I showed up unannounced with a hot engine warning light. (I was from out of town) Steve told me he couldn t bump a customer he had promised to have a repair done for. But not wanting to leave me in a lurch, stayed late to help get me on the road.I ve never met such an honest business owner who made it obvious he wanted to do right by me but also his current customer. I highly recommend this business. My truck was fixed quickly, professionally and at a great price. When you re at someone else s mercy, nothing is as comforting as having a trusted ally in your corner.

Wow.. done business here a couple times. Told my wife to go here instead of the big box tire store because we like to support local business. Today my wife came here to get a tire aired up and price out new tires. They were rude and said we don't air up tires here! Ridiculous didn't even get to the new tire part of the conversation. Went right down the road to the big box store they did it with a smile and and currently ordering tires from them. So much for local helping local.

Very friendly and helpful. Came in with a battery charge problem and they fixed a belt issue (along with replacing the alternator with one I brought) within a few hours! Very fair price, everything went way better than expected!

Purchased used Subaru in Oct 2022. Car would not start, so I was referred to Center Tire. Had my car there 3 times- the last time the owner said to have it towed- there was nothing he could do. Had it towed to CDFlandscape( my sister & brother in law own this). Their mechanic replaced a computer & had it programmed at Parker Subaru. My brother in law replaced the battery for me in 2023. I will never take my car to Center Tire.

Called at 4:10 on a Friday, hoping to find a couple of used tires to get me going again. By 4:25 had tire on rim and out the door. Steve was awesome, quick handshake and I was on the road.They have a customer for life. BTW, also found someone willing to work on my Suzuki mini truck!!!�

Steve told me that he fixed the suspension system, then the light came on again. He charged me $500. So we went back to the shop. And it turn out he admitted he did NOTHING to the suspension system. Then he admited he couldn't fix it which was why he would give us a receipt. He charged me for something he never did!

If you aren't bringing your car to Steve, then what are you even doing with your life?! This is the best, most reliable, efficient, and affordable mechanic you will ever find! I'm so lucky to have found this business! Steve has maintained my vehicle for nearly 4 years, and I've referred other customers. He's friendly, informative and all out great mechanic to work with!Under the new owner, Steve Rodgers, I got a quote for 'door checks' (the mechanisms that keep your car doors in the open position) as they had worn out in my new (to me) car. Steve quoted me the price of the parts without marking them up and was able to install the new parts quickly for a very reasonable price. Steve came highly recommended by a co-worker that previously had work done by him, so I knew he was trust-worthy. I was so happy with the work he did that I have since referred my mom when she was dealing with transmission issues. Steve is honest, trust-worthy, affordable, and efficient. He's what you look for in a good mechanic. I plan to continue to bring any car issue to him in the future, and you should too!

Steve squeezed me in this week to replace my waterpump and let me use his personal vehicle in the mean time. My truck is my only vehicle and as a single dad that was a huge help to me for him to do that.

Really grateful for this place! Was road tripping and my heat shield came loose while driving down the gravel roads at North Cascades National Park.It was rattling so bad (and rubbing on my gas tank)....I must've called 10-15 places between Washington and Idaho and this was the only place that was willing to fit me in within a few days.He explained the situation to me, helped me with info for another issue that I was experiencing with my car and attempted to help (I wouldn't have been in town by the time the part came in so he let me know how to best proceed with getting that resolved while roadtripping).Timely, nice, communicates well.....really great. As a solo female traveler....I felt safe going to this mechanic.Would recommend!!

Stopped by at the end of the day on a Friday to get some wheels installed and Steve was Amazing! Got my truck in first thing the next morning and even ordered me the perfect set of lug nuts to match my wheels. Awesome local business with excellent customer service!

I called to get a price check on Transmission and filter , they gave me a price, then said they had customers waiting, that I would have to call back to schedule a appointment, I said can you put me on hold so I can make a appointment, he laughed and said I would be on hold for 20 minutes,Where the heck is customer service,I was a customer on the phone , Does customer in person over ride those on phone?NOT a good way to treat anyone on phone.

Brought my car in to get the a/c checked out. Steve took it right in and within 10 minutes had a diagnosis. Another shop had my car for 4 months and didn't figure out the problem. Steve is a great guy and stands by his work. Took my car in to have an ABS light looked at and he discovered some other issues with the car. Long story short the car needed a new transmission and he got me a great deal on one and installed it. Cost was great. I couldn't be happier with the work he has done. I've found my mechanic that's for sure. Thanks Steve!

