Our technician was so nice, even being out in the bitter cold he had a smile and joke. He happily accommodated me in dropping our truck in a convenient spot for us. Best part was they took off all the paperwork for insurance! Definitely made having a broke down vehicle so much smoother, and I might add having a large truck it was no issue for them would use them 100x more!

Oh my gosh!! David was very accommodating with my difficult Towing situation. He Provided options for the conditions. They worked out great. His suggestions were spot on. Took great care of my new 23 Subaru.. smiles galore from me.

Had to slam on our breaks on Franklin. He ran the stop sign and cut us off. On a 50 mph road. Didn't even wave sorry or acknowledge that he almost killed us. Totally unprofessional.

Mike at Bill Ricks Towing helped turn an unpleasant situation into an enjoyable afternoon. When our car broke down we had to have it transported nearly 200 miles to a mechanic able to repair it. During our multi-hour drive, Mike entertained and informed us with a running commentary on the history, geography, geology and wildlife of a region he obviously knows intimately as a 4th (?) generation resident. I'm 600 miles from home when car engines starts flashing. Mike from Bill Rick's picks my friend and I up in a town 20 miles from Salmon. AAA told Mike to drop my car off at a body shop. Didn't need body shop. Mike said he know a mechanic that would look at it. Great people all around. Call Bill's for All your needs. Joyce from Ariel Washington.

I called Bill Rick's towing to see if they could help me with an after hours flat tire. They don't do flats but helped arrange someone after hours to get me fixed and going. Honest good people. Would recommend to anyone for towing service and if it's for something they don't provide he will point you in the right direction.

I had a flat on a loaded 1-ton truck with a trailer near North Fork and called Roadside Assistance (RA). Bill Ricks showed up in less than an hour (RA estimated 2 hours) and were friendly and professional. Because of my custom rims, they needed a special tool and had one in stock. They were able to get me back on the road within 2 hours, left me with the specialty tool, and were reasonably priced. They gave me an estimate before performing any work and asked if I thought the cost was fair. Top-notch service, thank you.Service: Tire change

My friend was stuck in Clayton with a tire blowout on July 4th weekend, and Bill Ricks Towing came within 2 hours and towed her back to Salmon which was 80 miles away, stayed with her until the local tire shop replaced her tire at midnight no less! And then gave her directions back to Stanley were our campsites were. She arrived safely back at 4am, but can't say enough about this company helping us out and making sure a tire shop could open their doors to replace her tire. I have referred their services to other people that are traveling in the area.Service: Car towing

Got a flat tire at midnight 30 min from salmon and they helped us out! Very quick and super friendly and even drove us home after dropping off our car at the tire place and offered to pick us up and take us to the tire place the next day. Great service!

I slid off the road between Challis and Stanley about an hour and a half from Salmon where Bill Ricks is located. David from Bill Ricks Towing was very professional and prompt. He was able to pull me back on to the road, tried to get the car going again, and when that failed, was willing to tow me back to Boise- a four hour drive, plus another five hours back for him. I did not have towing through my insurance, and David was willing to work with me and gave me a discount on my bill. I highly recommend their services.

David from Bill Ricks Towing was amazing! He arrived quickly, was friendly yet professional, and very knowledgeable about vehicles. He also helped us figure out the best place to stay and how to get around while we fixed the car. Added bonus: he owns a scrap yard with great parts- some we needed for our own vehicle! You definitely won t regret using them if you need a tow!

READ FULL REVIEW...[ I had problems at first and they were addressed later. ] I needed to get two abandoned 5 fifth wheel camper trailers hauled to the dump less than 4 miles away. I spoke with Dave Turner on the phone and he said it would cost about $100 per trailer to haul them to the dump. When the job was done I received a bill for $375 !!!! Almost double what I had originally been told. The driver who had done the work didn't know anything about what Dave Turner had told me, and I was stuck with a HUGE bill that was 87.5% HIGHER than I was told it would be. Getting a bill a little higher than expected would have been understandable due to needing to lift the trailers to get under them. Getting a bill almost twice what I had been told is just plain wrong. ADDENDUM...Dave Turner contacted me after seeing my review and refunded $135 of the $375 bill. A little over what the original bill should have been is okay due to needing to lift the trailers up to get under them vs. just hooking them up. He said there was a miss communication between him and the driver. While things like that happen and are a part of life, it still should not have happened over such a simple task. If there is ever a "next time", I will make sure everything I was told is agreed upon before any billable work gets done. I will give him credit for fixing the mistake.Service: Special vehicle towing

Was a very friendly guy and provided great towing service. But on top of doing great with their simple job description, they also helped me and my wife fix our car at their yard. They used their time and resources when they didn't have to. It's great business when someone goes beyond and does something more than what they agreed to give you for money.

Had a motorcycle mechanical break down while visiting Salmon. Called for help getting to the nearest Harley dealer with the needed parts in Belgrade, nearly 5 hours away. Bill arrived promptly with suitable equipment to safely and efficiently take the bike and myself on a very enjoyable drive to the dealer for a repair. The fee was about what I expected and very reasonable for the service. Thank you!

David and his team really went above and beyond when we found ourselves in a very sticky situation. They were all very professional, and even with the odds stacked against them, they remained tenacious and high-spirited. Can t thank them enough! David, Mike and Ron... you guys rock! Dave Turner, current owner of Bill Ricks Towing charged me $150.00 per hour for a recovery tow, ($750.00). Looking at the web this seems high. He said he charges a higher rate if the customer has tow insurance. Somehow that doesn"t seem right. I had tow insurance but a $250.00 limit. I am not sure if I got the higher rate or the lower rate.

Hit a rock in the middle of the night, David was there quick and ready to go. He gave us all our options and helped us figure out what was best for us. If I break down again I hope I'm near salmon ID!
