Levi and Cody and the crew are good guys willing to work hard and be straight with you on their work.They have replace my light bulbs and changed the oil and worked on my car in different ways. Great place

Been going here for over 2 years. I travel a lot for work so I am always needing oil changes. I also bought all my tires from them. So every time I go in for my oil change they rotate my tires as well. Even when I got a nail on my tire they took care of it pretty quick.

Levi and the team here are awesome!! These guys go above and beyond to make sure any of their customers issues are taken care of. To my understanding they recently hired a new lady there and she s also awesome! I can t remember her name but she was a huge part of the process when it came to helping get serviced here! So one more time HUGE SHOUT OUT to these guys at Tri State Tire!!

They changed my motor oil, rotated my tires, changed my transmission fluid, filter and cleaned the screen, and installed a new air filter, all for just under $330. Great affordable price! They have been taking very good care of my vehicles since I moved to Rexburg 2&1/2 years ago. Would not go anyplace else! Thank you, Tri State tire!

Levi told me they could get me in at 4, and I sat there for forty minutes before leaving when it was obvious that was a lie for a front end alignment. He basically ran out with my keys in the middle of me talking to him.Dude also thinks that .25 degrees of total toe-in is a sin and wasn't knowledgeable enough to know that a bit of toe-in improves braking stability and straight-line feel. He thought that would destroy tires and treated me like an idiot when I specified it. Fun fact: it doesn't . Factory spec on my car is .2 degrees, anyway.Generally just kind of skeezy from the hour I was there.

I don't normally do reviews but this warrants it. My fiance had gone here a couple times with his car and they did a semi good job. Then I bought a car from some one, and wanted to get it checked out to see if there was anything crazy that needed to be fixed. So we came here cause we new they were pretty good. Well we were wrong. I brought it in and told them there were a couple lights on and I wanted a diagnostic done to see what it needed, it was a slightly older car. Well they were very unprofessional when I asked about it and were just like "sure" without discussing what it they would do or what they charge. I didn't think a ton of it. Well when I came back for my car later they told me that they changed the oil, topped off coolant, and that it was fine. They didn't give me a paper with the diagnostic or say anything else. And also when I went to turn it on some of the lights were still on, like the oil change one. I was extremely unimpressed and didn't trust it. So we found another place while out of town to get an ACTUAL diagnostic done. Needless to say, there was a lot that they found, including but not limited to a couple engine leaks which needed attention soon, coolant, power steering, AND oil flushes, and more. If I had just trusted Tri State's so called "diagnostic" then I would have run into a lot of trouble in a couple months with my care. Overall, unprofessional, not particularly nice, uninformative, and honestly just not educated seeing as they said my car was fine when it CLEARLY was not.

Got me in and fixed my vehicle in a timely manner. Greatful that they were able to get it in and out within the same day. Took care of what was wrong and didn't try to hold ransom for other unnecessary things needing fixed. Very competitive in pricing and not shorting on quality workmanship. Took a part in that upon finding out no way could do on my own. Gave me a quote on the phone with what needed done, and upon completion, the final total was about 150 lower than quoted.

I Feel the need to warn people not to business with this location. Levi is a dishonest man and the shops mistakes led to my friends car engine having to be replaced. After talking with others in the automotive community in Rexburg about this shop all of them had similar things to say about Levi s reputation in that he s not an honest man and that they you d likely have to take legal action to get any help out of him. They changed the oil in a car but FORGOT TO PUT OIL IN IT. My friends car broke down on the way home from zippy lube with oil light and check engine light she called them and they turned her away instead of helping her. I checked it myself when she got home no oil on the dip stick and none under the car. Levi came to check out the car then left taking her keys with him saying he was going to have it towed he didn t come back till the next day. Levi showed up the next morning unannounced and was caught adding oil to her car When confronted he was flustered and agitated He then proceeded to start the car slam the door and drive off revving the already damaged engine. Then on the phone gave the owner the run around for a week and lies on top of lies. They did end up replacing the engine but after so much head ache and difficulty from Levi.

These guys are great! They I go here quite often after doing any steering/suspension work. They always get me in quick and do a great job!

They changed my cars oil today. The price was very reasonable and they got me all done in 45 minutes. The first 3 places I went to all were short on staff and told me 3 to 4 hours. So I'm very happy with Tri State.

Terrible service, I spent 3 hours there to get a pity hour return for a service don t incorrectly. I was given several eye rolls by the manager. Tried telling me he wasn t the issue for my Check engine light, quoted me 280 was charged 480 because of additional labor hours for tightening an bolt . That by the way when going into the shop was missing so I m still 400 bucks in the hole, time was waisted, refused a phone number to the owner and paid 400 dollars for not fixing my car and introducing check engine lights. And and was given the wrong part

They took great care of my car on 2 different occasions. The first time I needed an alternator replaced. They were sure to call me often to let me know of the status of it, and repaired it swiftly and promptly, and made sure to let me know if an issue ever arose. The second time, my tire came off as I was driving, so I took it to Tri State for repair. This time, the service was fast again, they were extremely friendly, and the price was fair on both occasions. I would highly recommend Tri State Tire, they have never disappointed me.

