I had a big dent in my pickup rear quarter panel, and had been to a number of different dent repair places in the region and everyone wanted to extract what felt like large sums of money out of me to fix it. I went in to Northwest Auto Body on the recomendation of a friend and I was very impressed. When I showed them the dent they asked me to back into the shop, using their amazing skills they pulled the dent out and touched up the scratch so it wouldn't rust over the winter. They accomplished this in about 10 minutes and sent me on my way at no cost! I will go back to them and pay them to clean up the scratches after the winter is done, what amazing service! I will be highly recommending them to my friends and family.

Amazing bodyshop. I ve been in the autobody world for a long time and these guys do great work. The most impressive part though is their customer service. David at the front desk is one of the best customer service people I ve ever met. He remembers details from conversations you ve had, stays in touch regularly with updates on your vehicle and is super friendly to everyone. Clark has been the estimator on my vehicles and is also very good with communicating and getting insurance companies to fix your car right.

Best auto body shop around. Eric and staff are always ready and happy to help. They go the extra mile!!! I had some small rust spots on my car that I sanded down to metal and needed help with what product to use. Eric took the time when I arrived (no appt.) to do an application and handed me the product, no charge. Bottom line is, they care, are available and very knowledgeable.

In August, we hit a deer on I-90 on our way to Sandpoint, Idaho. We took a pretty good hit from the buck, and he caused plenty of damage, but we were able to get to our destination without a driver side light and rubbing on the new tires we had put on for the trip.When we got to Sandpoint, our good friends referred us to Northwest Autobody to see if they could help us get our truck in a safe condition to get us home to Colorado. Northwest Autobody was great. They helped us right away. There were parts rubbing on the tire, the lights and electrical was hanging down, the hood would not open, the driver s door barely opened. They cut off all the parts which were causing the rubbing on the tire and hanging so loose they would fall off and puncture the tire on the road or harm someone else. They were able to get the hood adjusted so we could open it if need be. They took such good care in getting the truck in a safe condition to continue our journey home.The owner and employees were so great. They dropped what they were doing to help us so we could travel the next 1500 miles home. We appreciated them so much for their kindness and willingness to help complete strangers in need. Megan and her team handled fixing my truck perfectly! I had heard that NW Auto Body was the best shop to take your vehicle in to get fixed and I was very pleased to learn that was true! Megan communicated with me all throughout the repair and I was super happy to get my truck back looking great! Thanks again NW Auto Body! I will recommend you guys to anyone I know!

Update 2023 - This is THE place for your autobody repair needs! The attention to detail, quality, safety, and their customer service is exceptional. Clark went above and beyond to help me with my small issue. Megan, Rick, and Clark were a great team. Our late model Subaru was in perfect condition before an unfortunate fender bender. We asked our insurance for the highest quality shop with the best customer service. The team at Northwest in Ponderay were excellent. they not only did an amazing job, they were fast, efficient, and cared about the outcome.

Northwest auto body replaced my rear brake cab light. It had been leaking. They were so professional and completed the job the day I called for an appointment. They are so trust worthy and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

I had the opportunity (misfortune, let's be honest) to visit here. I dented my new vehicle, and they repaired same day, on the spot for less than $200.However, that's not what I was most impressed with. Sitting in the waiting room, I witnessed first hand how they operate. I watched the employees interact, the customers taken care of, and one of the owners support. There was a top down care to this company that left me feeling very confident in trusting them with my vehicle.1. I watched one employee ask a coworker if they'd updated a client (no, left him a message) . Less than 2 minutes later, that client called and received a full update.2. An existing employee was being cross trained. The owner was guiding and supportive and said... "... we'll do this together"3. They got busy with multiple walk in customers. They juggled training, service, and estimating easily. They only had to ask the owner for help and he was there immediately.4. I was able to sit in their waiting area and feel like I was at home. The office talked with me and engaged to keep it from being awkward.5. Some client came in to look at his vehicle getting a "temporary" fix and left thinking he could live with it permanently.Just a little off what I experienced!

Recently someone had backed into my truck while it was parked in a parking lot and I needed to find a good honest Auto Repair shop. I was recommended to Northwest Auto body in Ponderay by a friend. When I arrived at the shop I was greeted by Eric in the front office who was extremely helpful. The entire staff was helpful form first contact to the repair crew who showed me all the work that was done. They took care of my vehicle and even set up a rental car with my insurance company so I didn't have to. These guys always went the extra mile to make sure I was being taken care of. I was impressed with the size of the shop, state of the art paint booth and quality of work. They really have a fantastic facility with all the resources needed to provide phenomenal work. I Highly Recommend Northwest Auto body if you are looking to be treated Great and get Quality Repair work done!

