I m very impressed by the work the Autotech team did on my Jeep. I brought in parts purchased online, and they quoted by a base labor rate to install. As soon as questions came up, they were quick to call me and have a discussion on how to proceed. All of this done with a smile and at a fair price. I ll definitely be back here again!

Highly recommend this auto shop! Nice people, and the prices can't be beat. I had to replace tie rods and control arms. I know most places would have charged me at least double, if not triple, since it is a big job and I drive a VW.

I moved to the area not long ago & needed a simple tire swap on my rim. I avoided this repair for weeks due to anxiety of finding a new shop. I come from a small town & have always had my spot where I go for repairs minus the dealership. I was highly impressed & felt right at home, the service was friendly, quick & personable. Autotech did an AMAZING job helping me with a tire blowout on my car. My tow truck dropped off my vehicle just before close and the workers made tremendous effort to get the stuck spare tire off the car. After working on it for close to an hour they finally got it off and had me out in 10 mins. Special thanks to Tina who stayed with me and not only helped to update me, call a tire shop, and offer to drive me there to grab a replacement, she also kept me busy with conversation. 10/10 would recommend.Service: Tires

I had my Gmc truck towed into Auto Tech for major repairs due to a bad engine. End result was replacing the entire engine with a new one. Victor did an amazing job explaining to me what was wrong as well as all repair options. Pricing was the lowest out of three other quotes. I'm so happy and relieved that I found a trustworthy experienced mechanic. This was my first time here and definitely won't be my last. Turned a horrible situation into a good experience with excellent results. Thank you to you and your team!!

I needed the starter replaced on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler and I can't speak highly enough of the job that AutoTech did on servicing my vehicle. Not only were they fast and affordable, Victor allowed me to borrow his car overnight so I wouldn't have to take an Uber back to the city. I will continue to use AutoTech for all of my vehicle needs and you should do the same, these guys are simply the best out there!

I brought my car in today because I heard rattling sound when I turned it on and Victor without hesitation checked it out then put it on the lift and it happened to be the clamp that was rusted out and falling off the muffler so he put a new one on and I was on my way. I absolutely recommend this place as a shop of choice The whole team is absolutely awesome

My dad and I drove four hours for a hospital visit in Arlington Heights. As we were leaving the hospital we noticed that one of my tires had lost air. We called several tire shops in the area and the shortest wait was two hours to even get it looked at.As we were trying to decide what to do my dad said to pull into AutoTech. The guys there had it up and the tire off within minutes. I had run over a piece of metal. They plugged the hole and had the car ready to go in less than 10 minutes. We made it home safely to StL. We cannot thank them enough!Service: Tires

I couldn t be happier I stumbled across this shop. The price was extremely fair. Within cents of the phoned in quoted price. Time frame was a tad skewed I think due to my own misunderstanding. And the job was done perfectly.I meant to write this sooner and had some events come up that distracted me for a bit. I needed pads done on my car BADLY to the point it was almost caliper on disk (if you don t know what that means. Just know.. that s bad) as I am always running I didn t have time to bring it in sooner. They were very professional about it didn t shame me or try to use scare tactics or anything like that. The price was within cents of the quote over the phone. Time line was off by maybe a half hour. However again I think that was due to my misunderstanding.I have a background in working on cars even to the point I ve restored 3 personally. A jeep. A salvage title and a 1998 BMW. My daily driver I don t personally work on as I just need that thing to be on the road so I always take it in for service and be not mistaken this is definitely my shop of choice from now on. So much so. I am bringing my best friend s moms car early next month for service and have recommended them to over 90 of the people I know in the local area.To respect their business I won t put cash value numbers down. I ll say the shop I used to frequent. Charged me 300% of the cost that this shop did for the same brake job. So this shops prices are much more fair, and if you re anything like me.. you don t like throwing away money.. do yourself a favor. Call them get in there and get back on the road safely. They ll make it happen.Service: Brakes

