I was excited to stay here again. I even paid extra to get have a bathtub versus shower, but to no avail. There was nothing to keep the water in the bathtub. I tried a rag, a plastic cup and there was no phone to call anyone. It had to fill the rib three times and still fell short. Not everything is for everybody. This was not meant for me. I always say that I would rather know. Now I know.

So my husband and I were traveling through Idaho and planning on camping a night. However the trip was long and it started raining so we decided to try to find somewhere to stay. We ended up at the Riggins Motel and I m so glad we did! Such an amazingly romantic and relaxing little room with everything you could need! I m OCD and normally travel with my own bedding didn t even bother to pull it out because the room was so clean! The bathroom had a nice walk in shower and the bed was so comfortable! Totally a home away from home for the weary traveler. 5 Stars!

Very clean and nice! The sheets are soft , pillows are comfortable what more can you ask for? In town and easy walking to restaurants & bars. I highly recommend staying here.

We got a flat tire after passing through Riggins on Labor Day and became stranded. All the other hotels were closed or booked, but not only did the Riggins Motel have an available room at a very reasonable price, but Heather even offered to drive out to our stranded car to pick us up. The next time we pass this way we will plan to stay here again.

I was sick I had the flu I had bronchitis I drove my son up to the mountain I didn't know where I was. It was the last motel I could get before going over the Lolo pass. The front desk lady was so accommodating knew I was sick got me an extra blanket the room was warm and cozy and I passed out and slept better than I slept in a long time she didn't wake me up at 11 she let me sleep in best place ever 5 out of 5 I'd give her a 100.

Absolutely amazing!! Beautiful and cozy. Plenty of rooms, from 1-3 bed rooms and even a cabin. Nestled into the mountains and right on the river, amazing fishing, camping and restaurants all within minutes. Laundry facility on site, fire pit, as well as a hot tub, and the staff can't be beat. Great people. To top it all off, Riggins Motel is a registered historic landmark.

Been through Riggins many times, never stopped here though. Heather was incredibly nice and accommodating. Great spot to sleep for steelheading. Rooms were quaint and well kept. GJ Heather and thanks!

What a great little find. This little hotel is great if you are looking for an affordable no frills stay with DirecTV and amazing WIFI. Room is simple but fully adequate for a couple night stay. If I had to knock anything it would be that the mattress seemed a bit aged and wasn't entirely comfortable, but then again everyone sleeps differently, so I can't knock it too much. Oh and Candice is an amazing host, so friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Best place along the Salmon, for sure. Staying here is a must! I enjoyed the cozy feel, the friendly staff, and the great location. It's right in town, so you don't have to travel far in either direction to get to the best hiking and rafting spots (as opposed to staying somewhere like McCall), and the guy up front was more than capable of pointing me in the right direction for something a little more off the beaten path. Definitely will be here again!

small motel with big heart. always clean and affordable. Owners are biker friendly and provide micro towels to clean your bike. Have done a group reservation for me for rafting group. stayed many times and keep coming back. Never disappointed!

The office lady didn't even know if she was in Mountain or Pacific time. The room was $70.00, I understand that the place is remotely located, but keep it clean! I killed two spiders when I first went in, there was several long hairs on the bed, the sheets were stained, the shower had hairs on the wall, and the refrigerator made a noise all night.

Oh heck yes! This place rules. We rolled up after a long hot day on bikes and we were greeted with open arms, two cute doggos, and dinner! The owner is awesome and told us about more updates and great stuff that they are going to do with the place. We will have to come up to visit again.

Excellent quaint little place to stay. Clean, TV, fridge, cold a/c, walking distance, great owners, plus best of all 5 window old Dodge sitting in the front. I will be back. Thank you.

Love this little motel. Just finished our weekend here and the people were fantastic and very accommodating. It s a small quaint motel so it s not the Hilton. It s exactly what we were looking for. We will be back here many more times.

Quaint and cute. In the middle of town so it's walking distance to a few restaurants. Room had a TV, fridge and microwave plus 3 beds. Very clean and quiet. Pleasant staff and all the usaul extras; ice machine, fire pit, outside games, wifi, etc.

Awesome place! Just off highway 95 and packed with nostalgia and old west history The rooms are smallish but clean, beds are very comfortable and the room and property have nice amenities (cable TV, hot tub, fire pit, Wi-Fi, laundry). All for a refreshingly low nightly rate! Owner, Candy, is a one woman booster club for the town and its people. The motel is a great place to stay and enjoy Riggins Idaho!

Giving it 5 stars because it was clean and management was great. But it is small and a bit cramped, the bed is more firm than I'd prefer and pillows are not good for people with neck issues. But overall good.
