I appreciated their service and going above and beyond. I like that they will send you a text of all the things that could be worked on with the car, and what was most urgent. Also providing pictures and videos. I also appreciate that they gave me a ride to and from my house so I wouldn t have to get an Uber or rely on someone to drive me. Lastly thank you for working with me on the cost, finding discounts, and for communicating with me.

Took my tire here that was leaking air and they took a look at it, located cracks in the wheel wall and were straightforward and honest with no charge on the diagnostic. Fred went above and beyond and even gave a recommendation on a place that specializes in fixing such things. Great to have a new, honest mechanic in Rathdrum. Keep up the good work!

Both Sam and Fred were professional, friendly, and helpful in performing and explaining the pre-purchase inspection we had done on the 2013 Chevy Equinox we are buying. The stress of buying a used car evaporated as we understood the full extent of the condition of the vehicle. They helped us understand the report and make an informed decision. We re grateful for the transparency and straightforward demeanor they both expressed. We plan on making this our new service provider for my husband s 2020 Toyota Tundra and my 2015 Honda Odyssey.Thanks Sam and Fred!

I took my Ford F150 in for an oil change and servicing. Fred was absolutely amazing, explaining what they would be doing. I knew there were some issues with the brakes so they did an indepth inspection. Fred kept us informed about what they found, including photos and a video. We decided to take the truck back and have the work done since it was a safety issue. Communication was fantastic and our vehicles will most definitely be going here for future maintenance! My 2015 Sequoia wasn t starting right every morning so i brought it in to Silverlake Automotive. They were very friendly and great at keeping me updated on what was happening each day with my car. Even went above and beyond when my windshield cracked from an old ding in it having to be outside in 11 degrees overnight. I will be definitely be using them in the future for all my cars needs.

Rathdrum store is a solid choice for all your mechanical needs. They diagnosed my pickup quickly and had it tuned up that day. Very easy to talk with, and have a great inspection report for needed repairs. I definitely recommend giving them a shot at getting your vehicle fixed/serviced all you need done.

Glad to see a new great automotive place opened in Rathdrum. Have met and worked with Fred, Sam, and Nick in the shop several times. After talking with them and doing business there, its obvious they do automotive repair business from the quality standpoint not the quantity way. Honest people and honest work for a good price is lacking in this business. Its good to find a place where this is the case. Anything I cant fix I will be taking it to these folks.

Great communication on services! Decent pricing, clean and organized facility. Only small gripe, took a bit longer for the service than what was stated when dropped off. Sam immediately offered a coupon for $50.00 off when we came to pay and pick up the vehicle. That is why 5 star rating!

Silverlake Auto provided via text (or email) a comprehensive diagnostic report (with photos) of my vehicle s features in good working order, some suggested maintenance, and items that required repair. (Be sure to review it carefully for what Your car needs are.)They provided estimated repair cost on a required item that I hadn t noticed and then we got a further test and estimate on an expensive item of my concern which had triggered the Check Engine Light repeatedly, which is why I brought the car in. I m happy with their efforts now at least knowing the condition and needs of the vehicle. Knowledgeable and very informative, answered all my questions.

I am so glad I checked with Silverlake Automotive in Rathdrum to get a diagnosis done on my vehicle. Not only were they able to get me in that same day, but Fred really took his time explaining things to me. He went over every detail of my very thorough diagnosis report, and explained how it related to my quote. The report even came with pictures, which I found very helpful. I look forward to having them do my repairs soon!

Worked with Fred and Sam, they were able to get our truck in immediately and provide excellent service. They evaluated our initial request for service and was able to complete it as well as identify specific needs that our truck needed as a 21 year old vehicle to continue to keep it as a reliable vehicle for us for years to come. You know that feeling you get, when you go to a place where everyone is friendly, they treat you fairly, they go above and beyond, and you know deep down that you can trust them? That's the feeling you get at Silverlake Automotive. I've been a customer for years, and I'm really glad they have a branch in Rathdrum now. They did suspension work on our hatchback recently- and as always, did a great job, and treated us right. Thank you!

Nothing but good to say about Silverlake auto. Friendly and caring staff that carefully went thru the things I wanted done. The detailed photos and information on what they found before any repairs was priceless. Will be in with the wifes jeep next. Awesome job guys, keep up the good work.

Super great people. Great service and they have an electronic inspection that shows pictures of everything so it's no long that experience of people claiming stuff broke just to up charge you. Would definitely recommend.

These guys are awesome!!! They don't just let you know what should be done, they give you picture proof. They have fair prices and a very welcoming atmosphere! Highly recommend taking your vehicle here if it has issues.

These guys are great friendly and explain whats going on with your car. They also go over the work they are doing if any thing looks bad while they are working they call you and explain what going on and make sure you know. Thanks you Fred for everything my work will always come back to your shop in Rathdrum idaho.

I brought my Honda Prelude in as it would'nt start and they figured out it needed a bypass for the immobilizer, which I had done. with the newly bypassed ECU, they found a number of other things that would cause it not to start, like a bypass on the immobilizer control unit that needed to be done, and to bypass the neutral safety switch, as the car was swapped from automatic to manual. They did all this for about $150 and got it done quickly and hassle free. Will definitely take all my future vehicles here.

When I brought my car in to Silverlake automotive in Rathdrum I did not know what to expect but they looked over my car and were able to give me a full comprehensive work up and tell me everything on my vehicle that may need attention. They sent a link to me via text with all the information and pictures of my car where the problematic areas were! It was so neat! Unfortunately all I could afford was what was causing an issue. This is not the most lucrative time in my life. They went to bat for me with my warranty and got the most money they could so that I didn t have as much to pay out of pocket and then even lowered my labor cost to help make it affordable for me. They went above and beyond and I appreciate them so much! What a great new shop for Rathdrum!

Great shop, I've had them work on 2 cars now and I'm very pleased with how both turned out. Hopefully I never have to use them again, but I know if I do they will do an excellent job.

I would have liked to give 5 stars because they were great about diagnosing the problem with my Chevy Tahoe when the transmission went out . However, when given the price of a new transmission, I was in shock at over $8000 ! Had it towed to another place and had it rebuilt with upgrades for half the price . The transmission didn't have that many miles on it to go out so quickly, but then again , they've only been building Chevys for over a HUNDRED years !
