I've known Jim and used his shop for about 25 years. Jim and his team are a great bunch of people. They have always been honest, hard working and they stand by their work. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I met the owner Jim a year ago when I visited his shop. He was kind and welcoming. His prices were more than fair and the quality of work was especially there. I recently had my Infiniti JX35 in for service including rear shocks new brakes all around as well as a few other tasks. Special thanks to Tony who completed the work ahead of schedule and as I requested it to be completed. My SUV is so smooth and I couldn't be happier with the results! Always great service at fair cost with this place.Jim and his team are great to work with. Honest service and they take care of your vehicle appropriately. I like the fact that you get the vehicle back after they work on it and it is as clean inside and out as when you dropped it off. Dropped my car off too be worked on. Around 1030am was called at 4pm and was told they couldnt duplicate my car sputtering. Then when I get in my car while picking it up I notice a big stain on my driver seat.

I took a chance with Algonquin Auto Clinic since my regular place was booked and I needed my summer car to be ready for the nice weather. I am so glad I did because I was ready to shell out $1200 for a repair, I thought I needed. Jim called me to give me the inspection results and I was amazed that the only issue was a gasket that was worn out on my car. Said nothing else was needed immediately but recommended I replace within the next 2-3 years. I was so pleased with his honesty that I dropped off another car I had for a bad wheel bearing the next day. Jim and his team took care of me the same day and I will now be taking my third car in for an inspection as well. Finding local honest repair shops are very hard to come by these days. Give Algonquin Auto Clinic a shot and you will be very pleased with the service. We have trusted this place for years. Never have we felt we were seen as dollar signs. We came here for the first time years ago for a second opinion and were blown away by the absolute honesty. Nothing has changed in the 15 plus years we have been coming here. I've been going here for over 20 years. Whether its an oil change, brakes, emissions problem, tires or anything else, all repairs are done right the first time at a reasonable price and within a reasonable time frame. And if they can't find anything wrong, or they feel you've got more time before needing to replace something like a battery, tires or brakes, they're honest about it. They never repair or replace parts "just in case", they only replace and fix what's necessary.

Great place. I moved to this area 2 years ago and needed to repair my Nissan Pathfinder. Having gotten several estimates and meeting several mechanics we decided to go with Algonquin Auto Clinic. Jim is very nice and always follows back up with us about the service. His work is great and his prices are fair. Jim and his Techs are great! I brought my Dad's 1998 Corvette in for service. He got everything fixed on it (broken exhaust pipe, ac, oil change and lube, safety inspection, air in tires) and it was a fraction of what the stealership would have charged. I also took my daughters car in for repair. They diagnosed and repaired very quickly and she's happy again. Also a very good price. I definitely recommend them. Good service, good work, good pricing. I can't say enough good things about Jim and his crew. We have brought our vehicles back time and again for regular maintenance, and the occasional more serious fixes, for 20 years. A full-service shop with an experienced and knowledgeable crew that has kept multiple vehicles we've owned on the road and running great! I could share many stories of their going above and beyond in terms of customer service. Their quotes/estimates are honest and fair. They use quality parts, and warranty the work. We definitely have a high degree of trust in this shop. A+ experience every time.

Jim and his crew were so helpful! I brought in my Traverse because it was making a different sound when accelerating. I couldn t provide much more than it doesn t sound right . It's a relief to have a shop that I completely trust to maintain and fix my vehicles. They do a great job at a reasonable price and offer useful advice. There have been times I fully expected to hear I needed this or that (based on the owners manual or general mileage rules of thumb) only to be told that it can wait until the next oil change or so.
