No one asked me to do a review and I rarely do them but I heard about Golden Rule Brake on the radio and since the steering wheel and brake pedal on my 2004 Toyota Corolla was pulsing while braking, and brakes were squeaking, I figured it was time to take it to Golden Rule. I had taken it previously to another shop and they said everything was fine. I wasn t satisfied with the assessment at the prior shop and after Golden Rule checked my brakes, they quickly diagnosed that the brake pads, shoes, rotors and rear drums were all in need of replacement. They gave me a fair price and fixed it all in less than a day! Now my brakes feel smooth and new again! Thank you Golden Rule Brake!

We had our Kia checked out here. It took them about an hour and a half to look for a problem. They did a thorough inspection for free and returned our car in good condition. The staff seemed friendly, and explained what they found. The explanation made sense. I would go here for brake work. Make certain you schedule ahead, they are booked. They have a small waiting area, but if you can, I would recommend leaving the vehicle there and coming back later.

Had my 4runner into Les schwabs on 3 occasions (pulsating brakes) and each time they changed parts but the vehicle left with the same issues. Knowing that this golden rule brake was under construction I waited out the issue for a few weeks and brought my 4runner here for the same issue and it was fixed correctly the first time. Thank you golden rule brake. Les Schwabs of rathdrum is a complete joke and they will never get my business again.

They did a complete brake job on my car and were several hundred dollars cheaper than Les Schwab down the road. They were very timely and professional, and even honored their discount that ended the day prior because we had to reschedule from the last week. Would definitely recommend this crew for your brake needs!

Golden Rule did a great job replacing the brakes on my car. I really appreciate them being honest enough too tell me my front brakes were still good, this is something you don't see very often.I will definitely bring my car back for the next service.

They are good at communicating and documenting what they think is wrong and what they can do to solve it. Prices seem competitive. Overall I think they do a better than average job! They send you pictures of things they fix or need fixing and even give you a print out of the same. They wouldn t do this if they were screwing you over as you could get a second opinion very easily with those documents and find out if they re lying or not.

My car stated pulsing when I applied the break, steering wheel was shaking. I called Golden Rule let them know my concerns, they got me in right away. I received a estimate complete with photos of my rotors and brakes. They were kind straight forward and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Golden rule.

From the initial consult with Mike, to checking in with Cosby, to Rob- my Mechanic, they were Fantastic! Each one of these men were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and were able to show me and explain patiently what was needed. The work was done in a good time frame, reasonable, and with a great warranty. Kudos to Golden Rule for having a wonderful Team!

My first experience with Golden Rule Brake. I am very satisfied. Great communication, I received a complete list of needed repairs that were ranked by severity. I was allowed to accept or deny which repairs I wanted. Excellent job at a fair price.

Great service, super friendly. The location however man it sucks. I imagine that the property was bought well before the mess of the interchange for hwy41 and Seltice. It sure makes it difficult to get in and out of

Earlier this week, while sitting at the intersection of 41 junction, a gentleman heading eastbound He must have either broke down or run out of gas? Struggling to push his truck out of the way through the intersection Nobody stopping to help this poor guy. I was thinking to myself please God somebody get out and help this poor guy. God is good and he listens because out of the corner of my eye I see two of your workers dropped what they were doing that day to help this guy push his truck through the intersection all the way where it needed to go. Why so many people were just passing this guy not even bothering to stop and help and give him a push. You're two workers come out, dropped what they're doing and help this guy out. They stepped up. They were the Good Samaritans That's a company I'd go take my business to that has employees that would step up above and beyond. Just cuz it's the right thing to do

I took my car to one of the other shops that I go to. I had a clunky little noise and they came up with a laundry list of stuff. So I thought I should take it to another place to see if I get the same list so I have heard ove Golden Rule from the radio and how they can save money and sure did they came with the same laundry list and saved me over 500 bucks for the same thing thank you and the place was clean and nice but it was the new one in Post Falls so it should be. But thanks again

I recently had to have a cv axle serviced. Having heard commercials and then reading reviews of Golden Rule Brake, I decided to give their new Post Falls location a try. Mike and Cosby were the guys there that took care of me. Everything was clearly and openly detailed up front no hidden surprises, and I went ahead and had a new cv axle installed. With an appt time, they got me in and out within 2 hrs wait time. All went well. Based on my first impressions and experience with them, I d feel comfortable recommending others in need to give them a try.

They gave me a honest price and didn't hide a thing. They have a very nice shop and the people are very friendly and help full wait at the shop and they did the work pretty fast. Will go back if I need anything else done with the brake and allinment. Very happy with the work.

Complete rebuild of the suspension and brakes on my 2003 DuraMax HD at 200K miles done on time and at the price quoted. No hidden charges or unexpected surprises. They are a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

I went to get my brakes done the day before Thanskgiving and after my brake job was complete,their was an electrical problem with my car. I wasnt having one before I brought it in. They left it sitting in their parking lot at idle knowing their was an electrical short. The battery died and they jumped it, and it died again. So I got a new battery from ORiely auto parts since my old battery was still under,warranty .Unfortunatley I do not know what they did with my car when they had it in their posession to possibly cause the problem. But if I was having any electrical issues I would of had that fixed before I got my brakes done. The fact that they did not let me know about the problem after doing the brake job I find not professsional or honest. I cant prove anything while it was in their care, but the miscommunication, and the thought that I could of been going down the road and have it die on me traffic is a little unsettling. And lastly their was other work that still needed to be done on my car like the bushings which they said could wait until the spring, but they recommended to not put good tires on the car, because it would cause them to wear out faster, and just a month before that I put a brand new set of all season tires on my car. They should of suggested to get the work done then. I unfortunatley will never do business with Golden Rule in the future because of the way I was treated. The Owner did call me, he was polite, but did not really resolve any of the problems I had in doing business with him. and I ended up spending another 1300 dollars to get the electrical fixed

Repaired my truck, had plenty of pictures to verify what needed to be done. Pleased that they have a location in Post Falls now and I don't have to drive all the way to Spokane Valley.

Waste of time! I literally have a beater with a heater. Something went wrong something broke and brake fluid everywhere!! I just wanted to know exactly where it was leaking from! Guy was very rude! He started off by saying he was already at 1500 and I said I can t afford that, so he said well I m not going to waste my time then, cuz it ll be upwards to 3k. It s a 2000 tundra, it s been ran through the mud, person I bought it from run it miles highway it s all rusted. It s been breaking here and there. I just wanted to get a quote to start working on things. I can t afford that all at once!! And he said he wasn t wasting his time doing that if I couldn t afford.Just needed to know what was wrong and wasn t even willing to tell me!!! I m not asking for charity, but the least they couldn t done was be nice, and still do a quote of what was absolutely necessary! Instead of stating I m not wasting my time, your keys will be ready!