I am so thankful for Victor and his staff at Autotech. My family and I were literally in a standstill on a Friday evening when our sliding door for our Honda Odyssey failed and would not close. My wife tried calling around and had no luck. Honda was willing to schedule an appointment for the following Monday. Luckily, my wife remembered seeing Autotech off of Arlington Heights and Central Rd. She called and they offered to take a look.Wow, within 5 minutes of arriving, Victor and his staff took a look and fixed the problem. Victor was patient and explained what happened. The Nicest thing was that Victor did not charge! There was no doubt in my mind and wallet that I should have paid but Victor was so gracious and asked for a review.Even as I write this review, I am still shocked and thankful. This was such a great experience, not to mention how comfortable I felt just being inside Autotech. The inside was sprinkled with a bit of Christmas, pictures on the wall, a nice couch, and even a heater to keep the area warm. It was very welcoming. Victor, the staff at Autotech were great!!! Thank you!! My family and I will be going back to have our vehicles serviced. I would encourage anyone reading this review to give them a GO!!

Called to ask for a ballpark price on brakes. The man I spoke with on the phone was not very friendly and quoted me quickly on a price w/out even looking up prices and asking me more about my car other than what year and make of car I had. I will NOT bring my car to someone who can't take the time to look up the cost. Speedy phone call must mean speedy shotty work. Poor customer service.

I really don t like posting bad reviews unless it s completely justified. In this case, it is. My car would not start, and I was pretty sure it was a bad starter. I had my car towed to AutoTech because it was near me and there were pretty good reviews. My first time going there. Although the guy was pretty short on the phone, he did say they would look at my car the same day. They did not look at it till the end of the second day. Ok fine. Not a huge issue. My problem lies with after they replace my starter, and I am about to come pick it up.I get a call saying there is another problem. The power steering is not working. This is odd as there was nothing wrong with it previously and I don t understand how it could go bad with the starter. The guy, I believe is Victor, says its going to cost 240 (or about) to figure it out. Something about a bad fuse. He is short and speaks fast so it was hard to keep up. Upset about it costing so much to check a fuse, I go in and want to talk to them. He takes me in back and I talk to the tech. He explains they are testing more and shows me everything going on. He thought the connection at the power starting pump was corroded and would get back to me later. Accepting that as a reasonable explanation, I go home expecting a call later.That night I get a call saying the power steering module needs to be reprogramed. I must go to a Ford dealer to fix. But there was no charge for the time they spent looking. Really angry and with no option, I go and pick up my car. Pay for the starter repair and drive home no power steering. Fast forward a few days, I have taken it to Ford and they fixed the issue. Cost me another 300 dollars and a weeks time with no car. What was the problem. The power steering module was unplugged and needed to be reprogramed. To their guess, the car was started without it plugged in and that caused the programming to be lost.Obviously, I have no proof of any wrongdoing on AutoTech, but I have a very high suspicion they forgot to plug it back in for whatever reason and caused this issue. Probably why they did not charge me anything to look it over. There is no logical explanation of why the power steering would go bad when there is an issue with the starter. I talked to a few mechanics, and they really did not have any idea how the two issues related. I am no mechanic myself, so I won t say I know this or know that. It s just to suspect. I did not call them back because I know how it will go. But what a disappointment!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I can t thank AutoTech enough for how much they ve done for our family, we won t go anywhere else! They are communicative, honest, and fair. They had my car ready the next day and they were great about helping me work in my budget. Edit: this happened months ago but it dawned on me this is important to update. After "thoroughly" inspecting my car, it died 5 days later. A $15 car battery tester from Amazon told me repeatedly on different days (to test for flukes) that the battery was weak/dead. After jumping the car and driving it aggressively for 30 minutes the tester was still showing weak battery and I was barely able to start the car again. Got the battery replaced at my dealer and I got repeated results that the new battery was good. If a cheap tester can repeatedly tell me such an important issue that doesn't just develop over 5 days then that should have absolutely been caught in the inspection. Battery has been fine ever since so it isn't something like a parasitic leak, just a simple dying battery. They did a good job installing new tires though so I won't rate them too low.Victor and his crew treated my Audi like it was their own. Good service at a fair price and they're open on Saturday, all I can ask for.

