I took my bronco to FIVE other mechanics and they all said it was too old for them to work on then stuck me with a huge bill with things they fixed . When I brought my bronco to Mick and Michelle, he stepped outside and got right to work! He instantly found SEVERAL things that were done but were actually just adjusted to work for a little while. He goes on to fix them right in front of us and show us how he s doing it!! Even though I was a walk in it only was a couple days for them to get it all fixed! Huge rave to Mick and Michelle, I m glad there s still honest mechanics out there!

I can honestly say that I don't want to take my car to anyone but Mick. His work is genuine, working over and above any other mechanics I have had to go to. Michelle makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. I have an older car and am so glad to have found an honest business. I know in the future my car will be high maintenance, but now that I have found an excellent mechanic, I'm not so worried. Mick will explain everything to you and show you the old part so you know what he has done. I am totally illiterate when it comes to cars. With his explanation even I get it. Thank you to you both for making my world a little bit easier. I would recommend the Transmission Shop without hesitation.Service: Brakes

Mick put a remanufactured 6L80 in my 2010 Silverado with 230K miles- truck runs great. I do my own maintenance and I am particular as my father was a career technician. Process and cost were very reasonable- the unit warranty is great.This is the shop you want to take your truck to- great attention to detail. Straight-forward and thorough. Just good folks overall.

Amazing shop! Went in after 2 other shops diagnosed the need for a new transmission, praying for a better price. They honestly told me I didn't need the repair. Explained what was going on and checked all systems. Saved me a few thousand dollars!!! Highly recommended.

Mick, is only mechanic I trust to work on my 1977 special edition Hurst t top Trans am. Boy was I wrong, rebuild didn't last six months. Total failure. I'll be seeing him in court, didn't even honor the warranty. Don't take your car there

Called talked to the owner about a possible transmission problem. We discussed the problem I had with my truck. He referred me to Blue Lake automotive. Which they flashed my new computer. And fixed the problem.

I was only in Twin Falls for the day when I ran into issues with my truck. The service I received here was exceptional especially since they knew they wouldn't be able to do the work. During a cross-country roadtrip, Mick and his wife Michelle opened up their shop on a Sunday to help repair a leaky tail shaft bushing in our square body Chevy. As a double-check, they balanced all 6 of our tires (we have a dually) and got my husband and I back on the road in no time. As an amateur gear-head, and a woman, I was delighted when Mick took the time to walk me through the entire repair while he was doing it. To be honest, the visit to their shop felt like less of an inconvenience and more like we were visiting w/ family. You can trust Mick and Michelle not to be honest about a repair - big or small. There's never an upsell and as a friend of folx that unscrupulous mechanics take advantage of due to lack of car knowledge - I can vouch for Mick and Michelle as the real deal - they're goal is to help people. I finally found a trustworthy shop who is more committed to helping people than their own bottom line. Mick and the team at The Transmission Shop were awesome to work with, upfront and honest about their prices (no up-charge on parts), and they look for the root of the issue instead of throwing money at a problem.I thought my transmission was going out, and was told by other shops I needed a new transmission. I called all around town and The Transmission Shop beat everybody's best price by $1,000-$2,000. When I took it to Mick he found out that I had a couple bad sensors and the transmission was just fine. Overall, the whole deal cost me a few hundred dollars instead of thousands. Mick explained the whole process to me and exactly why each step of the repair was important.Couldn't recommend Mick and The Transmission Shop enough. Give them a call when you need some work done.

I recently had a major need to have my brakes replaced and rotors turned. My brother recommended Mick at The Transmission Shop. Mick advised me of what needed to be done and set to the task. This shop truly knows how to take care of all your transmission needs,, I would highly recommend if you have transmission trouble,, this is the place to go. The most honest shop in town. Mick and Michelle, crew, keep up the great work.

Mick was amazing. Our sales truck broke down in Idaho Falls and he came to our rescue. When we decided to have it towed back to our place he graciously allowed us to store the truck at his place until we could arrange for transport. Thank you for your help and generosity!

One of the best mechanics we ever found. We've been bringing our truck here for work for about 6 months and have always been treated honestly and fairly. They're happy to do other work for your vehicle that isn't specifically transmission related and you'll get a fair price and an honest assessment every time. Highly recommend.

There are good people in this world. Mick and Michelle are two of these kind. I was on the road passing through town and my transmission acted up a bit. They checked things over, ended up adding in some fluid and had me back on the road in short order. I wish I lived closer so that I could use them again as this kind of trust is hard to come by in this day and age.Service: Transmission

Please pardon any errors in spelling,etc-this vomment sytem isnt userzfriendly,thanks to Google.My transmission wasnt working right.They ran a diagnostic check,and replaced an external sensor,gaskets hecked the EGR valve.Now the truck runs like NEW!Service: Transmission
