I was quoted 500 dollars for ignition cylinder replacement 3 weeks from now. I ended up paying half of that at Chavez Automotives!

Neil always takes great care of my vehicle and keeps me on track for necessary maintenance, letting me know what I need to take care of and what I can let go for a little longer.He saves me a dime when he can and I'm always confident that my SUV is in good running condition when I get it back.

Love Neil! Usually a month out but if you drop your car off and leave it he gets to it that day or within a few days. Honest, reliable & wont nickel & dime you.

My motorhome broke down 700 miles from home on a 2,200 mile trip in Twin Falls Idaho.I had engine oil all over the engine compartment. Neil adviced me that it was likely the front main seal of the motor(Toyota 22RE).Neil gave me a cost breakdown of the parts/labor and a brief destription of the procedure required.His day was completley booked so I elected to change out all the parts myself on the side of a parts store parking lot. I was unable to torque the crank bolt down to the required 160 ft lbs as the vehicle is an automatic. I drove back to Palmer's Auto and asked if he could help me torque the bolt down. He paused his work and helped me out with no hint of iritation over me basically wasting his time/money. Upon leaving I asked him for a card so I could leave this review. I am home in Oregon and grateful for his help.Thanks Neil.

We are new to Twin Falls. Recommended by the previous home owner who's house we purchased. Neil took great care of my significant others battery and taillight issue. Mine was about a left turn signal that was blinking fast and the display said the left front turn signal was not working. Long story, two visits and the problem was taken care of by Neil and staff. Very professional and honest. From one that was a sales rep., customer service rep. and owner of an automotive equipment distribution company, I know great shops when I find them. I have no reservations about recommending Neil Palmer and staff. Don't look for cheap (ya always get what you pay for). Go for reasonable with back up reputation that they care about. During our RV road trip our car had a breakdown in Oregon and our next stop was Twin Falls Idaho, I called Neil the owner and explained our situation. Neil said that they could fix it for us, we towed the vehicle to his shop and dropped it off Wednesday afternoon. They diagnosed the issue on Thursday and it needed a whole new computer brain and new coils and spark plugs. They were able to order the parts and get them the next day, and had our car ready by the end of Friday! For someone traveling through town Neil took great care to get our car done, we are very thankful for the wonderful professional service! I highly recommend Palmer's they are honest, professional Christians and fair with their pricing. 5 stars!!!

Hard working,honest people. There prices are reasonable and they get what needs done, done. I ordered a part for my vehicle had they had it within three days. I'd highly recommend them for your automotive needs.

Neil was awesome! We were travelling across country when we developed problems with our air conditioner compressor. We called Palmer's Automotive after 4:00 pm and he fit us right in. Unfortunately, there were no parts in town, but he ordered a compressor by-pass kit and it was delivered the next morning. We arrived at 8:15 the next day and he had us on the road by 9:00 am. Excellent experience, excellent work. Would definitely recommend this auto shop. Wish I lived in Twin Falls just to have an honest mechanic. Thanks again, Neil!!

Neil and his wife own this shop and they are great people! Honest, hard working and fast with turn around. We moved from the Midwest four years ago and we had our realtor suggest Neil! He has taken care of our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country and our Ford Focus 2005. With 250K miles on the Ford and Neil s care it s has a lot of life left! My family and I were visitors in Twin Falls and our car started over heating. Since we didn t know our way around we pulled into the first automotive repair shop we could find. The staff was amazing, they got us in that day, gave us a ride to our hotel, picked us up when the car was done and most of all fixed our car so that we could get back to California. I would highly recommend this shop and if I have the pleasure of moving to this wonderful town I will definitely use them again. Thank you so much for everything!Service: Engine repair

After bad experiences at other auto shops in Twin, I am thrilled to have found Palmer's and wouldn t go anywhere else to have my domestic and imported vehicles serviced and repaired. Always attentive and conscientious service. A big part of this relationship for me is trust, because I must have my vehicles reliable over many years. He explains clearly, gives options and advises the best course of action but never presses. I cannot recommend Palmers highly enough. Knowledgeable and experienced.

