Highly recommend! Had a lot of work done on my 2006 Subaru in January. Noticed something leaking under the hood. Took my car back and they quickly found the problem and fixed it and cleaned up the oil that had splattered on the skip plate. Since we already spent so much money getting things fixed, they didn t charge me for fixing the oil drain plug gasket. Great service!

Lake city was fast and the bill was even a little less than the estimate.They got my f150 fixed and back on the road. Very happy with the service provided and the guys at the shop are friendly and explain Repair options clearly.

Fast, friendly and very informative. Took wife s car in for a check engine light that went off on way to shop and they looked at it and said there was no codes stored just to bring it back if it does it again. They did not charge us for checking the car out. Light came back on a month later and they were able to get us in the next day. Did a full inspection found the issue and got it fixed and back out on the road. Thank you Rathdrum Lake City Auto. You have a new life time customer.

I really appreciate the communication that Lake City Auto Care provides. Not only do they call, but also send an inspection report to review and you can select the services that you want completed. We support all the locations in town but Rathdrum location is our favorite.

I just picked up my car from this shop and I am very satisfied. My car was ready really soon, but I couldn't pick it up because of my economic situation. I want to appreciate the patience they had for me. No late fees were charged even if it took a long time to pay off the job they did. Thank you staff!

All of their bays were full. Despite that they they still got my pickup electrical problems figured out. They worked for 2 hours in the parking lot in the pouring rain to get me my vehicle back quickly.I'll definitely be returning for any future work. These people are great.

A great place for auto repairs in Rathdrum in fact, all of Kootenai County! They found and fixed the problems (and found that what others called problems needing fixing, weren t needed at all). On time, great work, less than expected cost! You can t go wrong with Lake City Auto!!!

I've been going to this shop since they got this location in Rathdrum as they're right down the road from my work. I work with Josh almost 100% of the time and he's always so extremely helpful, informative and willing to explain the details. Whenever something comes up with my car, Josh will take the time to actually get to the root of the issue rather than just doing a "band-aid fix" on it, just to have me back a week later to fix it the right way. I will continue to go here as long as I can and will continue to recommend people to this shop. Not impressed with this shop. They charged me $256. To pressure test my radiator and change my oil. They also quoted me over $1400 dollars to change my radiator. $400 dollars alone for the radiator. Over 100%mark up. I had a good experience with them last time under old management. I will never be backService: Engine repairService: Engine repair

They are always super friendly and get me in when I need to get my car serviced. Good price and good service. Also very trustworthy, I am a woman and I don't feel like they are going to rip me off in any way because some mechanics would rip me off in a heat beat. I have taken my car to them many times and I will be taking it many more times thru out it's lifetime, I even took my last car here so it's been quite a few years I have been going to them and like I said they will be getting my business again. I am on medical leave and have a very limited amount to spend on unexpected auto repairs. This is the most honest shop I have ever been to that said I would not feel right about changing the ball joint you requested to be replaced because it is in good condition . If you re looking for an automotive shop that is not going to charge you for unnecessary repairs, Lake City Automotive in Rathdrum is the place. I will not be going anywhere else for all future needs. Thank you Josh and staff!

Josh runs this business with a solid foundation of hard work and integrity. He has been straightforward, and honest in every encounter. On more than one occasion he has gone above and beyond to provide the best service I have ever experienced from a mechanic. I stopped by the Rathdrum shop due to the convenience of how close the shop was to my house. But now that I know how they take care of their customers I wouldn t care if I had to drive 100+ miles. I truly want no one else touching my cars. Josh truly has a passion for this and always puts the customer first. He will make sure his guys do the job and do it correctly. And even if there is some sort of mess up (we are all human) we makes it right! Lake city auto truly treats their customers like family. First good experience on a mechanic. Saved me $2000 on a repair that would have been incorrect at Christian Brothers. Josh is really nice and will thoroughly explain whats wrong with your car. And during repair, documents it with photos.Definitely found my mechanic

This garage is exceptional, took my car in with a confusing problem and had it fixed and back on the road 2 days. But don't wait too long they are busy and you might have to wait for a opening.... Great bunch and willgenerate as much business for them as I can....
