we absolutely love this place! Honest mechanic. Nick had always been so good to us and fit us in and he is very clear of not taking advantage of people. They are also very knowledgeable and experienced and yet so humble. We always bring our diesel vehicles here when needed and they always go beyond!

Heard about them from someone who had their 1st Gen Cummins worked on there and highly recommend themTook my 1st Gen there and they did a great job for a fair price.Easy access from the interstate. Safe place to leave a vehicle

We have an older style Ford F350 super duty diesel that most shops would not even talk to us about. Nick and his crew helped us out and were very helpful. They took time to teach us a few things about our vehicle. They were even able to fix a pesky headlight issue that other shops could not track down. Their prices are fair and their shop is easy to find. They were great on communication and gave us the confidence we needed. They know diesel engines and how to deal with us new diesel owners. I would highly recommend this shop.

I just purchased an E350 with the 7.3l diesel in it, and asked if I could get a scan to make sure I was good for my 800mi journey home, and spoke with AJ on the phone who said bring it in. One look at the place and I knew I was in good hands! As a former mechanic myself, I look for certain tells about a shop. One, are they busy? And boy, I could tell that they are THE shop in Idaho at first glance! AJ was awesome to take the time to help me out. If I ever need repairs done, I'd consider traveling back the 800mi to get service done here. To note, I also called over the weekend to inquire where to find fuel cans, and received a call the next morning, even though I didn't leave a message! Now THAT is customer service!

Went to them on a recommendation for my f250 and I immediately felt comfortable with Nick and his knowledge.had some engine work done that time around and his pricing was good and fair. Recently went back to have shocks installed and told him I wanted to do that before I put new tires on it down the street and he told me he did tires so he gave me a quote for the same tires I was going to buy down the street and was right about the same price so I figured why not have him do everything. Glad I found these guys!

CD Diesel was great! We needed our summer tires changed out to the winter ones and Nick was able to get us in quickly! They were super quick, very professional, VERY reasonably priced and fantastic to work with! We will be back for sure!!

Honest and trustworthy mechanics. They got me in fast and back on the road in no time. Prices were fair and I walked out extremely happy with the service and communication.It can be hard to find a good diesel shop that can get you in quick AND accurately diagnose your issues. They took the time to explain my options. These guy exceeded my expectationsI will be a repeat customer!

Great service and value, turned my all stock 2002 F350 7.3 Powerstroke into a new truck with S&B air intake, DP Tuner, 4 inch turbo back exhaust and Edge CTS3/Pyro kit. And great customer service explaining everything to a guy with no prior experience with these performance enhancements. Highly recommended.

I took my 2005 Chevy Duramax to have a brake job and the electrical system checked out because it was acting up once in a while. I was taking a trip to Alaska and didn't want to run into any problems. A.J. called me and said the brake pads had plenty of pad left and that the batteries were weak. I advised him that I would change them myself. This is the 2nd time they have worked on my truck and I highly recommend CN Diesel for there honesty and workmanship.

In March 2017, our 04 Chevy Duramax lost all power, and sounded like motor blown, just North of CDA. After a day and nightwith the clowns of the service dept of a local Chevrolet dealer, having no clue what was going on, our tow truck driver recommended CN Diesel.I spoke with Nick the owner on the phone, he diagnosed the issue on the phone! Towed 15 miles to his shop, he took my girlfriend in his personal rig to get the brand new part (no. 2 and 7 injector harness), installed it, only charged us an hour of shop time. For the cost of part and an hour of shop time ($372 total), our entire vacation was saved, with only 2 days lost, as opposed to being stranded at the chevy dealership for days, and spending the 12k they recommended for a NEW MOTOR!Since then, the staff, and especially AJ, have been enormously helpful to us with all of our diesel issues, and have such good pricing, that we travel 320 miles round trip whenever we have a diesel issue serious enough to take it in. If not, Nick or AJ will tell you what you can replace yourself, usually very accurately.Thank you, Nick and Co. You have been a lifesaver for us twice so far, and hopefully far into the future.Sincerely,A very satisfied customer and family.

Nick was great. I called him asking for a mechanical review on a car I was looking to purchase. He called me back promptly and answered all my questions. He was upfront and honest about the 2 engines I was looking at telling me the good and bad points of both.I would recommend Nick and CN Diesel Performance any time after the way they helped me.

This place is the best! They did work for us in the past and we have called them several times since to verify details. Nick is always so kind and patient with questions. We were driving from Seattle to Missoula today and our ""check air filter" message popped up. We stopped in and A.J. took care of us and had us back on the road in under 20 minutes. We can't say enough good about this team.

