Rod and his team at Auto Advantage are great and trustworthy people. I've been taking my cars there for years and they have always been fair and honest. I just had my car in after I tried fixing it myself but wanted a second opinion as I was still having issues. I am not a mechanic but not afraid to try things on my own with a little help. They listened to what I had done so far, ran some diagnostics themselves, then gave some recommendations on what to do next. I went home, tried what they suggested, and that resolved my issue. I don't think many places will do that for their customers. Great customer service and they don't ask for good Google reviews either like some places do. Thanks Rod for your help today! Really appreciated it!

Brought in my 98 Cadillac Eldorado for an exhaust pipe that broke apart, and it was super loud. They asked if I wanted to wait while a piece was cut out and a new one [added, and I said sure. Waited in the room and before and after the guys showed me what needed to be fixed and then what was repaired. Friendly, courteous service! Wimll return!!

I was referred to the repair facility by 2 friends 1 is a lawyer and the other is a policeman. They do excellent work here and I have been a customer for about 3 years now. Honest and have excellent mechanics. I always tell my friends or people looking for a great repair shop to come here. Because if you want the job done correctly this is your best option, for proficient and professional work on your vehicle. Tell them Ronda sent you so that you can receive a discount coupon. Great people highly reccommend.

Rod was super helpful getting my vehicle in for service and working a deal that included a Military Appreciation Discount. One of the few places around that still cares about that sort of thing. It's tough times for disabled veterans and at least now we can drive safe going into the winter. 13 DEC 23

I had a flat tire and rolled into the shop at 7:56am with 6 people ahead of me. I had a chemo appointment at 9 and this great group of guys took off my ruined tire , put on my spare and ordered a new tire within 15 minutes. Great service Plus kind and friendly.Service: TiresService: Tires

I would not take my car back to this place. I took my car In to have brakes installed on my vehicle and an oil change. While dropping my car off I asked if they could check out a rattling sound. I never received a call about my car being ready, nor did they mention anything about the rattling. I arrived after work to pick up my car and go to get inside and start it and the battery is dead. (Bad cell) they said the car was perfectly fine and they didn t have that issue. Now here I am 3 days after getting the work done and 3 different spots over my driveway with oil. I look under the car and oil is dripping. The only reason I came here is because of a referral. And I left being disappointed.

As we all can agree how hard it is to find a mechanic you can trust 100% with your car, with that being said I one million percent trust Rod and the rest of the mechanics at Auto Advantage! From there friendly personalities, honest truth, prices & there work is just phenomenal! I was dealt with a strain of bad luck with my car the last few years (probably because it s a Chevy haha) but personally I ve gotten my routine oil changes, coolant flush & coolant hose replacement, major oil leak fixed, thermostat replaced, alternator replaced, water pump replaced, and I m sure I m missing a few but always A+ work, done in a timely manner & prices you can t beat! I tell family & friends that Auto Advantage is the ONLY place to take there cars!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had to update my review!I don't know what is happening with this place.Within the last year, I have needed an emergency repair. First time last Sept, emissions failed. I was sent away and told they could not fix it. Claiming it could be any number of things.Went to another local place and they replaced some gaskets and even went and had the emissions tested at the facility ! Only needed the sticker.Now bring in my other car, which was giving me intermittent starting problems. I drove it to the shop at 8 am. By 1:30 pm I was called and asked to pick up the car, once again they could not figure out what was wrong!!! Was told to take it to the Ford dealership as it must be a Ford specific problem.No other local place could fit me in. So drove it home. Called around and found a local place that could fit me in. Now car will not start at all!!! Got car towed to the new shop only to discover it was only a starter that was needed!!!It is with a heavy heart that my treasured Auto Advantage has let me down for the second and final time.

