we had some really bad luck for a couple of weeks (house fire, totaled car, truck broke down) and when our truck broke down, we decided to take it to Lamont's as they had good prices and had really great reviews. Troy was great about keeping us informed and really tried his best to diagnose the truck without costing us an arm and a leg. We found out the truck isn't fixable, but he helped us out a lot with our invoice and gave us great advice. would recommend anyone to take their vehicles to his shop and will definitely bring our other vehicle here.

Rip off! They tried to charge me $275 for an oil change with fuel filter when my dealership charges me $180 for the same thing. I got them down to $225 but I won't be scammed again. BEWARE!

They take care of my oil changes quickly and with great care. Communication on any concerns I need to know about is always made. Receptionist is so sweet and personable.

This is the best mechanic in town. They treat you honestly and fairly. They don't do work that is unnecessary. This is the only one that I will use. From preventative maintenance to oil changes to more serious issues, these guys are excellent.

These folks are the real deal!! They always beat prices of other places I've tried, especially dealerships. The service is great, and very professional. I like that Wade always keeps me informed on the work they are doing, and when I can expect it to be done. In addition to repairs, I now have them do all the routine service on my vehicles because I know it will be done right... and they really work had to get me in promptly. You will be pleased too!

While camp host at Willow flat camp grounds. My truck has problems had it checked at lamont's, it had abs lights,noise and much problems, they were busy but said would try to work it in, got me a loaner car took a few days but discovered transfer case was bad. They could get one, but my son found one cheaper and was coming to visit they no problem bring it. That was on Wednesday got it on the following Monday dropped off case they got it in and finished it off.great job, thanksService: Transmission

On top of beating any competitor's price, they gave outstanding service. The owner showed up at my work, took my car to his shop, and delivered it back to me serviced and vacuumed with streak free windows. If you want above average service that's almost unheard of in this day and age, LOOK NO FURTHER. I will drive an extra 30 minutes out of my way for every oil change, because of my experience. I wish I could give them 10 stars! Thank you Wade Lamont! :)

Being a busy college student, I don't have time to wait for auto repairs!! Lamont's Auto Repair always has the best, top quality parts delivered right to their shop where they install them in a fast manner and ensure every customers satisfaction! The performance done by the technicians is state of the art and perfect every time! The owner, secretary and employees are very easy to work with and do their best to make sure the customer is happy 100%! Next time you have issues with your car, don't hesitate that Lamont's is the right place to take it!!!

First showed up thinking that one of my belts just went very loose and they were willing to fix it up and send me on my way free of charge. But come to find out the power steering pump fell and knocked my water pump loose I was stuck in preston. They fixed me up in a few hours and sent me on my way for a very reasonable price. In the end all I can really say is that if I experience any car problems this is the first place I'm going to in or around preston!

Can't believe how great of service there was. I've been to several other places to get my oil changed, and you'd think it was a basic service that doesn't change from place to place, but this place was fantastic. They vacuumed the pine needles from my car and washed my windows! Holy $#!+. I'll be taking time off from work just to get it done here from now on.

Lamont's is the BEST automotive service outlet I have ever used. Wade and his crew are competent, prompt, and HONEST. Many times Wade has gone out of his way to provide 'above and beyond' service. Way to go, Wade!

My Starter for my Mazda b4000 died on me. I bought a new starter at O'Rileys then went to Lamont Automotive to get it installed same day, and as soon as I arrived there.5/5 star would recommend.

Went in for an alignment, ended up paying for a new part. Alignment was not done. Vehicle was kept over 24 hours. Owner told me that my problem was because my tires were different brands. Terrible service!

The owner was kind enough to ck out my grandsons transmission that was not working correctly was not coast effective to fix did not charge me nothing. But appreciated.

I wish I had the option of giving this place not even one star. The person was so rude to me since the beginning. They charged me 50 dollars for an estimate and didn't even do anything to my car. What I know is that in every other place the estimates are free or they tell you when you drop off your car. I will never go back and I will let all my friends and family know about the horrible customer service at this place!

Took a simple water pump to him 3 times. Ended up using a different shop(smiles) and got the job done right the first time. Couldn't believe the lack of knowledge and care I received.

Rude staff. Went to drop my car off and they looked at me like I was stupid and made me feel like I shouldn t be there. Then when they called me to give me an update on my car they were extremely rude and acted like I was an inconvenience to them. Won t be going back.
