Fantastic business! Professional and friendly staff. Went in for an air fill up and found out there were 2 nails in my tire. Luckily the tires were under warranty so they fixed it without question. Phenomenal service and would highly recommended.

(Writing for my friend Shelley) Had a fabulous experience at Discount Tire in Algonquin on Thursday 17Nov. I discovered a nail in my tire when leaving tennis and drove to this location because my friend suggested it. They repaired my tire in less than an hour and was shocked to hear that it was free of charge!! Tim was wonderful to work with.I will definitely return to Discount Tire for future repairs. Thank you!!

The team at this location was quite friendly and efficient. I walked in to get a tire rotation and got in line almost immediately. Mack (who helped me) checked the car and the team made it a breeze. Within an hour I was able to drive away with no hassles. I recommend getting an appointment but otherwise someone is there to help out.

Chris at Discount Tire really helped me out a lot. Bought tires elsewhere and he still was able to assist with the warranty work. He provided elevated levels of customer service

Called into the Algonquin store and Chris was extremely helpful and Informative. When I arrived, Mack was able to help me as we went together to inspect my tire. The service was outstanding, and would highly recommend this location.

Came in for a tire rotation an was told it will be hour and half to complete.Hour and half later my car was still outside.It is second time this happen.Better time estimation will help a lot.

Your staff replaced the wrong tire on my vehicle on 12/26. I made an appointment for a driver side front replacement, and your staff seems to have instead replaced one that was essentially brand new, instead of replacing the correct/worn one. I ve contacted corporate, and will not be returning to this location. Instead of trying to upsell your customers, you should focus on performing the service your customers pay for correctly.I found this out when rotating my tires this week and insist you (the customer) do a check after any services performed here.

Don't let this place SCAM YOU! I went for the free air. I was told I had a nail in my tire and was told they can fit me in right at that time, which was early in the morning, since I was on my way to work I didn't have the time to get my tire patched. I called later that day to schedule an appointment for the next day. I asked how much to patch the tire they said it would be free. I made my appointment for the next day went on my lunch break. Left my keys with a gentlemen, he then called me over and stated they couldn't patch my tire due to dry rot. He stated they could not touch ly vehicle. When the person just the morning before said they could take care of it. If your tires are from 5-6yrs old they will not touch your car. Funny how I go to a different tire shop and they were able to take care of me. I would rather pay for my tire to be patched. To get me through till I have enough funds to pay $900 plus for brand new tires!! Convenient for free air that's about it!

Wish they had a negative star selection. Warning everyone to stay away from this Tire shop. I brought my car in Tuesday afternoon for a rotation and flat repair. They fixed the flat and rotated the tires. However they didn't torque down the lug nuts on the repaired tire. It was making noise all the way home when coasting or driving slowly. I thought a brake pad was dragging. When I went to check the brakes I found the passenger side front tire lug nuts were all finger tight. A wrench never touched them. Pretty freaking scary for a tire shop to forget to torque down the lug nuts on the car and let the customer drive off thinking "they would never forget something simple and life threatening as that would they??" Needless to say, never bring your car here, go out of your way to a different discount tire location. Can't trust them with the basics.

Service was mid. However, they re under construction so the waiting room is outside. It s cold af out right now. They called me to confirm my appointment yesterday and said nothing about this so I could be prepared and dress for the weather. Totally unprofessional and careless on their part. Won t be coming back here.

My experience at Discount Tire today was great! The service was excellent. I was taken care of very promptly. The employees were professional, well informed and friendly. I was given a great price and a great product. All 4 of the vehicles in my household will be serviced at this location going forward. I give them my highest recommendation.

OF COURSE... I found out I had a nail in my tire that can't be patched on the first day of a snowstorm after I JUST bought 4 new ones from PEPBOYS 3 weeks prior... BEHOLD the man who came to my rescue (DYLAN) He was calm as I was internally freaking out, helped me with solid pricing, and got me in and out quickly as I was also on my lunch break from work while he put the tire on himself. This was not on my list of things to do but Dylan made it bearable and truly not as bad for something so unexpected.I would recommend Discount Tire and specifically Dylan at this location if you need any help. I'm definitely coming back to this location for whatever my car needs next.THANK YOU DYLAN! I APPRECIATE ALL OF THE HELP AND YOUR PROFESSIONALISM ALONG WITH YOUR KINDNESS! :)

Received great service here. Had a cracked rim and All other tire shops around refused to remount used tire. Got it done here walk-in in about an hour! Thanks!! Rolls smooth as silk no viberation.