I felt like they truly had my best interests in mind, even though it didn't really benefit them. You really need to watch yourself at this repair facility, you will be charged for things that were not actually done and over charged as well. At one point and time they were honest and professional, now they cannot be trusted anymore. Always try and get 2 or more estimates elsewhere, because they have 2 mechanics whose ethics are very questionable now. Also very pricey, might as well go to a dealership.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Auto A/C replacement, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

Unfortunately I ve been having a lot of maintenance issues recently with my car, but after trying some local shops this one was repeatedly the best service I would get. The guy at the front desk always knew time wise how long things would take and gave me solid info. Even helped me replace a tire issue the came up last minute within the hour

Best auto repair place on the Planet. Service is great, guaranteed n they even come to pick me up n drop my car off after it's fixed or they come get me n take me back to shop. All mechanics are very professional n kind too.The owner, Dominick, picks n hires his mechanics very well. The guy Rob is a fantastic 1st meet in the reception area. He's very, professional, kind n considerate, as well!!! If u cant tell I love this place, well now u know!

My car was overheating in that bitter cold that we just had where it was 25 degrees below zero. I called them less than an hour before they were to close. They took my car in and the antifreeze head turn to slush. They kept my car overnight for no extra cost so that I could thought out. The next morning they flush my antifreeze twice, changed my tie rods and give me an oil change. Total price was $350 which I find to be a great deal. They were very nice people and they were very honest. I will be using them as my mechanic's from now on

Friendly, honest, fast and reliable service. We stopped in on 1/30/2018 on somewhat of an emergency basis - a nail got stuck in our tire. They had us ready to go within 25 minutes, didn't try to sell us on anything that we did not need. Thank you!

I had some recall work on my car the dealership said I needed new front brake pads and rotors. I told them I would bring the car in next week.I took it to Auto Advantage and had them look at the car and all I needed was break pads. They also found that I needed new wheel bearings on my drivers side back wheel , the dealership missed this. If I did not bring it to Auto Advantage I would not have known it needed to be fixed. Great Service and fair you will not be dissapointed.

Never been here before now, but have driven past hundreds of times. So decided to give them a chance. I've always taken my vehicle to "franchise" locations because of the assumed sence of security that comes with a large corporation backing the work. This location, Auto Advantage of Addison, i spoke with Rod, is Very knowledgeable, amazing customer service, honest pricing. Explained everything and didn't try to upsell on unnecessary items. Was very honest. Won my business for life! Called at 3pm and was in right away for brake job. Took vehicle in right away and was done within an hour. Front lobby is very clean and comfortable, well organized and you can tell the employees take pride in their work and that safety and customer service is their top priority.Thanks for getting my vehicle back on the road.

One of the best small shops that I've ever been to very reasonable prices the only bad thing I could say about this place is that they don't take appointments the mechanics explained everything very clearly. They did work for me three different times on my car I've always been happy with the work

I didn't want to have to write a bad review, but they leave me no choice. I used to be a neighbor of the owner and i guess even that doesn't seem to matter. I can't even count how many times I've brought them business. I've had exhaust and plenty of other work done on multiple cars. I've had to bring it back multiple times with both cars within a year or two because of shoddy welding work and most likely junkyard used pipes. The most recent is the worst. They charged me $200 for a "complete exhaust repair" with a 1 year warranty. I brought it back in a few months later because it was super loud and they told me it wasn't their work, it was the downpipe. So another almost $200 later and another "1 year warranty" for the new downpipe. Now, less than a year later there's a huge hole and it's louder than it's ever been. Now, let me add...The most recent problems started when i brought it back there to get the stock muffler put back on because it was too loud for me. First off, they welded the muffler and tips in completely crooked, which was a little annoying, but not a deal breaker. The problems started a few months after that, which makes me think, wouldn't they have seen the exhaust rotting when i brought it in to get the muffler replaced? I'm done with this place and wouldn't trust them with anyone's car.

This place is so nice, they do awesome work and back it with their guarantee! I have had them work on 3 of my cars. I would highly recommend auto Advantage. Just look at the parking lot its always full with cars! Thanks!

Done going here. I thought they were honest but boy was I wrong. I paid for a trans flush and to have my belts changed. Not only did they not perform the flush they didn't even change the trans oil. Also the belts were not changed just tightened. Avoid these con men.
