I was traveling through Salmon Idaho and needed my work vehicle looked at due to smell and noise it was making. The service department was prompt and gave me a diagnosis quickly.

Not even worth a 1 star!!! Don't buy a used vehicle from this place they sell lemons!!! Yes LEMONS I bought a 2019 ram in April 2023 and it has been in a dodge dealership since May 5th of 2023 for cam shaft issues and still havent got it back. I put 8k down and have made all my payments with no remorse from the management at salmon river motors to make it right. The truck was under manufacture warranty for the cam shafts. If you are from another state they are protected from lemon law. Sales team is awesome but that's where it ends.

Awesome, low/no pressure purchase experience from"Salmon River Motors Inc"They had a used Mustang the specific year, color and options I was looking for. I called and talked to Tyler and a few weeks later the car was my new garage toy/weekend fun car.The communication was excellent and made the whole long distance sight unseen purchase pretty effortless.Tyler answered all my questions, sent specific photos and was honest about mechanical maintenance that might need be addressed in the near future.The car is an 05 so I wasn't expecting perfection, but I did request (and was provided) the mechanics findings from the pre-sale inspection findings, which have also been verified by my mechanic.No unwanted surprises the car was exactly as represented.Bottom line, it was a hassle free and enjoyable purchase.

They even wash and vacuum your vehicle after an oil change!!! That's service in my book!!! Plus after your 5th oil change, the next one is free!!! Gary is a wonder Service Manager, also! I had a Chiropractic appointment scheduled, so, they drove me over and offered to pick me up when I was ready. It was such a beautiful day, that I opted to walk back and take in some sun! It was an exception experience having auto maintenance taken care of. First time I have ever left feeling peace and not concerned about being taken advantage of!!! They earned my loyalty for all my future automotive needs!

The sales people are great. They are not pushy and are very nice. However, their prices are very high, and they took a long time to diagnose my truck without fixing it. I wouldn't recommend buying or getting maintenance here unless you're desperate.

Bought a used 2017 F-350 from them. They had the best price, in the best condition, and were willing to negotiate. I drove 5 hours to look at the pickup before I purchased it, and one of the salesmen met me after closing hours to let me look at the truck, knowing I couldn't purchase it that day. They worked with my personal bank, and everything went flawless. They were super friendly and sent me on my way with a full 58 gallon tank of fuel. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Wish they were closer to me!

Stopped by here and met the sales person Cody. He was courteous and helpful. Some nice vehicles too! Did a couple of test drives too! Super awesome place with some classic Chevys in the showroom!

Told the guy how much I wanted to spend on a used camper. He kept showing me new campers for double the amount of what I had wanted to spend. They wanted me to put a down payment of half the camper. Then, on top of that they lied about my credit score. I asked what it was and all he told me was it was under 500!! But he wouldn t even give me a number, just said it was under 500. This visit wasted three hours of my limited time. I went to the bank to check my credit because I knew they had lied to me. Guess what, my credit score is well over 700. If I could, I would rate this place zero stars but I am required to give them at least one. I would not recommend this place to any human. If you want great customer service, go to Sierra RV by Ogden, Utah. Sierra RV is hands down the best place to buy a new or used camper/rv.

They charged me over $1200 for a computer that wasn't the problem. I was on vacation, 4 hours from where I live. They pretty much told me to bring it back. Not even a sorry. I guess when your in a small town you hire who ever says they're a mechanic. Hope nobody breaks down in Salmon Idaho.

Packed and ready to leave from camping in Salmon, Idaho. We heard a loud bang from our Ford F 350 we called Salmon River motors. Kenny Martens met us in the parking lot and immediately diagnosed we had blow our CAC boot. He then pulled our truck into the bay fixing the truck within 45 minutes we were back on the road.Thank youSalmon River MotorsAmazing service department and friendly to boot!!

Needed a computer module for my van the guy said he spent a hour or so looking on the internet and calling around for it. Told me I was out of luck.He couldn't find anyone to rebuild it. Was VERY rude about it.I called carquest and they were able to mail it off no problem. Guess he didn't check locally.

Took my van here 6 weeks later I got it back in worse condition than it was when it went in and they added a huge dent in the back door. But they did add a almost $700 bill. The manager wouldn't even come down to meet with me. Poor business practices

BUYER BEWARE !!!DAN AND KYLE TOTALLY BURNED ME OUT OF MY PURCHASE OF A CAR THAT WE MADE A DEAL ON, I HAD CASH AND WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAPERWORK!!,THEY TOLD ME ON THE PHONE , PLUS I HAVE THE EMAIL TO PROVE IT AND THE TEXT ,THAT THE CAR WAS AVAILABLE AND COULD BE PURCHASED IF I MADE THE DEAL RIGHT THAN, WICH I DID, WE AGREED ON A PRICE, I SENT MY SOCIAL, MY LICENSE, AND TOLD HIM I WOULD FLY OUT AND PICK UP THE CAR.SO AFTER MAKING ARRANGEMENTS TO FLY , I CALLED TO TELL THEM I WAS COMMING AND THAN I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WERE ALLOWING ANOTHER "POTENTIAL" BUYER TO BUY THE CAR!THEY TRIED TO MAKE EXCUSES, BUT WE HAD MADE A DEAL PERIOD!I JUST HATE THAT THESE GUYS WEREN'T HONEST, THEY CAN SAY WHAT THEY WANT BUT A DEAL SHOULD HAVE BEEN A DEAL!I HAVE A BUSINESS AND I CERTAINLY DON'T, AND WILL NOT , TREAT MY CUSTOMERS THE WAY I WAS TREATED !DAVE
