provided solid advice on other repairs to be aware of and made recommendations on where to save money. You feel like you are getting the whole truth here and I will continue bringing my vehicles back for service in the future. A++++

I've been going to Cosentino's for all of my auto repairs for the past 10 years. My parents have gone there exclusively as well for many more years. I never question whether or not I'm getting great service for great prices. They've always gone above and beyond. Definitely recommend this place.
