Chris and his team are so helpful! Every time I have taken a vehicle into the Coffey s, I have left satisfied with their service. They are always willing to help, and some of the kindest people. I recommend taking your vehicle into the Coffey s whether it s to get it fixed or just a simple oil change!

I went in today to talk to them about getting an oil change. The lady behind the counter was talking to someone about canoeing, the weather, etc. In short, this was not a business conversation.Anyway, I waited, and I waited, and I waited. Not once did she say anything to acknowledge my presence like, "Hey, I'll be right with you."Finally I said, "Tell you what! I'll come back when you are NOT busy." Guess what? I will not be back.Chris may be the best mechanic in this area, but if I have to deal with the no friendly no service front desk, forget it.

Chris has done work on every vehicle I ve ever owned! He now works on my kids vehicles as well. Chris is well educated and has been a mechanic for so long that he is super knowledgeable! He doesn t just hook it up to a computer and throw parts at vehicles. His shop is always clean and organized. I highly recommend Salmon Qwik Lube and Coffey to work on all vehicles. I m sure some of you are thinking, they are family friends and have been for almost 30 years. Yes, very true! That s why I know that he is an amazing mechanic!! Brought my Truck in on a tow. Not sure why it broke down. They figured it out quickly and even stored my 75 Ford in the shop overnight. All around great service Now they are the number 1 place for all my auto needs. I had an oil change done on my vehicle and they did a wonderful job. They refilled all my fluids and cleaned my mirrors and windshield. It only took about 10- 15 minutes. A wonderful place to go if you need a quick oil change.

We stopped in Salmon, ID for a few days on our way from Missoula, MT to Boise, towing a 38 fifth wheel with a Ford F-450. I noticed an oil leak around the oil filter. Took it in and the quickly identified the problem, a cracked filter housing/casting that had spewed half my oil on the drive south. There was no way to fix it without a new part, and there was not one to be had neaby. It was a Thursday and I explained I was leaving following Monday for Boise. Owner cautioned me no way would it be safe to tow a 16,000 lb. trailer to Boise with it leaking like that. They got the replacement part overnight from Salt Lake, and on Friday worked me into their very busy schedule. I got out the door with a very fair price and once again a happy camper and didn t have to upend the remaining part of our trip. Honest, went way beyond the call of duty to helm me out of a bind. Quality work, highly recommend.Service: Engine repair

They added an extra three percent to my bill because I used a credit card. That's a first for me but had to pay because it wasn't worth me driving half a day to pay in cash. Also wanted to charge me a fee of $200 plus mileage to deliver a lift one way. How they stay in business is a great question. Next time I'll go to Idaho Falls or Sun Valley.

A lot of services in these situations are based on reception and how people are treated. I do not have any idea how the receptionist still has a job. She has been beyond rude on more than one occasion. I have never seen her be nice, oh that s lie, as my disabled sister and I were inside, waiting to pick up a vehicle, she outright ignored us, went to a young man, and asked him if he had a mother, and informed him about the Mother s Day drawing; yet shunned my sister and I like we had the plague.That is the only time I have taken my vehicle there, and I urge my family to not use them until they replace their receptionist.Chris has always been nice and polite, but that receptionist has got to go!

Called to rent a lift and the lady says they'll put it on the charger because they aren't sure if it'll work as is. I went there the next day and she says, yeah I think they charged it then got mad at me because I didn't want to rent something she thinks might work. Stuff was all snowed in and they would have had to dig out a trailer and the lift for me to rent it. Yeah I'm not going to wait for you to do all of that when I scheduled with you to be there at a certain time. I needed to get to work on my own stuff.

Quoted $3000 for damages, actually cost $300 to fix elsewhere after second opinion and they exaggerated the damage to the vehicle by vast amounts because I'm a woman. Way to fleece your customers! You're lucky my husband didn't come down there.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I got a full service and they didnt put transmission fluid in, I didnt find this out until 3 weeks after my service now my transmission on my vehicle is garbage. They also cant stress the idea enough, how its and old vehicle and leaks tyranny fluid even though my vehicle has never had transmission fluid leaks. I brought it back and paid 70$ for them to look at it and start an oil leak that I didnt have before. Furthermore they also told me the same thing I already knew. Never taking another vehicle to this place again.

If I could put 0 stars it still wouldn't be low enough I was told to stop in between 9 and 2 my wife dropped in and was rudely told that she can not get a oil change even though there were no cars parked out side and they were booked I let it slide that they dint fill my antifreeze last time....and I cant let it go now this is not acceptable wish someone would open a new shop for affordable oil change
