I wouldnt go anywhere else but advance for my transmissions. We use them on all our service vehicles. They are quick and get it done with a smile on their face! Thank you so much for all the help over the years!

John and his team repaired my 2011 equinox transmission. Transmission had no reverse and would not shift out of first going forward. John quoted me a very fair price and repaired the transmissionin about 1 week. Final price was within 1% of the quote and the car works perfectly. Repair comes with 1 year warranty. I was on a cross-country trip with my family and the transmission on my Suburban leaked some fluid. I explained the issue to John and he was able to check the car on the same day, despite being very busy. It turned out the transmission was overfilled. He did not charge me a dime !!!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

John was a great guy. Repaired my 99 Tahoe trans. When he returned it. The rear bumper was damaged. We discussed the damage, he agreed to replace the bumper. He ordered the parts, then bad symptoms began with trans. He took it back, made follow up repairs,but he only tried straightening the bumper rather than replace it. Still could not open the rear doors. I wasn't driving it much after that, but it runs fine. Good job on the trans work. 4 months later, I'm still waiting for the bumper to be replaced. And going to guess my warranty will run out even though I haven't had the vehicle to drive. It was mostly at John's shop waiting for bumper parts. Still waiting. Does not return calls. Sorry for the bad review John, but it is what it is.Follow-up:It took a while but John got the bumper fixed. Thanks for your help. And again, John still did a great job on the transmission.

My 2006 Toyota Solara transmission had a leak. My mechanic told me it costs $3,500.00 to have a rebuilt transmission, I was freaking out. I had my car towed to Advanced Transmissions in Arlington Height. Cody inspected the transmission, he said diagnostics indicated the issue was related to the computer. But added I believe it's the sensor within the transmission and asked for my permission to try that first as it would save me a ton on money. Cody spoke with me on a daily basis regarding the status of my car. He installed the sensor the diagnostic was clean and my car runs perfectly. Cody and Advanced Transmission did a stellar job 5 stars, at a fraction of cost. I would highly recommend. *****

I would never recommend this place I brought my truck , because was vibrating at 30 to 40 miles, and they told me that it was the shaft center support bearing they replaced it, but the problem continued later the part that they replaced twice was damaged, I had to take it back to get another cheap part plus they charged around $400 for the bearing and one U joint, but the initial problem couldn't solve it they are incompetent, everyone in that place please save your shelf a headache with these cheap mechanics The only excellent thing the owner John can do is steal, charging high prices

They do good work. Going to be expensive just because it's a transmission. But I take my car there for transmission work