I went on a Monday around 2pm to have the air in my tire checked. I was in line next to the air pump with a man 8 feet from me checking stacked tires. There were 5 guys around, all who saw I was waiting but never came over. After 15 minutes (and a line of cars waiting behind me), I got out to go in to the building. The guy checking tires (Doug) yelled for me to stop and said I would have to wait for a truck to leave (a truck which was parked behind the building and not obstructing the air pump a foot away from me). When I asked how long he said it was an hour wait. Then another older guy came out and told everyone they would have to wait. There was no sign saying they weren't doing air checks, and at any time, any of the 5 guys in the bays, Doug, or the employees in the office who saw a line of cars waiting, could have come out and said something, but no one did. Go anywhere else to buy your tires because if Discount Tire won't even do a small thing like communicate to a line of cars that they aren't doing air checks, it is most likely a good indication how the rest of the location is managed.

I noticed some rim damage and asked Discount Tire to take a look. I kept loosing air and had a flat.They did not even take a look. They just told me I needed new tires and windshield wipers. $500 later, my tires are still loosing air. I took my car back 4 times and they kept dismissing my concerns. I missed a lot of work. They also took off my valve stem caps and never put them back on. I am missing 4 valve stem caps. Which may also be leading to some of the air leaks. They said they would replace these caps, but kept forgetting. Finally, they told me I had bad valve stems. Which they decided they did not have time to fix. So they just filled my tires with air (again) & sent me on my way.

Went in for a leak. They patched the tire. It leaked even worse. Went back when i had time to have it repatched. After taking the car back in. They took the tire off. Told me they couldnt fix it. Wouldnt put the tire back on. Told me i had to buy 4 tires cause its AWD. So i told them to put the spare on and give me back my tire. Drove it to the dealership where miraculously they patched the tire. I used to have good luck with discount tire. I wouldnt recommend this location. Take your tires somewhere else.

Had a nail in my tire and it was still under warranty so the patch was free. The staff here is so friendly and professional and they are fast! I was in and out within 30 minutes thank you!!!

I want to thank Chee. Both my tires were very low on air, and it was a Saturday 1/20 @ 830ish The air lane was closed, but when I drove up, he was the only employee who acknowledged me and came to help. I appreciate his customer service very much!

They are still doing construction so just a heads up. I went in for a tire check, dropped off my car and was called back about 3 hrs later. They not only found a nail and patched my tire, they didn t charge me for it and they also replaced my key fob battery. Wow! Thank you so much! They went above and beyond when they did not have to. Thank you.

Everyone at this location is very professional. You can feel the culture of positivity and excellence as soon as you step onto the property. They are doing some construction right now, but are still open and ready to help! My tire just needed repair, so it was great that they were honest, instead of saying I needed a new one. Its my go-to place for my family's tire needs!

-About a year ago Scott, the store manager expertly replaced all -four tires and rims on our horse trailer. From personal experience he explained about the horse's weight distribution and how it affects the tires. Fast forward a year and somehow we have managed to find all lost screws and nails and have had two punctured tires on two separate occasions. Today, 9-11-23 we brought the trailer in to get the most recent tires fixed and was helped by Phil and Dyan. They were so helpful and kind, they even checked the remaining tires for any other issues. I am so impressed with the Algonquin Discount Tire. Thank you for being so efficient and helpful.

I am a response nurse for Hospice, and my car is vital to my job. Friday night late coming back from a visit in the city, I get a flat. I can't drive long distances with the spare and be safe. So Saturday I most of the morning searching for a local shop who had my apparently unusual size tire in stock, at a decent price point, AND could install them that day. I found Discount Tire and looked into them from a customer review on the fantastic all around strive and quality. They had my tires at a reasonable price and installation charge. I ordered 2 as another of my tires appeared bad to me. Made an appointment and went in. The wonderful gentleman behind the counter, I believe was the manager explained I needed 4 new tires not just the two. I explained I really didn't have the time and didn't want to spend a fortune at this moment. He responded by offering me the possibility of giving me a discount. I was stunned but very appreciative. For less than $500 I received 4 new tire on my car, installation, disposal fees, and a warranty past the manufacturer. All in record time of 45 minutes from the time I came in for appointment and was driving home! Love this place! Great customer service, friendly and honest. No upsetting or extra items I didn't want or need.

Everyone there was so nice! I was on the phone with Eladio and he was awesome! The mechanics replaced my tires so quickly as well. They got it done 20 mins before the expected time. Nice work everyone!!!

I picked up a nail in my tire. The team here was able to get me in right away and got my tire patched quickly while I waited. They were professional and kept me in the loop. They have earned my business - next time they are the first shop I will call with my tire needs.

Excellent experience. When I called Drew answered and gave me a few prices and explained the next available appointment time. When I arrived I was helped immediately by Ryan who showed me the tires available. I had initially planned to purchase a tire that cost 208 a tire but after I told him I was more focused on comfort and longevity he recommended a tire that was more highly rated than the one I had chosen online and it was only 98 a tire. This saved me more than 400 dollars. Not only that but I was able to finance the tires and received a 50 dollar rebate. I will absolutely make discount tire my first choice moving forward.
