Not happy with the hidden fees and service provided with buying a new set of tires. Asked for the spare to be replaced with one of the tires being taken off there.. they did not do that. Asked for the fluids to be checked. They didn't do that.. didn't receive an alignment printout letting me know the tires would not wear funny.. hidden fees with shops costsand didn't explain the costs of roadside.and charge me an additional tire disposable fee for a tore they didn't dispose of.

I have had two times when I took a vehicle to the Alton location. The first time was my daughter's car with a check engine light on. I was told that she needed both catalytic converters replaced at $1500. We took it to a different place and they fixed it for $300. It was an O2 sensor. Took my wife's van to them and they checked the engine light and told me that I needed a knock sensor $1100. It was a thermostat replacement and they did that for $520 with an oil change and tire rotation. I gave them a 3 star rating because they are not all bad. They do a great job on oil changes and even the thermostat was good.

Had my new tires mounted and balanced here. they were fast friendly and did a great job ..tires are expensive it's not their fault(economy is ish rn vote better next time don't just complain)

Tire Choice in Alton is fantastic! They repaired a flat tire during an ice storm quickly & at a great price! Other service centers weren t open b/c of the bad weather. Totally saved my day. Thank you!

Great customer service by Tiffany! While doing maintenance I found a tire with two delamination splits. I have an odd size 15 inch tire that I was unable to find anywhere - until I called Tire Choice in Alton. Tiffany took my call, patiently repeated a lot of information as I asked questions, and indicated they had four Kumho tires that size in stock and fortunately same-day appointment availability. Everywhere else I was going to have to wait 2-7 days. Upon arrival, Tiffany greeted me, went over the package options, and checked in my vehicle with a floormat/seat cover. I now have four safe tires for a reasonable price!

Brought in a trailer tire with a screw in it. I was open about it being a time sensitive issue, and the guy at the desk assured me he'd get right on it. I have waited for going on 90 minutes now and still no sign of my wheel. The place is called "Tire"Choice. I understand if you are understaffed, but do not lie to customers to retain their business. I could've had the Tire fixed elsewhere and been back on the road and hour ago.

I came in looking for tires for my car, and got a quote that was hard to beat and they could get it done next day. This would be a good story, however, upon receipt of the mounted tires, I was mortified to find chips and scratches all over my wheels, see the pictures attached. I have contacted the parent company and will update my review if they choose to make this situation right by me. I hope this is the result of individual carelessness and not institutional of Monro Inc, the parent company of Tire Choice.

Took almost 3 hr to get tires put on, they didn't do an alignment or anything else, and I paid over a $1000. DOT GO HERE!!! LOTS OF OTHER PLACES THAT ARE CHEAPER.

I live in Missouri, but my daughter had a dentist appointment in Illinois and on the way home, something seemed off with my tires and car. I Googled tire shops and this business popped up.I pulled into the parking lot and dreaded going inside - this place was busy and I assumed the wait would be long, if they could get me in at all.Much to my surprise, they got my car in immediately. They test drove my car, looked at my tires, brakes, etc and kept me informed of the issues they discovered. Unfortunately I didn t get their names, but they were amazing ! I purchased new tires not too long ago that are in my garage, but when it s time to buy new tires again, I m certainly going to make the trip there. Friendly, fast and professional. Thanks so much for accommodating me. You made my crummy day much better !

