I called Bill on a Monday, and he came out on a Wednesday- during prime Spring season! He came out with his van, tuned-up my lawn mower in 45mins, all without leaving my driveway. Price was quoted upfront and was a fair price! Super friendly and professional! Highly recommend his services!

I was very impressed with the whole experience. Mike was right on time, very friendly and most lmportantly my snow blower ran like new. And I didn t have to leave my house to bring it somewhere! I am so impressed that I have recommended Bill s to everyone I know in need of this service. Well done Mike.

Bill's has been servicing my late 60's Airen's 2-stage snowblower for 2 decades. Ironically, the person I had bought it from also had it serviced by them! Still running strong after all these years! Mike was very accomodating, getting me on the schedule right away, and even delivered a few blocks away to a friends house who purchased it from me. They have switched to a mobile unit now, which is very convenient and I think a great business model. Thanks Mike, for taking great care of my old machine!

We recently had our John Deere rider repaired by this company. They were great! They came out to our house. Mike (the owner) is very responsive, honest, & knows his business. They repaired an oil leak & replaced the transmission belt. Our John Deere rider is working great! It's such a pleasure to do business with a company like this I highly recommend them. This is the third time we have used them & we have always been happy with the service. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Fair pricing, knowledgeable and friendly service and all on-site! Mike got my aerator up and running in just over 1 hour. He educated me on how to better take care of the engine but in no way was he condescending. His expertise, honesty and experience was truly appreciated. Yes, it took 3 weeks to get an appointment, but take that as a sign of their quality and professionalism...it s also spring lawn season in a pandemic, so lighten up people! Highly recommend!

Was so looking forward to having my snow blower repaired. Waited 13 days for the appointment, had to shovel by hand for 2 major snow events along with several small snow days during that time, but knew the blower was going to be fixed soon!! Planned to work from home on the day of repair, then got the call 31 minutes before the appointment!! The tech hurt his back and there is no one else to cover the appointment! Feel better soon! I'll be going elsewhere for the repair!

Awesome experience with Bill! I had a relatively newish snowblower that got beat up over a few seasons. Bill and his team made the process super simple. We scheduled an onsite visit that same week. Bill showed up and knocked out ALL the repairs on site in his mobile workshop. My snowblower was literally like brand new. Reasonable pricing as well! I plan on booking Bills each season to just do a little tune up to make sure I'm ready to rock. Overall, professional, thoural, and reliable!

Very Satisfied with the level of service. I had 2 lawn mowers and a trimmer repaired here. This place is not cheap, but you do get good quality repairs and straightforward information. Definitely worth it.Also, when the equipment were delivered, my wife paid an extra $100 (2 bills were stuck together), the driver left but later the office called her to let her know that she overpaid. Very Honest Establishment.

We have had Bill's Power Repair service our lawnmower snowblower and generator. By having Bill's fix and service our equipment they have saved us thousands of dollars buying new equipment. The cost is so reasonable. They come to the house (a blessing since all this equipment is so heavy) and our service technician (have had the same one service all our equipment) is so knowledgable and professional. Highly recommend Bills Power Equipment Repair. Thank you

I left my generator with gas in it for several years and tried to clean it up to get it working again but I couldn't get it to work. Mike came same day and repaired it and it works like new now! Fair pricing, quick work and great expertise.

Wonderful service! I told the service person on the phone that my lawn mower cord did not wind back, so the mower would not start. They knew that the mower needed a new spring, so that the cord would recoil.I took the mower took to their shop. They rushed to fix the mower. They did a good job. My mower runs like new!I highly recommend them!

I've tried a few repair shops. Bill's Power Equipment Repair is by far the best I have found. They were a referral from Sherwin Ace Hardware. My two stage Toro snow-thrower hasn't been throwing snow like it uses to for the past two years. They found the problem and fixed it, when the other shop couldn't. But what I value just as much as a skilled repairman is good customer service & honesty. They were patient answering my questions, explaining in detail how the failed part was causing the problem, showing me where the part is & how to extend the life of the part.

Horrible customer service. I ordered blades and other tune up items for my mower on a Wednesday because they were close to my home. I was told they'd be there by Friday. Friday passed and I called them on Saturday because I needed to service my mower that weekend. They said they only had one blade, the other one was coming from a "different shipper". I hung up and scrambled to find blades. A Sears center had them. So I came into Bill's to get my other items. When I got there I said I don't need the one blade because I'm getting both at Sears but I will still buy the 4 other items I ordered. The man at the counter gave me attitude saying "might as well just get every thing there then." He started arguing with me because he "special ordered" the blades for me (a very common blade for Craftsman) to which I finally said I ordered 2 not 1 and they were supposed to be here Friday and I received no correspondence. He kept giving me attitude and when I checked out, there was no air filter. To which he said "well I didn't know if you were still coming in today so I used it for another mower" really?! When I got home, the spark plug and fuel filter weren't even the right ones for my mower and I have him the exact model and type number of the engine! Unbelievable. Horrible service, rude workers. Bad all around. Sears Direct got me everything I needed same day, should have made the extra 15 minute drive to begin with.

Look for this trailer with a snow blower ontop. Google maps had a mistake where the business is located. I updated the address and it is being reviewed. Great business. Mike is an awesome guy to work with. Will definitely come back if I ever need repairs on my lawn mower or even snow blower in the winter time.

This company is fabulous! Had my Toro snowblower repaired (belt, paddles & scraper). Provided excellent service. Communicated ahead of time ; showed up on time; provided repairs in short time. EXCELLENT!! Would use again for any small engine repairs.

I procrastinated getting the snowblower ready for winter, and when I went to start it anticipating the inevitable, of course it wouldn't start, even with an electric starter. I had no idea where to go, especially since it would have to be picked up. I found Bill's on the web and called. I was quoted a reasonable price and pickup/delivery fee, so I asked if they worked on generators since the one I had hadn't started for 'a while'. It too was picked up and within four days I received a call they were both ready and were delivered the next day. I was educated on how to prevent the same issue in the future. So far I'm very pleased with the service I received and the reasonable price and great turn-around. Thanks.

Purchased a snowblower from them last year. Worked fine for a season. Once the machine stopped working and I called them to order repair parts, they said that they don t sell parts.Feels like quite a scam to continue getting you to come back for their service .Won t be purchasing any equipment from them ever again.

I went here last year to get my blades sharpened. They did it on the spot for only 6 bucks! They did a much better job than I would have if I had my own angle grinder. They also got my a spark plug for only a few dollars too, which I didn't end up needing, regardless this place is great.

Brought a riding lawnmower in because the engine would not start after I heard a lound back fire. Could have been anything and I was prepared to pay dearly. It came back working with a $35 bill, and they even gave me a key which was missing. Awesome shop. I am now about to bring them my small lawn mower, a small snow thrower, and a large snow thrower because none of them run after sitting for 3 years.

Absolutely the best Toro service I have seen in the last 30 years in the NW suburbs. Others want you to wait 3 to 4 weeks for service. Bill's had it done within a day. Excellent experience!

Bills repair is about the the best in the Midwest. I had a mini bike motor that needed the crankshaft cut down for the centrifugal clutch and recut the keyway. They did it like 3 days. Amazing and perfect.
