Derek was awesome! I needed a new battery and he even installed it for me as I know nothing about cars really. Really nice guy and it was his first day back after being off a while.

Took a min to get some service and I had to keep telling the man what I wanted white headlight bulbs and then he brought me back the most expensive ones. I had to just find them myself.

I was having trouble with my signal light on my vehicle. I went to Walmart but they were sold out of the bulb. They told me to buy the bulb elsewhere and they would install it for a fee. I went to AutoZone and the man there installed it for free. It took him about a minute to get it done.

Service was terrible on September 5th at 9:50am. The two employees working completely engorged me while I was standing waiting to checkout. Stood awkwardly making eye contact with employees until I got tired of waiting and worked out. No other costumers in the building. Must be over worked or Facebook is more important.

I went there with the intentions of buying a brake light, so I could install it myself. After looking at the assembly, I determined it was possibly a bit more than I could do. One of the guys inside not only explained how to do it, he changed the bulb for me. He then checked the other side, to ensure all bulbs were in good shape. Bravo!

Today, the folks here at Alton, Illinois, AutoZone, reaffirmed my faith in God. We are on our way to see my mother who is entering hospice, and our alternator went out, we barely made it here into the parking lot. The managers and staff here went above and beyond in making sure we got all of the parts, as well as being so kind to our whole family, and being wonderful to our children. I came in for windshield wipers during an absolute downpour and Josh who works there went outside and put them on my car without even being asked. It was an incredibly nice thing to do. Everyone there was super helpful and I got the rest of the things I needed very fast.

They honored my two year battery warranty at 23.5 months. No questions asked. In and out in less than five minutes. Great customer service!

They were locking the doors and technically didnt have to help me but they got me my headlight anyway, and they were happy to do so. Rarely does anyone go above and beyond anymore, i really was so dang happy at this. Its the little things that really make a difference. Thank you so much for your time and the smile it came with. (They even came back to check and be sure if it was the reg or bright bulb...so nice)

Horrible experience not only were they rude in how they talked to you but I couldn't even get the part I was looking for total ripoff at this place wouldn't recommend spending your hard earned money with those people

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Placed order for brakes on website had it delivered to my home. Was not given option of 5 lug or 6 lug of course incorrect brakes delivered. Husband went to store to take it back. Cashier insisted on Transaction number (even though showed comfirmation email with the ORDER number) She REFUSED to call customer service to get the Necessary transaction number. So I called from my home to get the necessary transaction number. Customer service also gave me a store number stating that they also request that sometimes. So obviously this happens often. Husband went back in with their required information and they refused service to him and made him leave. Cashier stated that I got an email with the transaction number on it well low and behold looked back at all my emails and no transaction number. ONLY order number noted in ALL emails regarding this order. So miss know it all cashier doesn't know it all!! Make the little extra few miles and drive to a different location because customer service is NOT a priority at this location!!!!! FYI I was forced to put in a star that's the ONLY reason ya'll got a star at all!! UPDATE: I sent you email as requested. Let's see if you make it right.

Great store with friendly people who are willing to help you find any part you need big or small. They don't argue over little things like discounts or member perks that you are entitled to.... they take care of and respect you as a customer.

I purchased a part online and had to returned the part because it wasn't what I needed. I was inform by the cashier that I should be seeing my credit shortly. I called them today because it been a few days now, and I don't see a credit! I was told that when you buy something with your debit card that it takes 5-10 days for the money to be credited back your account. Why? They took the money out of my account before I even picked up my purchase! Why do I have to wait almost 2 weeks for a refund? Advance auto credited my account instantly. Advance Auto me please!!!!!!!!!

Fine store; exactly what you'd expect. Top: If buying something on sale, watch your total. I bought 3 items that were "buy 2, get $2 off on 3rd" and the register did not auto-apply that discount. Had to point it out to the staff to get the discount. No issues getting it other than having to call it out.

A perfect example of a place that customer service doesn't exist. Pretty much had to spell out exactly what I needed to replace a battery. The guy behind the counter was completely clueless and his physical appearance showed that he didn't really care.

anytime, day or night, the guys come out to my car.....they have replaced a whole new battery!! yesterday they replaced my blinker light bulb!! so nice (&very reassuring) that a young lady can get my elizabeth serviced....and at NO EXTRA CHARGE!!! Love that personal service!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Good parking with easy access to main roadway. Selections are average but typical of most other Auto Zone store's. Good hours of operation too so makes getting what you need easy.

The manager "Larry" should be fired. The way he treats customers is pathetic. Come in the store and he makes ya feel like you are about to steal something. He is rude he is condescending and spits out smart alec little comment I walked out the store in the middle of trying to get my part due to this man's behavior I returned to the store hours later he was still working and I walked out again good luck if Larry waiting on you

I called up there to pick up a part, told the girl I was coming and was DENIED at the door because I didn t have on my mask. Bogus. The mask order doesn t start until Friday. When I called back and asked why I wasn t told to bring a mask she hung up on me.

All 3 clerks: Garlan, DeMarcus? Might have been Demarco, and Jose that were there, assisted us looking for the part we needed. Each was polite, attentive to us and the other customers, and even though the part wasn't available within your system, they helped us with a part number and some ideas of where to get the part both locally and online. I'm not much of a car guy and didn't know exactly what I needed but they weren't ever condescending or judgemental and were all super nice. I'll stop by next time I need something for the car.