Took my girlfriends Toyota Corolla in to get the AC serviced in the morning , they got the car looked at within a timely matter and had the AC fixed and working perfectly by noon . Customer service was not professional at all! I live five hours away and initially took my car in to have the AC checked because of a recommendation from someone. The front desk woman was rude, short and not helpful. The second I drove off the property my AC did not work any better than when I had arrived, even though I was charged and told the problem was fixed. Since I had a long five hour drive home, I could not bring the vehicle back immediately and once I returned to Twin I promptly brought it back in and explained this issue. After assessing the vehicle a second time they discovered something that was missed during the first "full service AC diagnosis". I was told the problem was fixed but was charged almost the same amount as the first visit!! The part cost $11 dollars, and yet they charged me 9X that for labor when I was already charged that initially when nothing was fixed. When I addressed the issue, the front desk woman and the mechanic were rude, brash and did not handle the issue in a professional manner. I was not at fault that the problem was missed and not fixed during the first visit, yet I had to pay for both visits. I would not recommend this business based solely on the manners and professionalism of the staff!

I've had to take my car here a ton over the past two years. (He's a 27-year-old Camry that's acting his age. I wish I knew how to quit him...) Anyway, no one likes to go to the shop and face unplanned car bills, but at least I know my car is in good hands here. The labor cost is reasonable, and when I pick my old Camry up, he's always ready to go... until he gets cranky the next time. ;) I'd definitely recommend this place. Good business!

Customer service was fantastic, Neil was professional and kind. Did great work fixing an oil leak and replacing my clutch, along with some general matinence. Fair prices, I will definitely be bringing my vehicles back to be serviced.

I've had all 3 of my vehicles (90's domestic car, truck and import car) serviced at Palmer's Automotive for the last 4 years and they have always done an excellent job in all ways - service, information, timely repairs, etc. From routine oil changes and brake jobs to engine rebuild and suspension replacement; all work has been done with the highest quality and satisfaction. Palmer's always goes the extra mile - I totally trust them with all my auto repair needs. They do tremendous preventative maintenance to provide my family with worry free reliable transportation. Thank you Palmer's for always being ready to provide quality service for my vehicles.

I had a blown brake line driving through Twin Falls and had to call AAA. Towed it to Palmer's after speaking with Sean. I met Neil, the owner, and he was honest....by that, I mean, I work on my own vehicle and trusted what he said. Unfortunately, the part for my truck wasn't available for 2 days! I thought of every scenario while sitting in a hotel that night and phoned them at 7 am the next day. I spoke with Neil about my thoughts and he'd already tried those before ordering a new part. I got my truck earlier than expected and the cost was lower than what I was quoted. Thanks Guys! Hopefully I never see you again but if in need, you're the man.

Called today shop to get a price quote about radiator repair and the guy who picked up the phone was very rude and unprofessional. He answered the phone with a bad attitude no saying hello or professionally answering phone and presenting company name or to say how can I help you, etc. Very unprofessional and rude. He just picked up the phone and said hello not saying name of the company or his name and I started talking saying that I m calling to get a quote about radiator repair but before I was able to finish my sentence he just hang up on me for no reason. That was very rude and unprofessional. I don t know what s wrong with employees at this place? Vey weird! If it was my company they would be fired instantly. With everything being said I would never ever called them again nor would I do any business with them whatsoever and wouldn t recommend then to anyone.

They do really great work and are very honest people . I was from out of town and was moving up to Washington and they got my Cadillac in top shape for the long drive up to Washington. . I haven't had anymore problems with my car since they worked on it 6 months . They could of easily just took my money since I was out of town but they didnt they are professional and honest people.. We called palmers auto-care center to have our car fixed, it was towed to there shop we had a phone call when 2 hours, with description of problem and a quote of price. The service was in the top 100% and work was same as well. I plan to continue to take our car in to Neil to have all services done and will let everyone know that this is the place to go for all needs and good work and honesty.

I took my car in to have the heating fixed and was very pleased with Palmer's. Being a newly married college student, like most people, I don't have a ton of money to spend on unnecessary car repairs. They even made a list of upcoming repairs/maintenance items I'll need to have done and about how long I have until they need to be done. I will definitely be back! Thanks guys, you rock!!