I had a wonderful experience working with Victor and his team at AutoTech. After having taken my car to a few other mechanics for an opinion, Victor offered us the most honest and thorough opinion. He even took the time to show us exactly what the problem was and how he had planned to repair it. His service was fair and timely and I would certainly trust him with any mechanic work that I need done in the future.

Super fast, super friendly, super deals. I've had some bad experiences in the past with unethical places, but Victor and the rest of AutoTech are phenomenal. They are reasonable, fast, and always friendly, even when we barrage them with questions or requests. Extremely well priced, too. The best shop I've been to - they have lifelong customers in my family. Thanks Victor!!

Brought my car in for an oil change in the afternoon and it was done by the end of the day. Worked with David from start to finish. He was extremely friendly, and has great attention to detail with his work. Oil change came with a free inspection and I was very pleased with the service, professionalism, and friendliness. AutoTech has been doing great work on my wife's and my car for 4 years now. Pricing is reasonable, service is great, and repairs are done right the first time. I'm very appreciative that they have Saturday hours. My daughter loves that they have treats inside; a very comfortable waiting area and free coffee is also available. Victor is a great guy to work with!

The guy who I believe runs the place is so honest and straightforward as well as very kind and patient. I'm young woman who doesn't know too much of anything about cars. Instead of taking advantage of that to earn an extra dollar like most Mechanics would.. this guy helped me out alot, and walked me through things that didn't know much about. It was nice doing business with this guy ! Definitely will return back to get service done on my new vehicle if need be, thanks for everything !

Victor and his team are just amazing! If you want top notch service and a mechanic that will fight for you, this is the place to go. I took my 2017 Chrysler 300 to have checked out for a knocking sound and knew that it most likely will be significant repair costs. What I did not know is that a piston had fell out and the entire engine had to be replaced!Victor quickly instructed me to call my extended warranty to see if it was covered. The process sent us through an inspection that the insurance company was not happy in covering for me. Nevertheless, Victor fought for the coverage and won! My previous engine had 27K miles and now I have one that is one 7K and drives like a dream.Thank you AutoTech for everything, you guys have won a customer for life :)

Just moved out to Arlington Heights a year ago and been looking for a good mechanic shop. This place is outstanding, I had brought my Buick to two other places and they could not find the problem. Victor and Rob were great, they not only fixed the problem but also took the car to get emissions tested to make sure that repair was done correctly. They kept me up to date on what was being done and pricing was fair. Outstanding service and great family run shop.

The staff there is wonderful!! Victor is always very nice and polite. They have done work on my daughter's Kia, my husband's Ridgeline and also my Pilot.I will always take my vehicle to them. These guys are the best. My girlfriend had to drop my car off for me and when I called to tell them, they offered her a ride home! Saved her money on an uber or a friend picking her up. The work they did was outstanding and a fair price! They even pointed out a flaw from the last mechanic that worked on my car and educated me on procedures a mechanic should do when a car overheats. They took care of me in a big way. Good honest hard working people. I highly recommend!

I hav been looking good mechanic shop. .and I found auto tech. I saw not only a+work excellent rates but great reviews for auto tech. And they proved me that..these guys are professional, honest, friendly, affordable prices, fast and high quality service. I'm new customer but they treat me like family. Manger Victor is best ...Victor give me fair price quote for my second visit .he tells u explain what wrong and how they going to fix it ..they replaced and repair break pads,rotors, flex pipes . They hav free shuttle service is plus. Victor makes sure next day calling me back that my car works fine ...well definitely I'll keep coming back. .also recommend everyone come to this place. .God bless everyone in auto tech. ..

Ten years ago, my son and I were stranded at a gas station after the fuel pump on our car quit. As if by a miracle, an AutoTech tow truck pulled into the station! They rescued us! I've been taking my car to AutoTech ever since. Victor and Robbie treat me like family. More recently, while Trino, their senior mechanic, put in a new transmission, I used their loaner car to complete my errands.I trust Auto Tech to be honest with me and charge me a fair price. Their waiting room is clean and comfortable and there is always a bowl of fresh fruit, coffee and cookies. I've met the owner, Robert, a couple times and he was courteous and interested in the work being done on my car. This showed me that the kindness and work ethic at the shop start at the top.