I was in need of a downpipe to turbo clamp for my 7.3 powerstroke, no place in the Spokane cda area had one started calling shops as a last chance CN diesel hooked me up they were helpful professional and honest i will be in contact with them again most definitely...... UPDATE!!!!!! was having an issue with my truck i could figure out the issue as i had no scan tool took my truck over to CN diesel they had the diagnosis in 10 minutes, and they got my truck fixed right the first time for a fair price as a former heavy diesel mechanic i am truly grateful to meat such honest and knowledgeable techs

There is not another shop out there that Inwould let touch my truck. They have been more than fair with me over the years and Nick has been completely honest with me since day one. I have never had to return to the shop for the same job because they get it right the first time. Anybody saying anything negative about C N Diesel must be a total idiot or an attempt at competition because even with a less than tidy shop, the work is more than quality.

While enroute to Couer D Alene Idaho the fuel filter on my 2007 Chevy 2500 became plugged from bad fuel at a prior fuel stop.After some checking CN Diesel Performance came highly recommended.I took it to them and Technician AJ took me right in. Upon inspection he discovered the following problems.A plugged fuel filter,A cracked fuel lineA defective water in the fuel separator. I was dead in the water.AJ who is highly experienced ordered a new fuel line and did a highly professional job of installing the fuel line and fuel filter as well as the water in fuel separator.It was also determined my Shock Absorbers needed replacing.AJ and Manager Rick Bowlin began a search and located the Shocks I needed.When the Shocks arrived they were installed immediately and I was ready to roll.Rick & AJ did a great job and at a Very Very fair price.I highly recommend them and CN Diesel to everyone.

Easy to reach during an emergency breakdown, very accommodating and professional and upfront with official written estimates. Got our diesel up and running quickly while we were able to enjoy our vacation at Silverwood and still get home as scheduled. Can't thank them enough for squeezing us in.

The most fair, knowledgeable, and honest mechanic shop I ve ever worked with. Nick is running a great shop here and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a customer is satisfied. I wouldn t take my rig anywhere else.

Nick, got my truck back earlier than promised. Runs like a champ and at a fair price, that was quoted correctly. Obviously a man of your word which is hard to find anymore, Job well done sir! Thank your mom and dad for raising you right. I'll see you in a couple weeks for an oil change and probably fuel filter change. While on vacation from North Carolina and pulling a travel trailer with our 2005 Ford Excursion 6.0l diesel, I noticed that the accelerator, intermittently, would have no effect on throttle action once we came to a stop or near stop. I could press the pedal to the floor and there was no response from the engine, which would remain at idle. By the time we got to Post Falls, Idaho, the situation had become downright dangerous because sometimes it happened when trying to cross an intersection. Ford dealers in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene were useless telling me that they could get to us in 2-3 weeks, even though I explained that I was traveling.Decided to look for a diesel performance shop and found CN Diesel Performance. Drove there and found Nick Bowlin, the owner, who took an interest in helping us immediately. To make a long story short, it turned out to the the ICP sensor, a problem notoriously difficult to diagnose because it often malfunctions intermittently. It took 2 days to diagnose during which Nick allowed us to park and stay in our trailer in the company storage lot while figuring out what was wrong. After many trial and error attempts over 2 days, the faulty ICP sensor was identified and replaced and we were on our way.Nick and his employees were so accommodating and worked so hard to work us in to their busy schedule so we could get going again. Very fair pricing for all the work done, too. In addition I learned a lot about working on diesel engines while hanging around the shop. You can't go wrong by going to this shop if you need diesel engine work.

Took my 96 ram in for injection pump repair,,, (which they just pulled it and shipped it to Spokane shop for work) power steering pump, fuel plate, replacement. power steering pump rattled loose day 2. Then day later drove to work... my truck wouldn't shut off with the key... I did get the truck shut off....but after work it wouldn't start. Thanks to more loose fuel system parts. I took it in to a better shop and learned the hard way as there were loose nuts/bolts all over as well as missing bolts and 2 bolts broken off in thre afc housing. This work was a over a year ago but I'm posting it now because its in the shop again due to their poor work. Kc may be knowledgeable but the kids working on my truck did me no justice. They did offer to right some of the issues but after being left stranded multiple times Id rather they not work on my truck....

Paid for parts and was told it would be two days and it took a month and me having to make repeated. Unanswered calls and having to make several trips to there shop. To get a simple air filter could have been an easy call just to let me know ? Was going on. But I had to. Therten to picket that shop to get any kinda of response from them. Just a very unprofessional way to run a business

A Refreshingly Honest Mechanic. Nick, was great to deal with and Ac & Aj did a great job on my Ford. I can not recommend them highly enough.
