Started going to Drake tire in 2023 and have really loved going there whenever I need my oil change or any issues with my tires. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and as a woman I ve never felt like they ve ripped me off or tried to get money out of me. They have very fair prices and are honest people. Would definitely recommend for oil changes, tire rotations, and usual car maintenance.

I was told by a dealership because my tire was bouncing that I needed a new rim. However, a friend of mine referred me to this establishment. They looked at my tires. They looked at my rim, tested the balancing in the tire and come to find out, it wasn t a rim. It was a steel belt that had gone bad in the tire, this is a very courteous staff eager to help you and give you the full explanation of what is going on with your vehicle. I ended up getting new tires no rim needed and pulled out of their place. Very happy. Also The staff is Courteous and knowledgeable on what they are doing. I will no longer take my car to the dealership for anything. I will always bring my car here. Great job guys.

I wrecked my car a quarter mile down.The road had it towed here before they even opened. My Car was undriveable, and every single garage was full of cars they had to fix. But they still squeezed me in and fixed my car. In less then 2 days before I had to leave the state, it was awesome experience!!!! They helped me out so much!!!!!

I was visiting Alton one Friday, and suddenly my low tire pressure indicator came on and said I had one tire with ten psi less than the other three. Not knowing Alton, I googled "tire repair," and found Drakes. I went there about 3:30 PM, and they got me right in. They removed a nail, patched, not plugged, the hole and adjusted the pressure in all the tires. The two men I worked with, Chris and Steve, were the nicest guys you'd ever want to deal with, and provided the best service anyone could ever ask for. Thank you so much, Chris and Steve!

Stopped by after running over a nail while in the area. I was in and out with a repaired tire in less than 45 minutes. Thank you for your courteous help and sense of urgency! As I waited in the lobby, it was evident that this group cares about their customers!

Talk about an emergency stop! I was about to hit the road for a 6 hour drive when I noticed a problem with my tire. I stopped by Drakes explained what happened and my urgency. THEY TOOK TIME TO LISTEN AND HELP! So much thankfulness for helping me get back on the road. JIM YOU ARE AMAZING!

My husband called Drake the Wednesday before thanksgiving mid afternoon. I need a tire replaced and had ordered the tire online from elsewhere. Nobody else could get us in. Chris was awesome and got us right in and had the bad tire off and the good tire on. He also gave us an amazing deal. I will definitely be using Drake for any needed repairs, etc! I would recommend calling Drake before you waste your time with any other tire and auto in Alton!!

Drake Tire Auto does good work! New to area, not know many people or places to go. When my car stops to work, take it to this place. They did really good! Fast and not a lot expensive. Very please.

Was traveling from Jacksonville to St.Louis for a Dr. Appt when I hit a flat, made it to Drake Tire & Auto Service luckily and was greeted by Chris at the front desk. Explaining my situation they got me in quickly and started working on my tire. Was very friendly and professional, if I lived in the area I would be back to give them more business.

I love this place! It s where I always take my car for oil changes and any other issues. The guys always remember me and ask about my family and work, and are more than willing to answer my questions or just take a look at my car if I m concerned. I recently went in because one of my brake lights was out to get a quote on replacing it - they came outside right away, found a second light out that I hadn t noticed, replaced them both right away, and had me on my way in no time! I was fully expecting to have to schedule a time for later. They genuinely care about how safe my car is for the road. Fast, friendly, quality service, and much more affordable than when I used to take my car to the dealership.Thanks guys!! See you soon for my next oil change. :)

I took my car to get all new tires and a oil change. There treated me with respect and was very knowledgeable. Chris and Jim were super nice too me. I will be taking my car there again. Thanks guys!

If i could give Drake ten stars, i most definitely would. I had went and my car serviced at another facility. They replaced my radiator, but didn't replace over 12 screws or tighten bolts. The bumper wasn't secured, neither was the reserve tank, and the battery was wiggling around on the mount. There was 6 workers underneath my car problem solving. They traced wires n secured them, they let me see everything that was done. 1st of all Jim F took me around the corner so that he could hear n experience what had me so alarmed. I have a follow up appointment more work. Thank you jesse, steve, jason, and the others.

