I am a tourist..so, was easily identified as 'not a local'. Sunday...of the two employees, one was with a customer, the other was just plain rude. He had no time for me. Yes, he finally spoke to me...but if I had to buy car parts in Salmon, I'd visit the other parts store.Edit...two days later I received a note from the store. Asked if I wanted talk to someone. I replied "I had no objection to talking to someone" and included my number....no call.

Oreillys has always taken good care of my auto needs as far as parts, etc... The Idaho Falls locations, as well as the Salmon, I'd. location. Prices are good, and knowledge of employees is good, and they're friendly.

Staff was helpful after being unable to find the part I was looking for myself as it was out of stock. However, the secondary part works just as intended, although it was more difficult to install.

I am so thankful that O'Reilly's was open January 1st, 2022 in Salmon, Idaho! I was able to get a new battery for my vehicle! They were very helpful and installed the battery! Great customer service! They will always get my business in Salmon going forward!

This place is awesome! The employees that i have been helped by have been amazing! I always get what I need. The store is clean and rarely ever busy. I always stop by here on my visits to Salmon! Definitely check it out!

We hit a rock coming off the Lost Trail Pass which busted a hole on our transfer case...we still had several hours of travel left to get home to SLC. The guys at O Reily not only gave my partner step by step instructions on how to patch the hole and helped him pick out the appropriate products, they let us borrow ramps so that he could easily make the repair there in the parking lot. The employees knowledge and guidance helped us get home safely.

Nice enough people however they charged me a core charge for a brand new alternator which to me just sounds like unjust enrichment with 100% brand new why should they charge me a core
