We were in Alton on a weekend get away and my tire kept losing air. They got us in immediately and identified the issue and recommended a new tire they do not stock tires. All the tire shops had 3-4 hour waits. The tech found a used tire and got it mounted promptly. This will allow us to get back home and get tires. Super friendly and helpful! Midas definitely has the touch. The guys are so warm and welcoming. They make you feel comfortable with diagnostic information. I love how they don't rush their work or drag it out too long. Everything was explained upfront and approximate time of completion was provided. The wait area is clean and spacious. I recommend this location for all necessary vehicle maintenance and needs that they service. Local, honest & affordable.

Always in and out in a timely manner without them trying to talk me into unnecessary services. Just a heads up though, they don't participate in the advertised coupon deals that the Midas locations in the STL area do

Excellent. Credit where credit is due. I was hesitant but, called for a quote. Very professional. They followed up and gave more details. They got me in and out at quoted price. The people were kind, professional and personable. Excellent service. Thank you

If I could put 0 I would, My parents have gone here for years and recently we went for an oil change on my car only for them to rip a whole in my floor board and not do anything about it but blame it on us. I've been dealing with this Midas for 2 years and regret ever since they touch my car I spent over 5 or $6,000 getting my car fixed with them they always try to send me to the dealership to get my car fixed which Car-X did a awesome job Midas they could not fix my heater they always fix my car the owner Todd got mad because I had to get my money back because they was playing guessing games on what I should get done to my car while my check engine light was on and he still upset about that every time I call them and tell them I need them to look at my car now I need new rotors that they already put on my car and they put new brakes they just do a horrible job I'm going to Car-X where they actually can fix my car you just lost me as a customer I am so glad that after I called yesterday about a light bulb if I bring my own part you going to charge me regular price to put a light bulb on you're done

Todd and crew are very knowledgeable. I went for an oil change n he caught another problem with my car sway bar. I greatly appreciate the swift repair. It was completely broken on one side... Alton Street. Smh

Took my car there to have brakes checked because they were squealing. After inspecting my car, they told me the brakes were fine, and the technician even took me under the car to show me why the brakes might be squealing even though they didn't need to be replaced. Basically gave me free, honest advice and then sent me on my way. Great place...thanks!!

They're quick, polite, honest and reasonably priced. I went in thinking I needed brakes but they were honest enough to tell me I didn't instead of taking advantage of me. That alone will keep me going back!

I have had my vehicles serviced here for well over 10 years. They charge less for labor than many local independently-owned shop, and they have never steered me wrong. They love their loyal customers, and they do honest, reputable work that is warranted at their shop and honored at other Midas shops throughout the US (which we've had to take advantage of only once). They know what they're doing and will tell you if a repair isn't worth making so that you don't waste your money. They absolutely have done right by my wife and I with all the vehicles of ours that they've serviced, and for as long as we can, we will continue to give them our business.

Got new brakes all the way around, after I left started to hear a squeal from them but being new I expected it. Didn't go away after a week so took it back and they looked at it, they told me a rear pad wasn't seated all the way in and they fixed should be fine. Didn't hear anything right away so thought it was fixed but the noise came back so took it back. They warranties out the rear pads since they told me the inboard and outboard pads were switched. Noise is still here so if I take it back it will be the 4th time being there in a month from the initial changing of the brakes from old ones. The squeal sounds like if you have worn the pads down to the wear indicator, that bad metal on metal sound. One of the guys has been trying to be very helpfully through it all which is good but would like it done correctly.Service: Brakes

My engine light was on for an evap system leak and I took it in to have them fix it which they did and a few days later the check engine light came back on for the same problem. So they checked it again and told me they did everything they could but that I would to take it to a dealership to have them fix it since it is a known issue for jeeps. They reimbursed me for my previous payment when I took it the first time as well. Super professional and fast. Highly recommend.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Straight talk, explained everything and worked with me to find the best solution to our brakes and exhaust issues. Cheaper than the estimates received from our dealer or another national chain (that name begins with an M , too!!). You ll be glad you trusted them.

I had to have my truck towed to Midas originally I talked to the secretary and it was fine to do so for a diagnostic test. Once the Jeep was there they told my sister they couldn t leave it there Because the parking lot had been re tarred or something but why wasn t that told to me from the beginning? I almost had to pay for another tow service to move it and it was so inconvenient
