We had a early morning electrical issue and needed a tow. One of the owners came to our rescue. Extremely professional and highly highly compassionate. Quick service. I would add more stars if i could.

I was super impressed by the customer care and service. I had to get towed off of the interstate passing through the area and they were helpful, knowledgable, and quick. Being on the side of the interstate they were super aware and concerned about my safety. I would 100% count on them again if needed.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

We unfortunately broke down in our truck towing our fifth wheel we were picked up after 4 hours by a wrecker that towed us to the nearest dealership to drop our truck and left us there with our rig and no way to go anywhere fortunately we came in contact with Chad and he came out to tow our rig the additional 40 miles to our site. Because we have an Anderson hitch we had to make some adjustments but he went above and beyond and towed us in a crazy rainstorm to get us where we needed to go. When things went wrong on a cross-country drive, I couldn't have hoped for anyone better to have answered my call for help. Beyond towing my vehicle and trailer off of I-90, I was offered advice on my mechanical issue, suggestions on the local services I would need later that night and next morning (mechanic, hotel, U-Haul), and even ideas on how I could most effectively get myself and things to my destination! While it may be frustrating to get you car towed, these guys were very professional and helpful. I popped a tire on the side of a mountain and couldn't move my truck till the morning l. I didn't get there quick enough the next day and the sheriff's dept had my truck towed. As irritated as I was with the situation the folks working here at Nickersons gave me a good deal on the tow fee and even gave me a tire to help me out and the tools to change it. This place makes a bad situation almost pleasant, thank you!

Nickerson Towing truly exemplifies above and beyond customer service! This past December my husband got stuck in his Suburban rig due to snow, ice or a rock near a cliff coming down the mountain. He had the equipment to get himself out however he had a bad arm and where he was stuck was a concern. He called USAA since he's a disabled combat veteran. However they couldn't find a 3rd party person to come out for at least 6 hours. He wasn't in a rush however the issue was they also couldn't really locate him. The insurance person for USAA or many other insurances may be a person from a different state that looks at maps to locate where you are on the road. He was coming down from a mountain, in this situation you're best bet are towing services local who knows the area.Nickerson Towing was the first and the last business I called. I called more than 10 towing business from Wallace where I was to where my husband was in Silver Valley Mountain to Coeur d-Alene 35 minutes from him. I was pretty much doing the same thing USAA was doing which was finding a towing service near and for sooner rather than later. It was a weekend early afternoon during winter. We understood that the businesses we called were busy, short staff and had only one driver and that driver was heading to a job out of the way therefore the wait time would at least be a few hours. Some businesses wasn't open on the weekend. Some recommended Nickerson as well which was admirable. Other businesses that answered to be mindful of did not have a towing vehicle with 4 wheel drive so make sure to ask in case your stuck in those conditions that requires a 4wd like we did. Also I appreciate that Nickerson Towing took our situation seriously and was not like a business in Coeur d'Alene that laughed and was condescending as if I haven't tried to call other towing services closer to where he was.They are affordable and fair especially for their quality provided and for the conditions and circumstances we were in. Their road service is detailed and thorough on their receipt with charges and information for towing, mileage, special equipment use, labor, reason for towing, towing destination and type of towing. By the way with USAA as a military member we submitted a claim with the receipt and received a full reimbursement since we had to use roadside services outside our policy.I appreciate and respect Jerry and his team on so many levels for all they did, their demeanor, customer service, how they handled the situation, their compassion and professionalism. Our 1st call he was honest and transparent that they were busy and short staff however advise me to call back if I couldn't find anybody sooner they could provide us the service however the wait time could be 3 to 4 hours. The second call later he truly went above and beyond, problem solved, made things happen, and possible when he didn't have to. He offered to call a friend that was near and my husband and I both talked to his driver seperately along the way until he got there within the hour, simply just considerate. He knew the area well, they communicated well, were efficient, personable and kind. Thank you Nickerson Towing Team for being absolutely amazing!

Jerry the owner showed up to do a recovery for me. Not only was he quick to be there but was professional and did quality work. Took some configuring but I was up and back on the road in no time with hardly any damage. I figured it wasn't gonna be in great shape coming out but it was driveable and in great shape. Thanks again and hope to see ya next time on different terms.

After getting my new hybrid rav 4 a little wet (that's a different story) I needed a tow. I was a bit in the country, 6 hours from home, and on vacation with my little boy. The 76 station said call Nickerson. He was super fast, seemed genuinely concerned about my situation, picked us up, good conversation, towed me to Toyota in CDA. The service guy at Toyota, not super cool - I'll save his name, was trying to say it was my fault (I ran through a bit of water on a country rode and the car shut down). While I was off talking to the rental car desk, I heard Nickerson talking to the service guy saying - I saw what he drove through, if that car can't go through that I would be seriously disappointed, he then said, I have towed people out of standing water before without that problem. He was going to bat for me!!!! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. If only everyone in the world was like these guys it would be a better place. Thanks for saving me back there!

Jerry was a fantastic guy. Even though he was working doubles with very little sleep his attitude was awesome and had me constantly laughing. Our car broke down and he towed us to the Motel at a very reasonable price then the next morning towed us to the dealership to get it fixed for free. When I offered to pay he just said Merry Christmas. He also got us a fantastic deal at the motel

Had a multiple tire blowout out of cell range late at night, fortunately a Highway patrol officer came by and radioed for Nickerson towing. They got there quick, were kind, recommended a tire shop and a hotel where I could receive a discount by mentioning them. Could not recommend them enough!