This is literally the best mechanics shop in all of Rexburg. The two mechanics are true heros. Story time:Once upon a time it was 4 degrees in November and our car wouldn t start. It was parked on the main road so we decided to try to jumpstart it ourselves with our other car, but after 30 minutes of trying this we had no such luck. We were out of calls for AAA so with nothing else left to try we headed here and told them what was going on. Both of the main mechanics with hardly more than half the explanation out asked for the keys, drove out to my car, SUCCESSFULLY JUMPSTARTED IT IN MINUTES, drove it back and continued to work on it.Seriously, what mechanics do this? I don t care what anyone else says, they are legendary!

Levi at Tri State provided a mobile service for us. He went out of his way to drive to get parts and fix our trailer on the side of the road. Outstanding service. Tri State Tire really came through for us. Great experience. I would highly recommend them.

They have done two oil changes, brakes, rotors and alignment for me. We were pretty picky about tires but they found what we wanted and got them for us for a really reasonable price. I asked them to repair a trailer electrical plug that I dinged while backing up. They cut the welds and redid them and only charged me for a half hour of labor. Quality work, fast, polite and great prices. Even though we are moving away from Rexburg we will try to bring them more business when we can.

We had our first experience with Tri State Tire today and it went very smooth. We had an alignment done on our car and they gave us great information after the job was finished. The only negative I would say is they said they would call when it was finished but we didn t receive one. They may have just finished servicing it when we pulled up though.

I needed to be in and out with new tires to make an important appointment. They were quicker than I expected. I've taken vehicles there for the last 15 years. Some of the best service I have seen anywhere. Most honest people I've ever dealt with. Never over charged me, and I usually end up paying less than they initially quoted me. I always get competitve prices on tires, and they get me always in and out quickly and efficiently. They're always polite and respectful and professional to me, my wife and kids. If you're wondering if you should give them a chance, do it.

I had an oil change about 6 months ago and that was a straight forward and decent experience. Recently I went in to get my brakes and tires replaced and I'm not happy or confident with their work. I drove off the first time and there was no breaking power... they said they forgot a step. I came back a second time when I realized that the alignment I paid for was not done correctly at all. I don't think I'll come back here again.

They very much took care of me. Long story short I was going to sell my car to Levi. He replaced the struts for much less than they originally quoted and still let me keep the car after the fact, very kind and charitable. He even offered me a ride home when I was on foot. Levi waited after hours on a Friday and swapped out one of my tires after they were closed none the less.He made sure I was taken care of all at a very affordable price that was much better than the competition. I told another person of my experience and they said they always use tri-state tire and have also had nothing but good experiences with them. Tri State Tire comes highly recommended!

I got an oil change here and checked the oil afterwards. I was 2 quarts low on oil. For those of you who dont know that is absolutely horrible for your engine. Do not go here for oil changes! Who knows they probably dont change the filter either.

I don t know what kind of people they have here but they seem like kids that don t know what they re doing. Everytime I take my car in it always comes back with something broken that shouldn t be broken in the first place, and of course they charge because right I m missing 2 lug nuts and my tire is flat which I ve never had that problem before I came to your mechanics. My tire could ve fallen off or something could ve broke down the highway and caused an accident because these people can t do a quality job with simple basic tasks. They cut corners and just to make sure you come back to give them more money. Don t recommend.

I am very impressed with Tri State Tire. I have a daughter going to college there who had vehicle problems and she called and got a quote. They were very competitive on their price so I had her go to them. They were very fast getting the car in and getting it fixed. I figured we would have a much higher bill when they got done and would find other problems like other places I've been to. They not only stuck to their price that they quoted but also did a few other minor things at no charge. We will definitely be going back to them again and recommend them for anyone looking for an honest shop.

They re good but take forever to get an oil change. What should take about max of 40 min they make you wait for 2 hours. Customer service could use some more help on their end.

I was on a road trip from Montana and started to get a flat tire. I was 1/4 mile away and lost 20 PSI before I got there. The staff was able to get me in and out in roughly 15 minutes. They were kind and courteous and inexpensive. I would definitely visit again. I recommend Tristate Tire Rexburg very highly. You just can t beat good customer service.

My wife and I went to 3 other locations and called 6 other companies to find tires for our Dodge Journey which has 225/55/R19s on it, which is not a normal size. Plenty of people had them in stock, but could not do what we were asking for. We went into Tri State Tire around 9:15 am, got set up to get new tires around 9:30, and we drove out of there by 9:50. Not only was the service quick and easy and we were able to get the tires on the same day, they were able to help us get more than we were hoping to get this morning. The friendliness of the staff was great, they were very kind, and they were very helpful. It was the best experience I have had purchasing tires here in rexburg. We plan on going back anytime we need new tires. Plus, they offer free rotations and free balancing for the life of the tires. That may be common, but it's not offer I've had elsewhere. All in all, thank you, Tri State Tire, for an amazing service that left me feeling like a kid on Christmas morning!

Great group of guys. Just a good bunch of genuine dudes who want to help you. I had a motorcycle in need of a tire change and they let me bring the wheels in and they changed them for me. Exactly what I needed. Couldn t ask for much more. I definitely recommend.