After a not-so-good experience with another tire place, I was a little skeptical when I walked into AutoTire Car Care Center near the Alton Mall (Alton, IL). I was new to the area and more than a little nervous about getting new tires (and maybe, getting ripped off).Khalid's natural warmth and sincerity put me at ease immediately. (I believe Khalid is the store manager.)He addressed me respectfully and listened - really listened - to my concerns and then went to work to figure out what I needed on my little Prius C ("Seabiscuit").I showed him a competitor's "best price" for four new Michelin "Energy Saver" tires (specifically for hybrids), and he matched the price and got me signed up for a $50 manufacturer's rebate.In other words, he saved me at least $50 and I now have Michelin tires on my sweet little car. He had the tires at his shop within three hours (which was very impressive) and once I arrived at the shop, he said that he'd have me out of there in an hour, but in fact, I was out the door in about 20 minutes. I didn't even have time to pull out my laptop and do some work - and I'm very pleased about THAT!!It had been a very hard time in my life, with lots of challenges in being recently widowed, moving to a new area, trying to start a new life and all the accompanying difficulties, but Khalid did everything just right, and I left there feeling like things really will start getting better.That's no joke. This guy is doing much more than selling tires; he's showing those of us that are tired and beat down that there are still kind souls wandering the earth, and eager to help. Really and truly.I've been buying tires for cars since 1975, and I have never had a more pleasant, positive and even joyous experience that I had at AutoTire Car Care Center.I'm a tough customer and hard to please, but Khalid did everything just right. I highly recommend.

Very friendly staff. It did not take long to install 4 tires. Explained what I wanted in a tire and so far very pleased with what the salesman recommended. Will make this place my new business for all my service needs.

I noticed that one of my tires were wearing unevenly, and the others were due soon. I was able to make an appointment the same day after work to fit my schedule. Craig and his team had my truck ready to go with new tires and an alignment in a short period of time. I highly recommended Craig as he was very helpful, courteous, and informative to get me back on the road in no time! If you need any work, call and ask for Craig!

After having gone to other auto shops around town, I am glad I found Tire choice. They were able to get me an appointment quickly and when I needed to reschedule there was no fuss and they moved it to a better time and date. Once I brought my car in Craig Hartman greeted me and walked me through the process of replacing my tires. He didn t try and force me into the most expensive brand but was knowledgeable about what he had in stock and worked with me to find the best set of tires for my car. Very much appreciated and will be coming back when my car needs more service.

I would double check pricing with other places before you go here. Priced tire other places they said they could get them same day. When I went in the price was 75% higher than two other places. Not a little higher 75% higher. They hoped I d just pay it and go on about my day

My husband visited Tire Choice and had a great experience. We scheduled my maintenance at Tire Choice, as well, and I also had a great experience. I have a new car (less than a year old) and the staff found an issue and directed me to contact me dealership, as it should be covered by my warranty. Other than that, the staff that I came in contact with were very nice. I will definitely be back!

Derek was the gentleman that helped me. Good communication, friendly, good personality and laughed at my jokes. Service was great, turn around time was very quick. Very few places open on a Sunday, even fewer that have as fast a turn around time without a mistake like they did. Highly recommended.

This is a terrible place. I took my car in for a oil change a few months back and one of the employees stripped my drain plug on my car. Ok mistakes happen. I brought it back in thinking they would fix the stripped plug by drilling a hole re-tapping it and putting a new plug in. But come today I found out that they didn't even fix it. They just put silicone around it and installed a new bolt and called it a day. Absolutely unexcusable. It was a temporary fix so it could be blamed on another shop. I really encourage that corporate does a hard look into their employees and their practices

Horrible! I called this morning and made an appointment to have a tire plugged. I get there and am told their drill broke so they couldn t help me, and they couldn t call me because they didn t take my phone number. I will not be doing business with them again.

Tire Choice in Alton is the place to go. The staff there are very professional. Derek specifically goes above and beyond to ensure all this customer knows what s going on with the car and how to fix if. He was also very quick to let me when when my vehicle was expected to be worked on and when it will be completed. Tire Choice is where I will be taking all my vehicles from now on.

We were making a long-distance trip hauling our boat. The trailer needed a tire repaired quickly and on short notice plus we wanted to expand the holes for mounting the spare tire.. The staff at Tire Choice showed genuine enthusiasm for making the repairs. The tire was repaired very thoroughly and the manager explained why the holes had become too small for mounting the spare tire. He then expanded the holes himself. We were very impressed with the service and the expertise demonstrated by the staff and manager and recommend this shop to anyone needing help with their tires..

Just had an oil change done and my battery light was on. Thanks to them I found out the alternator needed replacing. Much better to know that now rather than on a long drive middle of nowhere. Thanks to Chuck, Darrion, and Derrick for taking good care of me.