My husband broke down on a holiday weekend in the middle of the night, and they got to him within 20 minutes, and towed him to their shop. They also did the work on our car. They finished in a timely manner and the price was beyond reasonable. Everyone we talked to was super nice, polite, and very professional. Thank you to everyone who works there! Highly recommended to all!!

Fantastic, they saved our Bacon! My husband was stranded with no cell phone service on the Idaho passes, I was in a panic because good Samaritans had stopped and picked up my kids and I, but I had to leave him with the truck. I called several places that were too busy or too far and wouldn't assist. These guys moved some jobs around and were on the scene quickly. I so appreciate them and their hard work and my bill was totally reasonable. Thank you again!!!!

Professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and honest, he told me that it would be a waste of time and money to do what I thought I needed done. He could have just taken my money and done what I asked, but instead told me I should take it to the dealer and have them do a computer check/reset. 5 stars for honesty and helpfulness.

My truck had broke down on the highway and I had been able to get it to the casino. Nickerson towing showed up insanely fast, got me loaded quickly. The owner is a super friendly guy and the price of the tow was lower than any other in the area. I will definitely use this service if I have auto trouble in this area again.

We broke down 4 miles outside of Kellogg during a trip from Montana to Washington. Nickerson towing was quick in response. The driver was outstanding, took us to the repair shop, he even helped the shop call around for parts needed to repair the vehicle. He was super professional and had a sense of humor which always makes things better. Price was very reasonable for the tow and effort he put into making sure we could continue our journey. Thanks again!!

Chad was on time and extremely helpful. I'll certainly recommend this company when I can. After getting my sister-in-law's car to her home, he jumped the battery as well. Service above and beyond!!

Jerry, Paul and Chad were LIFESAVERS! Our truck broke down on the freeway outside of Kellogg ID (from a previous mechanic mistake) towing our 45 ft Fifth Wheel. My husband was able to fix it enough to get us to an off ramp where the Sherriff's Department dispatched an amazing officer to come stay with us for safety. Officer Richter helped tremendously over his radio comms because we had no service and was able to get Jerry and his team to us quick ( 2 tow trucks required!) AND get us to the local service shop. Much more to the story but all in all, they were downright amazing!!!!!! We are so grateful and blessed by their caring service!!!!!

Broke down near Lookout Pass summit. Owner (Jerry) had great mechanic on staff at his place in Smelterville. Chad the mechanic and Chad the owners son had me on the road again in 2 hours. Great service, reasonable price. Great guys, all of them.

We broke down on our way home to North Dakota from Pendleton at 5:30 in the morning. The tow truck arrived quickly and took us back to the shop. While we waiting for the mechanic to arrive we were taken out for breakfast to pass the time. The customer service was great and is what you would expect coming from a small town business. It didn't take long and we were on the road again.

Jerry was a fantastic guy, funny and positive. Helped us out twice and even put us in a good hotel since we were from out of state. Would highly recommend these people again and again!The mermaid approves :)

They just saved us today when my buddies car broke down at a rest stop just East of Lookout Pass on the Montana side. The owner and his son were great. They even took us back to Spokane with a Lotus on the flat bed of the truck. Thank you!

My husband and I got a flat tire at Lookout pass. BMW ASSISTANCE set up a flat bed to pick up the car. I am sad that I don't remember the gentlemans name that rescued us, but he was great. Took us along with the car to the hotel which would be closer to the tire repair shop.I also feel bad we didn't give him a tip. As we were having issues with getting a regular king room. Jerry Nickerson went above and beyond. My family and I were camping this weekend, or at least were trying to camp. The springs on my trailer broke in route to our camping spot on friday night late. We literally stayed in our trailer that night just off the highway. That morning I called Nickersson Towing (after being recommended by friends that live in the area and others as well), I sent Jerry pics of what was broken on the travel trailer, he immediately knew what it was and there was no way to tow our 30 foot trailer. However he went out of his way to come several miles to my trailer and take the springs apart, drove into Post Falls, ID to get the new spring, then brought it back and installed it that night. It was an all day event for him and I can't say how much I was not only surprised but very humbled to see that there are still people who go above and beyond for others. He could have easily said he couldn't do it until monday or not even attempted to help at all and went on to the next job. I never do reviews online, but I wasn't sure how else to express my gratitude for myself and my family not having to sleep by a highway for the 2nd night in a row. Nickerson Towing and Jerry Nickerson in particular is not only getting 5 stars, definitely the best service I've seen from any business/person in my lifetime.

Amazing service from a great guy!!!! Beyond the call of duty, on a snowy Christmas Eve morning, after several days of working with barely any sleep, Jerry Nickerson towed our vehicle from where our engine died @ a mile from the summit of Lookout Pass in Idaho. We'd been heading to Montana to visit our grand-kids for Christmas. He towed the car all the way back to his lot in Smelterville,(over 20 miles) and then, when we couldn't find any other transportation to Coeur d'Alene (35 miles east) to rent a car before they closed at 3PM, he personally and graciously drove us all the way there, to the car rental office. He was our family's Christmas miracle! And this was when his own home was still without power after the storm of the preceding night. This is one wonderful human being- the kind of person you like to believe exists, but you often don't get to meet. Yes, Virginia, there really is a Santa Claus!