Super honest and amazing company!! Its so hard to find a high quality and honest mechanic that wont break the bank. Steve is an awesome guy. Rolled into his shop with a flat on my land cruiser and he got us squared away with a temporary tire for a good price and gave all my kids free hot wheels (cuz he's awesome). I then proceeded to order four new tires and told him I'd be back in a week to get them installed. However, being temporarily boned by a couple unscrupulous moving companies bleeding us dry left us unable to purchase the tires for another 2 months. When I called back expecting the tires to be gone, Steve informed me he still had them set aside for us (cuz he's awesome) and installed them right away. Noticing our license plate was crooked due to a broken screw head in one of the corners, he zipped in a couple more screws in the bottom for free (but checked with me first, cuz he's awesome). Steve has my business as long as I live in Idaho. He's a solid guy who does quick work at a fair price (cuz he's awesome).Service: Tires

On our Great American Family Road Trip, the alternator on our van died. Steve was AMAZING!! Not only did he get us an new alternator but leant us a curtesy car to get to our Spokane Hotel (that we could not cancel). He and his team worked overtime to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. Professional, honest, and experienced, Steve saved our road trip and we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Center City Tire & Automotive to anyone and everyone. Steve at Center city was a Godsend! I was traveling through Post Falls on a road trip and my clutch stopped working on my way to visit family. Steve was the third mechanic my uncle and I went to. Every shop was booked up for weeks, including Steve s. It was his admin day off. He could ve sent my uncle and I away. But, he stopped, took the time to listen and give his diagnosis. He was SUPER knowledgeable and honest! Then went above and beyond and said I could drop my car at his shop and he would look at it first thing the next morning since I was stranded. We had the car towed to him and he still happened to be there when we returned. So he said he would take a look at it and fixed it on the spot. And because it was such a quick fix he did it pro bono. Who does that? This guy is the real deal! If I lived in Post Falls I d trust Steve as my mechanic. He won my uncle over (a local) as a client too! Not an easy thing to do. Steve and Tim were my knights in shining armor when I was stranded in Post Falls on my way to Portland. He and Tim came right to my car at the Auto Zone and installed the battery that had been charged overnight. Steve dropped me off at a coffee shop to wait. Tim replaced the alternator and fan belt, which were tricky with the turbo engine. Steve picked me back up from the coffee shop and helped take care of the core charge on the alternator I d gotten from Spokane. This saved me time, so I could make it in time for my daughter s surgery! They were friendly, and helpful! I m so grateful for all their help! I definitely recommend them and their services!

I started going to these guys 6 yrs ago. So happy with their work on my rig over the years. There s not enough positive things I can say about these guys.Yesterday (5/16/19), I dropped off my rig and they said they were a few days behind on the work they had. Of course I was disappointed, but they managed to look at my rig and fix it today. I am so thankful! Once again, thanks guys!6 yrs ago, I needed my transmission to be worked on. I told them what I wanted and they did exactly what I asked. They also provided me with other information about transmissions and recommended something else, but didn't pressure me. They also had a fair price on their service, got me an appointment quickly, treated me very respectfully, and were also very friendly. I'd recommend them for any of your mechanical needs. Thanks guys!

Steve was a life saver. Our AC went out right after we got on the road to head 2,000 miles home in the middle of summer. Not knowing anyone in Post Falls (we were just passing through), we were lucky enough to come across Center City Tire and Auto. Not only did they see us right away, but they quickly found the problem and got in fixed at a decent price so we could get back on our trip.I'm not sure if I'll ever need automotive help in Post Falls again, but if I do, I know where to go!Service: A/C installation & repair

Under the new ownership of Steve, this is my go to place! I have two Italian cars and he's been able to fix them for much less than other specialty shops. Use to use Post Falls performance back when Lou owned this business. I knew Lou had retired and thought I'd give this person a shot. Called about my Dodge Dakota needing a water pump that Lou had replaced years ago. I asked what it would cost to have it changed I was quoted almost 2 times what Lou charged me. I did it myself with a manual ratchet in about an hour and a half. Lou charged 250 this guy quoted me 600-700 for a hours work

I love these guys!!! Had my car fixed in just 2 days. When I thought it was a lost cause. I will never go back to best auto tire in cda.