Excellent service for great value at spure of the moment. Tire went flay close to store and limped in. They had a used tire in good shape available that fit and were able to get my tire changed and back on the road before I even got settled in to read in the waiting room. Definitely a great experience.

Fast. Friendly. Professional. Priced other stores in the area for tires, and Telle was comparable to most (give or take a few bucks). But they were fast, efficient, and didn't try any add-ons or upsells (like a certain dealership in town). Even offered to drive me down the street to grab a coffee so I didn't have to walk. Their employees were also wearing masks, which shows they care for their employees and their customers. I'll definitely go back when the time comes.

While traveling, we had a tire that needed immediate attention. We stopped at Telle, and the manager Jim Fuhrman promptly gave us the attention and care we needed. I had to bring in my car on very short notice and Chris, my mechanic at Drake's was awesome. They charged me $50 less than what I thought they would. The best part is the service was quick and my car ran perfectly once I picked it up. I'll definitely be returning to Drake's anytime my car needs some TLC!

My experience was horrible!! I drop my car off at 8 and they made it seem like it wouldn't take long to look at so I expected a phone call in the next couple hours. By noon I still didn't have one so I called and they were kind of rude about it and said they would get on it. By 140I called and they said oh yeah we just looked at it you need to wheel hub assemblies to outer tie rods and to inner tie rods in an alignment and it will all cost $1156. I took it to another mechanic right after that and I needed to outer tie rods and 3 brake lines actually. Cost me less than $200 to fix this place is horrible

Just had 2k worth of work done on my Volvo XC90 T6. They did a great job and my SUV drives like new again. Great warranties, Great staff. Thanks guys!!! For the people who are saying don't go there..... Just because you cant afford getting the work done does not mean its a bad shop! Cars are expensive to fix.

I had great service here today. I spent two hours waiting on my car this morning for an oil change and tire rotation bc these guys were busy and I could tell. Chris let me know that I needed some additional things and texted me a report that even included a pic of my dirty air filter. I needed a new serpentine belt, too, which I knew because the car would squeal on occasional startup. He also said my brakes need replaced soon, but said these items could wait for now and I didn't feel pressured to do anything. I told him let's replace the filter and belt and he ordered the parts from Edwardsville and told me I could come back around 1. I came back with my 18mo who was wound for sound and Chris and Jim were awesome at helping entertain him and were very understanding, especially Chris. This place is great and I would highly recommend them. We will be back for any future work our cars need!

We love the guys at Telle Tire - Alton. Jim and Chris are always helpful and willing to go above and beyond to fix any issues that come up. We trust their knowledge and they listen to and answer all of our questions.

Went to Telle tire to have the oil changed and tires rotated. The service manager was 10 minutes late in opening the store. He told me 1 price for oil change and it ended up being 11.00 dollars more than what he quoted me. Charged me 20.00 dollars to rotate tires and the tech didn't even check the air pressure in the tires 2 tires had 30 lbs in them 1 had 28 the other 32. Probably won't be going back to that location

I was new to Alton a couple years ago and had no idea where to go to get good, reliable service for my vehicle. I found Drake Tire online, checked it out, and haven't gone anywhere since. I find their service to be quick and affordable, and I'm never worried about bringing my car to their shop

I will not go anywhere else. The service advisors Jim and Chris were very professional and helpful. Telle Tire in Alton is the only place I will go for now on. If I could give 10 stars I would.

On our way through Alton, on our way to Branson, I saw smoke coming from the front of my car. I had just gotten my car serviced in Chatham, IL new sway bars, rotors, brake pads, etc. and I felt something wasn t right. I Googled tire places near me and Telle Tire popped up. What a Godsend!! They were so helpful and friendly. They checked my car out for free and sent us on our way with peace of mind. Thank you Telle Tire you saved our weekend!
