Great service from these guys. I drove 75 miles round trip to have my car fixed and it was worth the drive. Clean office and service area

Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the outcome of this experience. Took my car in to get fixed and paid $700 for it to get fixed. Went to leave with my car and it wouldn t start. Tried 4 different times to start my car and it wouldn t start. They jumped it for me and got it going but recommended I leave it for an hour so they can charge my battery and test it. After calling for a couple hours it took them 4 hours to charge my battery and test it. Went and picked up my car and left with a check engine light on and more symbol lights on then when I originally went in. Called them, told them, they had me turn around and go back in. Just to tell me they can t look at my car until the next day and if it s something they didn t work on there will be a charge. I just took my car home and said I d rather get it fixed somewhere else. This process went on for more than a week. I will not be coming back and just thought I d help others be aware!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had my card A/C unit repaired to the sum of $2,200. Instantly after we drove away the car began to lose power while stopped on an incline and die after refueling. But thankfully the A/C worked and i was just considering that maybe the other issues were do to the car being a little older. Then only 3 months later the A/C stopped completely again. So we returned the car assuming it would be the same issue and would be taken care of. It was not!!! They not only told us it was a different issue but it would now cost an additional $3,000 in order to redid the A/C. I highly recommend that you steer clear of this place. They will put a bandaid on it but eventually they will tear it off with force.

Took my Subaru here for a leaking valve cover that was getting oil on the exhaust and making smoke. They got me in as soon as they could and fixed it up in pretty decent time, considering they had it over the 4th of July weekend. Once they verified the leak, they quoted me a price and that's exactly what they ended up charging me.The only critical thing I can say is that the inside of the car smelled really strongly of oil when I got it back, and the engine smoked until the last of the oil burned off.Overall, I'm really happy with the experience. I've got my car back, and if I ever have any issues with it again I'll definitely be going back.

My car ended up having to get two fuel pumps replaced. I was lucky to find this place right down the road from my house. My warranty covered most of repair costs. I am so grateful for that.I was under a lot of stress because this was my only car to get to and from work. I am a single person and does not have any clue about cars, a lot of emotions were flowing through me. When I talked to Eddie over the phone it was great. He was very nice and polite and was making the situation less than what it was and said he would take a look at my car. When I got to the shop the vibes were not what I was expecting. It just felt off. Maybe just a lot going on in the shop and everyone was just to busy I don't know. I asked Eddie to please call me if he needed information and to keep me updated. He defiantly did that for me. Eddie told me the parts wont be in for about a week or so and I was like okay thats a given because of the economy right now. I wasn't expecting my car to be done for about 2 weeks. Eddie ordered the parts that were needed and BAM he called me the fallowing Tuesday stating my car was finished and ready to go. I was so shocked it got done that fast. I defiantly recommend this place to someone if they need extended warranty work done.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Absolutely love this place. Highly recommend 10/10. They are very through and even go above & beyond what the original problem was.

This place is a total scam. They called to let us know they needed more time on our car. They charged a 2nd diagnostic fee. Two fees at $200 each! The only thing they needed to do was change a break fuse and take out an after market security system. $50 in parts. Total bill came to over $600 bucks!

After going without my car for an entire month now, they finally got my steering rack on, only to be told it was defective. They then had the car towed to Utah, so a certified BMW mechanic could do their thing. Not their fault it was a defective part, BUT the communication and customer service skis definately.lack. the place in Utah informed me my car was completed yesterday, yet Eddie at Blue Lakes Auto told me they were still working on it, even though the BMW place I spoke to 5 minutes before Eddie said he spoke to Eddie a few minutes before me on the phone, and had informed him my car was ready. Lying to me definitely did not improve my already low opinion of this business. Needless to say, I'll be walking to work a couple extra days due to lack of communication, and /or because someone dropped the ball. Its awfully cold and dark out right now for a 5 mile walk at 5:30 am. Disappointing is the very best I can say about this place.Service: Steering & suspension repair

