Top notch customer/technical support. These guys are a wealth of knowledge regarding anything sportster and buell. They make super high-quality parts that make more power and won't let you down. They are passionate about what they do, and it shows. Also, definitely take advantage of their detailed how-to videos on YouTube if you plan on doing your own engine work. I've had their big bore kit, cams, and oil pump drive gear for over 15,000 miles with zero issues. The extra horsepower is nice too!

Picked up a 1275 kit for my 2005 Sportster Custom (XL883C). I loved the kit. With time and patience, it was an easy install. Watch the RPM during the break-in process. I have a lot more power now, and I'm always grinning from ear to ear!

Got great advice and ordered parts up for my bike that made an impressive difference in performance. I was able to do the work on my own, although it was quite extensive. The written articles and videos were very detailed and if I had questions I could get quick answers from calling or e-mailing. I very highly recommend this business. They empowered me to do something I am proud of.

I did business with them back in 2016. Not sure why I am just getting around to the review. If I had another Sportster project, I would gladly do business with them again. Would not hesitate. The owner was extremely patient with me as I went back and forth with what I wanted and gave me multiple solutions to choose from.

Upgraded my 17 iron 883 with a 1275 kit. Everyone I talked to was super helpful and knowledgeable. Great quality parts along with all the info you need including step by step video for the upgrade process that has helpful tips and tricks as well. 10/10 will continue to recommend to everyone looking for a little or allot more performance from their toys.

After paying for pre assembly Kit came missing parts (circlips). They were not in piston as intructions state. Once notified while friendly enough no expedited shipping or anything. Delayed my project for weeks with my bike torn down. Put me behind on break in for dyno tuning which has to be scheduled out 6 weeks in advance in my area so had to cancel. Friendly people and definitely experts with v twins. However quality control was lacking. Thin spots of black coating and overspray on sealing surfaces. Dings and scuffs on sealing surfaces. Actually had metal flakes still stuck to surface from shavings on fixtures before mounting and machining. They could include some extra hardware or at least make some ammends for wasting customer's time. I chose Hammer because they had options for pistons as part of the kit and 1275cc vs 1200 or 1250 of other brand kits may not have been worth the wait and delays. Time will tell.

My bike has been running for nearly 5 years with their engine part (1250 Kit, Sledge heads, 600 cams, billet intake manifold) with no problems. Very happy.

I haven't got the big bore kit that I'm wanting to get yet but everything I've seen with these guys you'd be going the wrong direction if you choose somewhere else to get your performance upgrades.

Let me just say that these gals and guys are really good. They really know these bikes, and their customer service and tech line support are second to none. My bike is running like never before. If you ve got a sporty or a Buell get your butt over there!

This place smokes on delivery. I bought a new front motor mount for the later xl1200 heads, valves springs,seals, keepers and locks, shipping to sc 2 days. I already got the valve job done. You got questions they will answer and quickly too. I was worried if I ordered the right part and I asked if I had, they checked to make sure it was OK. Above and beyond in customer service. Quicker,better and less expensive than the local guru in gaffney.waited 2 weeks on an intake valve that turned into an exhaust valve so I used hammer performance. They will be my go to from now on.Service: Delivery

These guys are the best. If you're considering any kind of upgrade for your bike you'd be a fool to go anywhere else. Their products are top notch, the prices are great, and they're pleasant to deal with.I bought a sportster 1250 kit in 2018, installed it in the off season, and they were there supporting me the entire time. They have great and in depth installation videos, help videos, and the customer support is honestly the best of any company I've ever encountered. After the 1250 kit I was considering doing some lower end work and shot them an email at about 2am on a Saturday morning. I woke up 5 hours later to an email that not only had the options available, but he even took the time to look up the additional parts on ebay that I'd need but they don't carry and sent me the links.I wish there were more stars to give.

While the ordering process of the big bore kits for the sportsters is a little daunting, the customer service department really comes through with selecting all the right items. Not only did they help me put together the list of items I need, they also double and triple checked the order. They were able to find some issues with what I ordered and saved me money. Other companies I have ordered specialized parts from basically let me order the parts and then contact them to return the items.Andrew at Hammer Performance is also very knowledgeable in most if not all their upgrade kits.Amazing customer service. I will write another review about the quality of the hardware when I receive it.

We usually do all of our borres in house but I decided to send my personal ones here. They are super professional and their work is some of the best. They bored out my cylinders and matched the pistons. I measured the bore against the piston and they are on to the ten thousandth. Perfect. I'm going to do all our machine work here from now on. They've got to be one of, if not THE best in the country.Service: Engine repair

Amazingly knowledgeable everything Sportster Evo big twin twin cam big twin. Love to answer questions I've gotten a lot of help from you guys and honestly I haven't spent a whole lot of money with them yet, so I always suggest them to anyone I talk to. Definitely understand the core of customer service considering you don't even have to spend a dime with them and they will spend time answering your question or helping you with anything you need.

Great customer service. I'm in Australia and they replied to my enquires straight away. I was able to ask multiple questions and make the purchase before any local shops would even get back to me They sent me detailed information on the package and offer great after sales support. Highly recommend!

Fast service. When i placed the order my parts needed material shipped to them to complete the service. The shop wait time was 2 weeks. In 1 week my kit was shipped ups with tracking number. Quick and easy.

1 star for quality of their big bore kits, 5 stars for quality of their head work, their cams and the associated performance of their kits. Long story short, first kit smoked/burned oil during break-in and showed scuffed cylinder walls (pre-gapped and installed pistons), second kit shot oil out the side upon initial start-up due to hole in casting, third kit you can see the rusty cylinder liner through the cylinder fins. Third kit functions as intended and I was too exhausted to pursue it further. New kits were provided each time so I appreciated that; however, I lost valuable personal time, hundreds of dollars and months of riding. The frustration was monumental, but fortunately the bike performs well and is fun to ride.

Like many others, I sort out the most reputable sporty conversion shop and HP stood out as the best. They were great to talk to and worked on the bike. They got about 98-99 hp out of it on the dyno. However, when I got it back my steering stem almost came off while on the highway because it was not tightened. A week later I brought it to a shop near me because of some strange noise. Found out I was missing key engine components. Hammer sent the parts slowly as well as some wrong parts which I had to buy outside to get my bike back, which was sitting on the lift for 4 months. Completely disappointed with the whole thing. Between their work and fixing their work, I spent about 5k. Not a great way to own their error.