When a tree came down during a storm and caused significant damage to my car I turned to Northwest Autobody for repairs.I want to personally thank Cory, David and all the superbly skilled craftsmen who took part in the absolutely beautiful job of restoring my car to like new condition.This is a top tier, highly professional facility owned and operated by caring people who treat you like family.Thank you.

My car is my baby, I love it! But when someone hit my taillight and didn't bother to leave a message I was upset. I called NW Autobody and they walked me through the process. They provided an accurate quote and id the repair in the time frame promised. I highly recommend them for your baby!

My experience at NW Auto Body, Ponderay, Idaho was amazing. I was referred by the dealer that I purchased my new vehicle from and was put at ease as Rick described the repair process in detail. (I asked a lot of questions.) They did a phenomenal job, with no increase in costs above the estimate. It was once again like new with a better guarantee than came with the brand new truck. Thanks guys ! You do a great job. I would recommend them to anyone. PS. I sheepishly admit that I then proceeded to nick the bumper, (SHOCK !) which they touched up for free. Who does that ! So, trust them to go above & beyond. I do.

Northwest Autobody in Ponderay is truly an exemplary business, I could not be more pleased with my experience. extremely knowledge and professional staff. Eric was very informative about everything going on with my vehicle. I was referred by a friend who said this was the best body shop in town, they not only met but exceeded my expectations. I take an immense amount of pride and care in maintaining my vehicle and I can honestly say it looks better then before the accident. I highly recommend Northwest if you want top notch work at fair price.

Brought my car in after I was involved in an accident. Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Had my car back within a week looking as good as it did before the accident! Definitely recommend Northwest Auto body for all of your repair needs. Make sure to ask for Rick, he was extremely helpful in making the whole process run smoothly and answered any questions I had.

I have had the pleasure to work with the Northwest Autobody and Towing Inc team on many occasions, as professionals and in the community. I was hit by a third in an accident and was having trouble with the third party insurance on paying the claim and Northwest Autobody went above and beyond to help expedite and resolve such a long drawn out process with the other insurance company. In the end they fixed my vehicle and followed up to see if everything was to my liking. Special thanks to Rick, Amy, Mike and Corey on going the extra mile in making everything come together!!They truly are the leaders in their profession and can be trusted with the right advice and service at anytime.Mike

Wow, cannot tell you how happy I am with the work they have done on my brand new truck. Let me just say, never take a bubble brush to your new truck, ever. Well after I scratched the heck out of it, Rick looked at it and said he could make it look new, and guess what. he did. Yahoo. Great customer service. My husband also had a deer hit on his truck. Again they made it look beautiful. Toyota dealer could not even tell that it had been repaired. Look no further people, these are professional and very skilled. Thank you everyone.............

An accident totaled my pickup. Ty, the estimator, was courteous, informative, efficient, and went a couple of extra miles to ensure that the insurance company knew the truck, other than the results of the accident, was in excellent shape for its age. Result: I got eight times what I expected to get and still have a fine truck with a few dents. Thanks Northwest Autobody--you'll have my business if ever I need it again!

Northwest Autobody is an insurance chaser/ambulance chaser. They are why your premiums are so high!My wife backed into my car in the driveway and the plastic didn't line up. Their first question was 'do you have insurance?' I said I have full coverage but don't want to make a claim. The whole 'I can help you' vibe changed instantly.They went straight to the high ball estimate of $1600 just to diagnose the problem and probably $2500 to $3500 to repair it. And run a thriving business.I went to another local shop ( Scott's Auto Appearance) and was told it was just a few broken plastic keepers and they could repair it for under $300!Disgusting!

I cannot say enough good things about my recent experience at Northwest Autobody in Ponderay. From start to finish the entire process was amazing! The staff was friendly helpful and knowledgeable, you can tell they really care about the customer service at their facility just as much as they care about the repairs they provide for your vehicle. The repairs were done in a timely manor, they provide weekly updates so you can understand just where your vehicle is in throughout the entire process and the outcome of my vehicle exceeded my expectations.They go above and beyond! This autobody shop has won my business for any and all of my autobody needs and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and awesome place to go! Thanks Northwest Autobody!

They worked hard with the insurance company to do the job right. My truck was hit in my neighborhood in Boise 4 days before my move to Sandpoint. The driver's insurance company was giving me the run around, but I wanted to have Northwest do the job. They worked hard to get what was needed approved. I would recommend them any day of the week. Ric was great, and he took care of me. Thanks!

Was looking for a place for repairs after an accident. Ended up at NW Autobody after reading about their charity donation to the Bonner Community Food Bank in the paper. Their friendly staff did an excellent job explaining my options and had me back on the road in no time at a fair price. Highly recommended to anyone in the area.

Did a great job on my Toyota. Got back on the road even faster than expected. They went the extra mile to make sure my truck was as good or better than before the accident. Will defiantly do business there again!