This is the most honest, friendly and knowledgeable shop I have ever been to. I broke down 45 miles out of town on my way through Idaho. These guys not only got my Mercedes Sprinter in right away but they got the parts ordered and made sure everything was safe and sound after my right front tire sheared off. I was ripe for someone to take advantage and charge extra but this shop was incredibly fair and honest. In addition WOW what a clean orderly shop with the best conversation around. By the time we left I felt like we were not only treated fairly but that we were taken care of by friends. If I could give them 10 stars for honesty and kindness I would. Thanks for the great experience and repair!Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Brakes

We could not be more thankful for their service. We were from out of town and needed to be towed to their shop. They ordered a part, had it waiting for us and did the work as soon as they opened. We were back on the road in record time, and they charged us a standard fee for the part/installation necessary. We can not thank them enough for their excellent work, and their kindness. Exceptional!Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

Everyone here is friendly, professional, and very straightforward with you. They know what they're doing and are able to work on cars that most other shops here in Twin are not. They are timely and wonderful about keeping you updated on exactly what's going on with your car. The only shop I trust going to, after having bad experiences with 3 others. One issue on my car had ended up taking two months in 3 different shops. Not only did the problem never get fixed in that time, but they told me only as much as I'd already diagnosed when I had to come pick it up. Blue Lakes Auto Repair had it diagnosed correctly and back to new in a matter of weeks. Highly, highly recommend.

Got an older Buick from my papa and knew it needed some love. BLAR on Washington really hooked it up. Gave a budget of $3,000 thinking of course it'd be very close to that. Honest guys did all the work and then some cleaning for at $2k. Thankful for their work, not a lot of shops would give back change when given a budget. It's been a week and the car runs like the classic it is. Thanks guys

I've had to bring my lincoln to these guys and they were great! Communication was amazing, they got the job done, they are ford dealer certified (dealer recommended them to me )so they gave me peace of mind. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner, my car was still clean on the inside the way I keep it. Parts for the car are Napa parts and have a warranty. Labor was fair, and the shop was ridiculously clean, which I appreciate!!

Service sucked. I made an appointment and they were a month out. Once they got my car in the shop they didn't touch the car until 2 weeks later. had to keep calling to keep them on top of it. They finally gave me a quote for over $7000 in repairs! Not bring my car back.

Had problems with them about 5 years ago. We fought back and forth for cost of something. Finally they sent me a letter apologizing reversing the charge. I was leery going back but I took my van to them about 6 months ago. It took them about a week but they figured it out. The replaced an expensive part and when that wasn't it they put the old one back in and didn't charge for a new part. Gavin was helpful in keeping us up to date. My car on Saturday wouldn't start. I towed it in and they took a look at it and I identified the problem and fixed all by Monday at 4. So less then a day. They also unlocked my radio for me so that it would work. They have won me back.

I had a blown fuse box in my car, they found and fixed the problem right away. They did a great job, and I would return if I have a problem I can't fix.

I love a shop where you can actually talk with the technition who's working on your car and this shop is not one of them. In my particular case the person at the front desk made sure that did not happen. Their reward for miscommunications was $120.00 for programming the wrong key fob with no transponder chip.

They staff is friendly but there mechanics do horrible work. Took an F150 and they replaced the whole engine. It broke down in Boise 3 days after they fixed it and pretty much told me to figure it out on my own while I was stranded up there. What a great company and even better mechanics. I d give it negative if I could.

5 stars across the board! I have been relying on Kevin and his hand picked crew of master-technicians for over twenty years. You get what you pay for folks... but you never pay for what you don't need when you trust the team at Blue Lakes Auto. Let me tell you... as a proud owner of a BMW (I drive it hard) I literally trust this team with my life. I'll never go anywhere else.

Normally I dont give out 5 stars. However these guys are super helpful. They actually treat you like a human being not some bank with alot of money. They're customer service was outstanding and to the point. Would highly recommend it for anybody that does not want to waste money at a dealership. Thank you Blue Lakes Auto.

I bought a key from them, and they charged me for programing, on a self programing key. What would have cost around $50.00 from the Chevy Dealership, cost me $172.75. Talk about taking advantage. You should be ashamed. It would be zero stars if I could. That is over $100.00 difference.

Helpless shop. Will over charge you for a diagnostics and dump used engine oil into the sewer. We did not accept to do the work here, and I think we did the right choice. The staff was not nice nor welcoming. No mask, no hand sanitizer.
