Hands down the worst company I've ever worked with. It took three calls over five months to get someone out to measure a few windows. We live 5min away. The worker who came out to take measurements still hasn't gotten back to us to provide a quote, 3 weeks later. We've since given up and called someone in Sandpoint who was able to provide a quote in one week. I'm shocked Priest River Glass is still in business.

I m so disappointed in this company. I had 2 windows needing replacement. It took John 2 weeks to return a phone call (actually multiple). He finally schedules an appointment, missed the appointments. I had to call the owner and just give him an FYI on his employee. So then John comes out to see windows with no information or understanding of why he is there in the first place. Then a week goes by and no quote. We called left him another message and still no call back. These were big money jobs too. Hope Steve knows his employee is losing business for him.

I DO NOT recommend this company unless you have lots of time and money to waste. It literally took them 7months to install a sub par window (took them 20 minutes when they finally showed up) and a ton of calls on our part. They made multiple promises they didn t keep and their front desk staff is rude to boot. Please don t support this kind of unprofessional behavior go to Sandpoint or Spokane.Service: Installation

Would not recommend and should have known after reading other reviews stating similar situations. Had a hard time even getting them to come out because they don t make appointments evidently. When he came out, after one attempt, he left so quick I wasn t sure if he was going to get something out of his truck or put a bid together or what. I finally said goodbye as he started the truck. Guess the job was to small, under 5k. A few weeks later I called to order the glass and left two messages still no call back. Sad when you want to give a local business your dollars to only have them give you the finger in a way. Ended up ordering the glass from Spokane. UGH!

In 2019 I had $30,000+ Anderson windows and doors installed in new construction. 2 of the slider windows are warped keeping me from weather proofing my home. I also can't secure my home because the doors won't lock. Of course they were paid in full.I have asked MANY times for the problems to be corrected. I don't like heating the exterior. In 2020 the excuse was covid. In 2021 someone came out to look at them and said yes they are warped. John gave me his phone number but he doesn't answer and "mailbox is full" I don't like to litigate, however it may be my last choice. This company is no longer ethical!Service: Installation

I needed four large dbl-glazed windows installed in an older structure, way out in the country on a mountainside (about 1/2 hour away from their glass shop). They came right out and worked up the measurements and the pricing. They fabricated the windows, and installed them in a couple of weeks. The windows, and the service, are MARVELOUS! They insulate very well (we live in a very cold environment that is hot in the summer) winter and summer. They glide easily back and forth to open/close. Nice strong screens that are silvery, so you barely see them. Visitors have all remarked that the entire windows installation is lovely. We agree! We love all that glorious light! Enjoy the fresh air, too. And the price they charged was very fair - less than comparable shops in the Spokane, WA - Coeur d'Alene, ID area. We plan for a second stage of windowing, and will for sure call on these guys again. LOVE IT!

I dont normally write bad reviews, but this place doesnt even deserve 1 star! My mom went and had them put in a windsheild. The first time it rained, it poured in her vehicle at the top. You could push the window back and forth, and they never put sealer in the window and it wasnt even in all the way. Went to them because they messed up, and they were least helpfull. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE HER FULL PRICE and they wanted to break the window to get it out. They were going to charge her ANOTHER 800 for a windsheild THEY MESSED UP!! and wanted to trash her vehicle in the process. Will never return and will warn anyone and everyone of our experience...

Called for 3 weeks to get locks changed and when they showed up to do the job on the wrong day wrong time they never finished the job. I was told that they would be back in the morning to finish the job or atleast call to let me know, 3 days later I had to call them just to get told that it would be next week. The lock Smith was rude while answering my questions and never resolve the issue. Currently still waiting.

Did a poor job on my car. Used too much window glue and left it all over. Also had gule between the window trim making it stick up. Driver side lower corner was sitting too high and they put a warped window in before checking it. Instead of unscrewing the base they popped it out causing damage to the body of my car. Now the clips for the splash guard wont stay in place. When I pointed out these issues the older man there told me it was an "old car". That is not an excuse to do a lousy job. Had Safelite come redo it in my driveway a week later and I am much happier. I do not reccomend Priest River Glass for windshield repair.

Like most places that do a great job in their field the only drawback they have is they're really busy so sometimes things seem to take longer than you'd like.

Every time I call for a quote, I never hear back. Hard to shop local when this happens. Always end up going somewhere else. They must not like money...

Glass was good quality and the people were very helpful. Only negative was the glass was not sanded on the edges until I got there.
